stinging sensation - 39 Part THE END This is the final chapter!

"It's been over a month Jason there's still no sign of her." Celeb said placing a hand on Jason shoulder.

"No, NO! Peyton is out there, i can feel it." Jason yelled getting off the couch.

Peyton disappeared over 41 days ago and Jason's gang and Jess's have been out looking every where trying to find her but it just wasn't happening, Jason was right before when his gang went to go finish off Nick's there was a member missing, Steve Macormick. He dropped off the grid and took Peyton with his and it was driving Jason crazy. He could be rapping her or worst her for all Jason knew maybe she was dead like everyone keeps saying. Jason wouldn't let himself believe that.

"Let's go out again." Jason said heading for the door but Celeb yanked him back.

"Jason one you're drunk and 2 Jess is out with his gang and they are searching the down town area."

"NO, NO we already checked there." Jason whined spinning around sending his fist flying into the drywall.

"So they are double checking." Rob said entering the room having heard the commotion.

"It's useless we need to widen the search." Jason said thinking out loud to himself.

Rob and Celeb looked at each other "Maybe it's time we called the police."

"Are you insane, how the hell is putting ourselves behind bars going to find Peyton any faster!"

"The police have dealt with this kind of things before, they have the money and the tools to find her." Celeb sighed.

"No, we're doing this on our own."

8 AND A HALF MONTHS MISSING.

"Can we call the police now?" Rob asked as the gang walked through their motel door.

The boys have been traveling around to town close to where Peyton had gone missing and there was still no sign of her and what little hope Jason had left of finding her was fading faster then the late winter sunset.

"We haven't found her by now, She probably dead." Jason said throwing his shoe across the room just barley missing Jess.

"Jason i know it's hard man but there is still a possibility she's out there."

"what makes you so damn sure."

Jess and Jason had been bickering back and fourth since they left 8 7 months ago moving to different towns all of them in close living arrangements all the time was starting to wear on all of them. Especially with the level of frustration already at an all time high.

A knock sounded at the motel door stopping the fight.

"Fuck." Rob muttered taking a step back from the door.

"What now?" Jason grumbled marching over pushing Rob out of the way only to freeze in his own foot steps.

"What is it?" Celeb wondered up behind Jason peeking over his shoulder.

the boys stared down at the door step to what seemed to have been a white blanket soaked with blood, Jason's mind raced with the worst ideas running through his head. Was Steve sending them Peyton's body parts? The bundle moved crying out causing everyone to take a quick step back. Jess bent down reading the blood cover note stapled to the blanket.

Jess reached out slowly picking up the light bundle pulling it to his body not paying attention to the blood that was now covering a part of his own shirt, turning to Jason He pushed off the make shift hood. "I think this belongs to you." Jess said holding up the bloody blanket covered baby to Jason.

Jason just started at the infant who looked like he came fresh from the delivery room.

"I don't understand." Jason muttered not taking the baby from Jess, instead he just stared at the baby like it was an unknown species.

"The note said that this was a token from your love, to remind you of her until you are reunited with her... 6 feet under."

Jason felt like he'd just been kicked in the stomach with a snow blower, This confirmed it Peyton was dead Steve had killed her. but not before his son was born.

"Get it away from me." Jason yelled to Jess walking to the other side of the room, tears of anger and sadness building in his eyes.

"Jason this is your child, i think Peyton would want-" "You don't know what the fuck Peyton would want!" Jason screamed interrupting Celeb.

"Shut it up!" Jason yelled storming over to Jess who was trying to rock the baby back and fourth.

"He's just a new born Jason calm down, He's probably hungry." Jess stopped before adding that he probably wanted his mom.

"Pack up we leave in an hour, there is no reason to stay here anymore. Well drop the thing off on the way home." Jason said walking out to the truck.

"What are we going to do?" Rob asked looking around the room at a loss on what to do.

"You heard him pack up boys, we're going home." Jess said walking over to the bathroom so he could clean up the baby.

The boys were only half way home and most of the car ride had been quiet except for the baby crying and making weird sounds, Jess has found a fuzzy blanket in the hotel room closet to bundle the baby up in for the long ride.

"You know Jase, you could keep the baby." Celeb said.

Jason laughed bitterly Keeping his eyes dead on the road, first chance he got he was dropping the baby off at the nearest shelter. "I'm not keeping it."

"Jason come one man at least look at him, he looks just like you. Is that what you are worried about that it's not yours? Because he is it's undeniable looking at him and besides quick math proves that it can't be steves." Celeb's questions were starting to make Jason cranky.

"Would you shut the fuck up Celeb!" When Jason looked at the baby he say Peyton's round cheeks and soft pink lips, why would he want to be reminded of what he lost.

The baby started crying again startled by all the shouting. "Damn." Jess muttered giving the baby some of the milk that was in the motel fridge, It wasn't what he needed on any level but it would have to do.

The rest of the drive was pretty quiet once The baby fell asleep and none of the boys said another word, a couple hours later they found themselves in front of the house baby still in hand.

2 Years later

After much nagging from Celeb and Jess and a weird ass dream about Peyton that we aren't even going to get into Jason decided on keeping little Carter, From the brief convo's Jason had listened in on Peyton talking about he knew that that was one of the names she'd always wanted to name her first born boy or girl. And if you're wondering Sophia was lying about the pregnancy, She just said it in hopes to keep Jason and Peyton a part permanently so she could have Jason all to herself, which never ever happened. Jason's been alone since Peyton he couldn't even go for a quick fuck every now and again it didn't feel right.

"Dwad." Carter called crawling into the room Jess and Celeb running in from somewhere out of Breath.

"Hey buddy." Jason smiled.

"There you are Carter we thought we lost you." Jess sighed then straightened up realizing Jason was in the room.

"Yeah great watching him guys." Jason said rolling his eyes, bending down to pick up his son. "I think it's time for bed anyways."

"No." Carter mutter through a yawn.

It was already 2AM, common Jason's a 19 almost 20 single dad living with other 19-20 year olds what did you expect?

After putting carter down Jason crawled into his bigger bed beside the smaller one he'd gotten for Carter when he grew to much for the basket they had him in when he was a baby. He fell asleep right away drifting off.

CRASH

Jason jumped out of bed having heard the sound of breaking glass echo through the house, seconds later Celeb, Rob, Connor and Jake came running into the room Guns and Bats in hand.

"Stay with Carter." Jason said taking Celeb's gun and Walking down stairs Rob followed with the others stayed with the amazingly still sleeping child.

"I think it came from the back room." Rob whispered keeping a safe distance behind Jason his gun raised as they walked quietly through the house.

When the entered the kitchen they stayed silent seeing a brick laying in the middle of the floor the broken glass from the side door completely shattered.

"Jason." A soft voice Gasped from behind the boys.

Jason spun around coming to face to face with a very bloody but very Alive Peyton.

"Peyton" Jason wasn't even sure if any sound escaped from his mouth as his arms reached out for her just in time to catch her falling body.

"What the hell is going on down here." Celeb said walking into the room standing behind Connor with a now wide awake Carter.

"Is that-" Celeb said in disbelief staring at the girl collapsed in Jason's arms, Blood covering them both as they stood in a field of broken glass.

"I think she's starting to wake up." Jess said Standing over Peyton.

"Celeb take Carter." Jason said handing his son over walking up to his bed.

After the shock of seeing Peyton died down Celeb called Jess who'd been in med school for 3 years before things went bad and we turned to- Never mind thats a different story. the point is when Jess got to the house he assessed that Peyton was fine she was just dealing with being physically drained, probably from escaping, loss of blood and hunger. After taking her to Jason's bed Jess hooked up a bag of meds he'd swapped from the hospital and preformed blood transfusions. The point is she'd make a full recovery psychically but mentally who the hell knows.

"Peyton?" Jason asked shyly walking over to her bending down.

"Jason?" Peyton burst into tears wrapping her arms around his neck, and he held her so tight no even a crow bar could get him off.

"I'M so sorry." Peyton crying apologizing for things that have been long since forgotten.

"Don't even say that."

Jason felt movement on his left side, he slightly turned seeing Carters baby blues staring up at him.

"Peyton, this is Carter... our son." Jason said lifting him up onto the bed, his Eyes staying on Peyton judging her reacting.

Peyton eyes wheeled as she looked up as Jason, "He's a boy." Peyton sobbed it wasn't like Steve told her the sex while he cut open her stomach, picking Carter up into her arms pulling him into a gentle hug Which Carter snuggled into, he knew who Peyton was.

"I'll never let you go." Jason whispered kissing Carter's head then moving to Peyton's lips.

"You'll never have to, ever again."

And Peyton only confirmed what Jason already knew. there was nothing more important then their family, to be together no matter what, nothing could stop them.
