stinging sensation - 36

Hey i know i've been sucking at updating since i started back at school but it's a full time job trying to keep upright now, Im going away in 3 weeks for 10 days and i hope to post at least one more chapter after this before i go. I really hope you guys will stick with me and i'll try to write when i can because i love writing for you guys!

Peyton's tears had subsisted by the time she pulled up to the beach, Jason had tried to call her 7 times but she refused to pick u she was really pissed right now and just wasn't in the mood to forgive him.

"Hey soph." Peyton smile spotting her friend lounging on a beach towel.

"what's going on sexy." Sophia smiled back at her. "what's Jason got you crying about this time?" Sophia sighed seeing the redness in Peyton's eyes.

"he got his memory back last night, so this morning his obviously planing his next suicide mission."

"Obviously." Sophia rolled her eyes, she didn't like Jason anymore then he liked her.

"whatever i don't want to be talking about him right now, i'm here to have fun with you." Peyton smiled setting up her own little spot next to Sophia.

(Jason's pov)

I can't believe she fucking walked out on me in the middle of a conversation, i fucking hate when she fucking does that! she's not even picking up her damn phone like is she stupid Nick's gang are probably out there just waiting to get their nasty ass hands on her.

"she not picking up?" Celeb asked when Jason slammed the phone down on the counter.

"No." Jason snarled.

"Just give her some space these last few months have been hard on her with everything moving so fast. Peyton's was going to the beach right?"

"with Sophia." Jason spat.

"As long as Nick's gang hasn't totally gone off the rails they are not going to attack Peyton in a crowed beach, they might not even bother going after Peyton. She wasn't the one that killed Nick, just chill out." Celeb said trying to make Jason feel better but it didn't really help.

"I was a Jack ass." Jason sighed.

"Yeah you were, but she loves you man." Celeb said walking away.

"You look great Peyton, i thought you said you weren't going to work out anymore?" Sophia asked as the 2 walked over to the ice cream truck.

"I've decided that i might as well with all the free time i have."

"what would you like ladies?" The man in the ice cream truck asked.

"A bowl of french vanilla." Sophia answered him turning to Peyton.

"I'm ok I hate a big lunch before i came here." Peyton lied.

"Don't be stupid that was over 3 hours ago, she'll have some a heavenly hash on a cone please." Sophia ordered for Peyton.

The girls took Sophia car deciding they's go out to the south end mall, Peyton took a few licks of her ice cream before dumping it out her window on the 240 (highway).

"Girl now that you've lots weight working out your tits look so huge!" Sophia squealed checking out Peyton's body in a skin tight lavender dress.

"you think i should get it?" Peyton asked, when she looked in the mirror all she saw were areas on her body that needed to be fixed.

"hellz yeah and you should also get that silky v-line tank too that looked uber sexy Jason will be so jealous if you walk through the door wearing that." Sophia laughed evilly.

Peyton chuckled too shaking her head. "I'm already in a fight with him, i'm not looking for another one before it's resolved."

"even so, get it."

Peyton decided to get both the dress and top, plus a couple neon shorts she saw at the back of the store.

ON the drive back to Sophia's place she got an idea.

"We should go to a party tonight just the two of us."

Peyton started to shake her head.

"Oh come on pleeeeaaase, i know that there's a party at the college campus tonight, we haven't gone to a college party since you and Jason got ober serious."

"Fine, but we are not drinking and if i say were leaving we're leaving." Peyton lay down the rules.

"Yes!" Sophia shouted.

"Are you sure this is the right street?" Sophia asked driving down the center of campus.

"Yea that's what this handout says." Peyton said holding the paper up to the light. "we're getting close i hear the music."

Peyton had decided to wear her lacy black corset with a pair of flip flops and White jeans, and Sophia wore a navy blue knee height dress. Peyton had made sure to snag her phone from her car before they left it at the beach, Peyton knew she'd be coming back to the house late if at all so she shot Jason a quick text so he wouldn't worry. I'm not dead so stop driving Celeb crazy, I'm fine.

"Drinks." The guy at the door said passing Peyton and Sophia a drink.

Peyton set her's down while Sophia took a big gulp of hers.

"Sophia." Peyton slapped her friends arm.

"oww, it's just a sip." Peyton rolled her eyes walking further into the party.

The girl had a fun time, they danced for hours mingled with people it wasn't until around 4 in the morning that the party started to get shut down.

"That was sooooo much fun Pea, remind me why we never do this anymore?" Sophia asked wrapping her arm around Peyton's shoulder.

"Because we're under age and could get caught and sent to jail?" Peyton said climbing into the car.

"We'll all i know is when we go to college we are going to paartaay!" Sophia yelled making Peyton laugh.

"so where am i dropping you?" Sophia asked when they got closer to home.

"Jason's i don't want to leave this unresolved, and with my luck he's probably waiting up for me anyways."

"Call me later ok, i'll take you to pick up your car."

"kay thanks." Peyton said waving.

once inside the house Peyton quietly locked the door walking into the living room seeing that there was a light on.

"Hey." Peyton signed standing against the door way her gaze lay on Jason who was sitting in the chair by the window.

"I didn't think you'd be back so soon." Jason said looking away from the window to Peyton.

"Yeah we'll i wanted to see you, get things cleared up before they get worst."

Peyton and Jason were both pretty calm each one waiting to see how the other was going to react.

"you look nice." Jason said giving Peyton the once over.

"Thanks." Peyton said looking down at herself.

"I thought a lot about what you said to me, we keep having this same fight over and over and i don't want to fight about this anymore." Jason said standing up slowly making his way to where Peyton stood. "It's my job Peyton, this is what i do, i know neither of us are going to budge you've had a problem with what i do from the beginning, i refuse to lose you over this"

Peyton stood silent letting Jason talk.

"I talked to Celeb he said that they are able to wipe out the rest of Nick's gang without me, I was hopping i'd convince you to come away with me until the dangers gone. Just you and me alone for a few weeks with no talk of gangs and bombs, just us together, what do you think?"

Peyton wrapped her arms around Jason's neck kissing just below his ear.

"Sounds perfect."
