Jasmine swung her legs over the railing of her window. A long rope hung out it and she began to climb down. She was escaping, no more of her after school life, her life as a prisoner. Jasmine wanted to be free from all of that. And tonight was it. She climbed over the wall and didn't once look back. Jasmine was finally free.
Aladdin stood at a corner, sinking his teeth into a "borrowed" apple. He looked over at the apple stand to see if anyone had noticed, nope, not yet. A girl walked up to the stand and turned her head so she faced Aladdin. He was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Next to her, he saw a small, hungry boy.
"I know how he feels." Aladdin mumbled to himself. Aladdin had grown up on the streets, until he came in contact with his best friend, Flynn Rider. Together, the two became the number one thieves in the city…until they got caught. There were two options: One, go to jail or two, be part of a program that allowed homeless children to be cared for. Of course, the choice was obvious.
The girl, seeing how hungry the boy was, she handed him an apple.
"Girl's got a heart of pure gold…" Aladdin thought to himself. Unfortunately for her, the clerk saw the whole thing.
"I hope you're going to pay for that…" he said.
"I'm sorry sir; I don't have any money…" she said, backing away. "If you would just let me…"
"Do you know what the penalty is for stealing?"
"No…no, please!"
"Thank you kind sir," Aladdin said to the clerk, seeing as the girl was in trouble. "I'm so glad you found her." The girl looked confused, so Aladdin whispered to her, "Play along…"
"You know this girl?" He asked.
"Sadly, yes. She's my sister. She's a little crazy." The girl seemed offended, but went along with it.
"Come on sis, time to go see the doctor…"
"Hello doctor, how are you?" she said to a random post.
"No, not that one…"
As the pair walked away, the apple Aladdin had fell out of his pocket.
"COME BACK YOUR DIRTY THEIVES!"
"Thank you, for saving me." Jasmine said to the boy.
"You don't have to thank me." He said, "I just did that because I wanted to."
"Well…thank you anyway." The pair continued walking through the streets.
"Can you tell me your name?" Jasmine asked.
"Sure, my name is Aladdin. What about yours?" Aladdin said.
"My name….my name is…uh…" Jasmine staggered as something caught her hood. It was pulled down in one swift move, revealing her entire face.
"Jasmine…?" She heard Aladdin say. Jasmine pulled her hood back over her face and ran, hot tears streaming down her face. Why did that have to happen?
As Jasmine ran, she pushed past a girl. The girl's book fell to the ground with a loud thud. She scrambled to pick it up and whipped the dirt off. She looked at Jasmine with a smile. The girl ran off down the road as fast as she could. Her name is Scheherazade and she is the writer of fate.
Later that night, Scheherazade sat on a hilltop overlooking the city. Her famous book sat in her lap. She had finally chosen the few that would bring the one thing the world needed and let the tales come true-Magic.
"Aladdin." She said. The book opened to the tale her ancestor once spun. It showed the current story. A blank story.
"Perfect." She said. Scheherazade thought of where to start. The perfect story came to her. "The Little Mermaid." The book opened once again. This time, it wasn't blank like it had been the previous night. It now showed a picture of a girl with pure red hair. Scheherazade took out her pen and began to rewrite the words that were already written. She began to spin Ariel's tail.
That Saturday morning Ariel yawned and stretched. She blinked her blue eyes and got out of bed and ran to the bathroom. Living with four older sisters was not easy and for once, Ariel wouldn't have to take a cold shower. She walked into the bathroom and locked the door shut. Than the trouble started.
Ariel turned on the water and stepped in the bathtub. Her legs began to tingle. Suddenly, Ariel's legs gave away and she landed on the plastic.
"Ow…why did my..." Ariel looked at her legs, or where they should have been. In their place was an emerald green tail.
SUSPENSE! I know I'm WAY late, which is because my mind drew a blank. Like a piece of paper. I need to paint a picture on said paper for you. Wait, I;m getting WAY off track.
There is one thing that makes my story different, IT ACTUALLY HAS THE DISNEY MAGIC. I needed to add it in there, so that's was Scheherazade was introduced. All hail the writer of fate!
And yes, I meant to say tail instead of tale.
