AN: Sorry for the long wait...
BPOV:
I jolted up as I heard the phone ring, sloshing water over the side of the tub as I did, "Shit!" I quickly but carefully got up from the bath and grabbed a towel before pulling the plug. I jogged to the phone and pulled it out of the cradle,
"Hello?" my voice was slightly breathless as I answered,
"Hey, babe sorry I left so early, I had to sort some work stuff out," Riley's voice was hushed, but I guessed it was because he worked at a mechanic store and didn't want the guys to hear him,
"Oh, it's fine- I just got out the bath" I said as I began to collect ingredients for waffle mix, glancing at the clock I saw it was noon already.
"Okay, well I gotta go babe, boys are calling me." he said and I heard the faint sound of voices in the background,
"Bye baby, I love you."
"Love you too." I placed the phone back in it's cradle and went to get dressed; I pulled on my underwear-but no bra- and a pair of yoga pants and a tank top.
I walked back into the kitchen and started to prepare the waffle mix, turning on the CD player as I did, Marilyn Manson came on and I grinned before humming along to the tune.
I had just plugged the waffle iron in when I heard the faint sound of knocking on the door, I slowly walked to the door and looked through the peep-hole to see Alice and Rosalie, both stood in yoga pants and loose tops, I put the chain on the door before opening it,
"Can I help you ladies?" I asked, Rose rolled her eyes and Alice laughed,
"Bitch open the door-"
"We bought wine!" Rosalie added, waving the bottle of white in the air. I laughed and closed the door to undo the chain before re opening it so the girls could come in.
They followed me into the kitchen and Rose headed straight for the glasses, pulling out three big wine glasses before setting them on the table,
"Ooh! Waffles!" Alice squealed before trying to dash to the iron, I blocked her path before saying,
"Nu-uh, I'm the only one allowed to man the iron- Riley's orders" Alice pouted and went about collecting toppings for the waffles, putting them in the middle of the table,
"So, how's travelling?" I asked Rosalie as she sipped her wine and picked at a punnet of blueberries,
"Oh! It was amazing! We went to Brazil, Sweden, The UK- oh we went everywhere!" she gushed, grinning widely- it was good that Rose got to do this, after her still birth last year, she fell into a major depression and only travelling had brought her out of it.
I went on making waffles as we all chatted about our lives and such, it was nice to catch up as a trio, it seemed like it had been so long since were all together.
It was around 4pm when we decided to do something productive, the girls had brought their own clothes and makeup just in case we decided to go out, I had just got out the shower and walked into the bedroom to find them sat on the bed with their own towels on,
"Finally! We need to shower too you know," Alice complained before getting up and going into the bathroom. I rolled my eyes and went about putting my ( lacy) underwear on. I looked over at Rose to see her staring absently at her hands,
"You okay, Doll?" I asked her as I brushed my hair, her head slowly came up and I saw tears in her eyes,
"He would have been one next week..." she whispered, I dropped the brush and rushed to her side and pulled her into my arms just as she started bawling her eyes out,
"Shhh... It's okay, it's alright" I mumbled into her hair as she let it out, I knew it was hard in her, all she ever wanted to be was a mother, she was from a big family and she loved children.
I don't know how long she cried for but when she stopped she lifted her head off my shoulder and hugged me,
"Thank you Bella, I really needed that." she said softly before wiping her eyes, Alice opened the bathroom door and Rose glided past her and pushed Alice out before closing the door softly.
"I feel so much better!" Alice grinned before going about getting ready.
It took us over an hour to get ready, due to us all messing around, but it was fun so it didn't matter. I chose a pair of black high waist shorts that ended just under my bust a dark purple tank top with a kimono to go over the top with fishnet pantyhose and my thigh high Doc Martens, my makeup was subtle: winged eyeliner and dark purple lipstick with all my jewelry and a pair of round sunglasses; my hair was flowing down my back in natural curls,
Rose wore a flowing white dress that ended a couple inches above her knees with a pair of white wedge heels and her makeup was flawless: she had subtle eyeliner ringed eyes and pale pink lipstick with her hair braided over one shoulder and Alice wore a black and white checked skirt with a strappy top that had a sweetheart neckline with heeled Doc Martens, (courtesy of moi) and a cropped leather jacket, she kept her makeup minimal, only adding bright red lipstick and a lot of mascara.
We walked out the bedroom to see Riley, Jasper and Emmett sat on the sofa drinking beers, their heads turned slightly in our direction before doing a double take all at the same time, it was quite comical.
They all stood up and funnily enough, somehow their outfits seemed to match ours; Riley wore skinny jeans with a white wife beater and an unbuttoned black shirt with his boots; Jasper wore dark blue jeans with the hem rolled up, a black long sleeved shirt with braces and a pair of Doc Martens, Emmett had a pair of black slacks on with a white shirt and black dress shoes, we all looked like we were out of different eras, me and Riley being the mid 80's-early 90's grunge type of fashion, Alice and Jasper looked 70's punk and Emmett and Rosalie looked like a kind of 60's pin up/mafia couple.
We all decided to go out to a bar and let loose, calling a cab we went down to a bar called New Moon, it was new and had a nice theme to it, we got a table in the corner and bought a round of drinks and chatted for a while before I started to pull Riley out onto the dance floor, we danced and 'bumped and grinded' for a while before I needed to use the restroom, I pecked Riley on the cheek before shooing him back to the table and rushing to the toilet.
EPOV:
I had kept my distance over the past couple days but had still kept my eye on Bella. Now, I was currently watching her from across the bar, she looked beautiful on the dance floor, the way she moved...
I don't know how long she danced for but when she went to go to the bathroom, I made my move, following her to the bathroom, I waited outside.
When she came out I noticed a glazed look in her eyes as she saw me leaning on the wall,
"Hello, Bella."
