Alec's POV

Alec woke up to the sound of Magnus whisper shouting, Alec blinked and opened his eyes he looked around and saw that Magnus was standing in the doorway of the tent with someone else.

"Magnus" Alec called out, sitting up and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, "Who are you talking to?"

Magnus turned around and walked to Alec, Jeffery followed Magnus into the tent.

"Just my Dad" Magnus said, sitting down on the bed, "Are you okay?" he asked, brushing a strand of Alec's black hair out of his face, "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine" Alec whispered.

"Magnus I haven't finished talking to you" Jeffery said.

"Well you can finish talking to me when I'm done talking to Alec, Go away" Magnus said.

"Fine I'll go, but you and Alec can come talk to me when you're done" Jeffery said.

"Fine" Magnus said. Jeffery walked out of the tent zipping it closed.

"Alec" Magnus said, "I saw your arms, when you were sleeping, why would you do something like that?" he asked, his voice was soft and filled with concern.

Alec felt his eyes widened, "You saw my arms!" he whispered, he could feel the tears forming in his eyes.

"Why would you do that to yourself Alec?" Magnus asked, he didn't sound angry or mad just concerned.

He's not concerned about you, the little voice said, how many times do I have to tell you that he's just faking it, he's acting.

"I-I don't know" Alec cried, before letting the tears fall.

Alec felt Magnus's arms wrap around him, he leaned into Magnus's chest and cried.

"Shhh" Magnus whispered, kissing the top of Alec's head, "it's okay, but do you have any idea why you did that?"

Alec shook his head, "No" he whispered, "I only know that the little voice keeps telling me to do it, hurt myself."

"What little voice?" Magnus asked, "Is their someone telling you to hurt yourself?" Magnus asked, "Like Jonathan or Sebastian or someone?"

Alec shook his head, "No" he said, "just that little voice in the back of my head, doesn't everyone have one of those voices?" he asked, looking up at Magnus through his tears.

Magnus shook his head, "No Alec, I don't think everybody has one of those voices in the back of their head."

Alec looked down at his arms, the sleeves of his sweater was covering up the cuts. "I just can't get it to stop, I try to make it shut up but it doesn't work."

"Alec" Magnus said, making Alec look up at him, "I think you need to see someone that can help you."

"I don't need help" Alec said, "I'm fine, I don't need help, I don't want it." Alec said, feeling angry he didn't need help he's fine.

As fine as a crazy, suicidal boy who killed his parents can be, the little voice said.

"Shut up" Alec told the voice.

"Why do you want me to shut up?" Magnus asked, "I get it that you don't want help but you didn't need to tell me to shut up."

"No not you! You don't have to shut up it's just…" Alec trailed off and looked down and the floor of the tent.

"It's just the little voice right" Magnus said.

Alec nodded, "yeah…"

Magnus leaned over and kissed Alec's forehead softly and pulled him in for a hug, "We should go talk to my dad, he kind of saw the cuts."

Alec looked up at Magnus, "he won't tell Vicky right?" Alec asked, "I don't want her to know about it all."

"It's alright I'll make sure he doesn't tell her" Magnus whispered.

Alec heard the tent zip open and Jeffery walked in, "You" he said pointing to Magnus, "Sit over there" he pointed to Magnus's bed.

Magnus sighed and detangled himself from Alec and sat on his bed. Alec sat on his bed and wrapped his arms around his knees, bringing his knees up to his chest.

"Alec" Jeffery said softly, sitting down on the edge of Alec's bed, "Why would you do that to yourself?" he asked.

"I already told Magnus" Alec whispered, "ask him I don't want to talk about it anymore."

Jeffery sighed and turned to Magnus, "Can you please tell me what Alec told you Magnus."

"He has this little voice at the back of his head telling him to hurt himself" Magnus said, "Alec doesn't want help so don't try and make him get some okay."

Alec smiled at Magnus.

"Alright" Jeffery said, turning back to Alec, "You know you can talk to Vicky and me about it all, we can help you" He said.

"If I wanted to talk to you two about it before I would have" Alec spat out, "And I don't need help, I'm fine."

"Okay Alec I get it" Jeffery said, "but I think you really do need help, I'll book an appointment with the schools guidance counsellor for you."

"You're not listening" Alec said, calmly, "I don't need help I'm completely fine."

"Alec" Jeffery said, sternly, "You're self-harming and you have a little voice at the back of your head telling you to do things. You're not fine."

"I'm fine" Alec whispered, rocking back and forth, "I'm completely fine I don't need help, I don't want help I'm fine."

"Dad I think you should go" Magnus said.

Jeffery sighed and stood up, "I'm only trying to help Alec."

"I don't need help" Alec whispered, "I'm fine."

Alec faintly heard the sound of the tent zip close. He felt his bed sink down a little bit and he felt arms wrap around him.

"Alec" Magnus whispered, "Come on, calm down" Magnus said, "You're freaking me out a little bit."

Yeah quit it Alec, the little voice said, you're acting like a bigger freak then you already are.

"I'm sorry" Alec whispered, to Magnus, to his parents to everyone he's let down, "I'm so sorry."

"Shhh" Magnus said, "It's okay, it's okay."

Alec tried to believe him but he knew that it wasn't okay, nothing was anymore.

so yeah... tell me if you liked it I know it could've been better but i just couldn't get this chapter to be awesome enough to be good ish.
