PArgh, second to last chapter! I'm sorry I'm so late on updating. I think I might just finished this story today so I can post the co-authored story I'm writing with nightfury97 (Go check her out!). I'm really debating it... Anyways, please note that this is about three weeks after the final battle, because I want to attempt to make the story seem longer than a week.

Alexandria watched as Raph set his Nightwatcher helmet beside Winters'. She shivered when she saw the Shredder's mask. Alex felt someone touch her shoulder and she looked to see Leo. "Hi." She said softly. For some odd reason, she felt faint. Maybe the battle took more from Alex than she thought.
"Are you okay?" Leo asked.
Alex nodded. "Just a little faint." She said. "It's been my first real battle since I was in Miwa's body."
Leo frowned. "What song where you singing when I came home?" he asked. Alexandria smiled.
"The Blessed song." She said. "Originally, you sang it to me when I was mortally wounded. God took pity on us and allowed the song to heal me. Every time I hear it, I heal. Whether it was a paper cut or a broken bone, its healed." Leo looked thoughtful.
"What is it called?" He asked. Alex closed her hazel eyes.
"'Take Me Away by Globus'." She said. She opened her eyes and went to the second floor. She began to sing.
~Take me away from Time and Season.
Far, far away, we'll sing with reason.
Prepare a throne of stars above me.
As the world once known will leave me.
Take me upon a plateau.
Far, far away from fears and shadows.
Strengthen my heart in times of sorrow.
Light the way to bright tomorrows.
Answer our calls in desperate hours.
Shelter our falls from earthly powers.
Temper assaults with flame and furnace.
Bear us to a noble purpose.
Heaven hides nothing in its measure.
Mortal men blinded by its false treasure.
Formless and vanquished we shall travel.
Shield and Sword will guide our battle. ~
Her skin, which was a pale white color, returned to the normal tan. Alex looked less tired and her hair became silkier. She picked up a highlight and frowned. She could see the coloring come off. She felt someone watching her and she saw Leonardo looking at her.
"Alex, are you okay?" he asked. She nodded.
"I just need to get something." She said, getting her purse from her room. She got fifty from her wallet and skipped every other step. "Be back soon." She said, hugging him. She didn't see his eyes darken when she did that.
Alex went into the nearest store and saw what she was looking for. She grabbed the hair dye and went to the counter. The guy's eyes flickered to her chest and then back to her face. "That all toots?" he asked.
Alexandria narrowed her eyes. "Yeah. And don't call me toots." She said. She handed him the money, but when she got her change, he didn't let go of her hand. "Let me go!" she said.
The man smirked. "Now why would I do that toots?" he said. Alex felt her stomach disappear. She knew who this man was. Hun, leader of the Purple Dragons. If only she had some way out of this store quickly. As if an answer, her shell-cell rang.
"Hello?" she asked, looking at the man as he traced symbols in her hand.
"Alex, are you okay?" Leo asked. Alex smiled.
"I'm fine Leo. I'll be home soon." She said. The man stopped tracing her hand. "Maybe you can help me with my hair?" she asked in a pleading tone. There was a sigh on the other end.
"Why do I feel like something's wrong?" he asked. Alex flinched as the man's grip tightened.
"Nothing's wrong Leo." She said, her voice shaking. Leo huffed on the other end. "I'll be home soon." She hung up and looked at the man fearfully. "My boyfriend doesn't like people touching me." She said. The man's hand disappeared in a flash and Alex bolted for the door, almost forgetting her bag.
When she got to the lair, she was shaking like crazy. "Alex, are you okay?" Leo asked as she collapsed on the couch. She shuddered and sobbed into a pillow.
"I almost didn't make it out of there." She whimpered as Leo knelt beside her. "He almost got to me."
"Who Alex, who was it?" Leonardo asked. The 18 year old raised her head slowly.
"It was Hun. He almost got me." She whispered. "I didn't think he would not be in jail. I thought most of the P.D.s was in jail." She screwed her eyes shut as the tears came down. Leo ran his hand through her hair.
"It'll be okay." He whispered to her. "He won't get you while I'm alive." Alex wasn't sure if she should be happy he was comforting her or scared that he would end up having to run away soon. She looked in his almost black eyes and her own hazel eyes widened.
"Leo, you shouldn't be near me." She whispered. "The season…"
"I don't care about that. As long as you're okay." He said. She closed her eyes.
"I'll be fine Leo. It's you I'm worried about." Alexandria said. Leonardo winced. The animal inside him wanted her as his soul and mind already was with her own soul and mind. "Please, if you feel like you're going to do something, don't be afraid to move away."
"I can't promise anything." He muttered. Alex closed her eyes and sighed. Leo got up and went into the bathroom, looking in the mirror. He cussed when he saw how black his eyes were. He guessed he was going to spend the next two or three days in his room.
As he was walking out, he bumped into Raph. He tried not to snarl as Raph blinked. "Sorry Leo." He said. "Are you okay?" Leo shrugged.
"I don't know." Leo muttered lowly, trying not to pick a fight. Raph frowned. "I think it's best if I go to my room now."
Alex, meanwhile, was in her room, trying not to go and find Leonardo. She felt some type of… lust from her bondmate surprisingly enough. She heard his door close and she fell onto the bed. "Why is it so hard to ignore his feelings?" she asked softly. She sighed, knowing the answer.
She got up and slowly walked out her room and went to the next bedroom. She knocked on the door. "Go away." The voice groaned. Alex bit her lip, knowing that if she went through with her plan, there was no going back. Once again, she knocked. The door slid open and she slid into the room unnoticed.
Alexandria watched as Leo huffed and close the door. Alex silently hummed and Leo sat down on the bed. He put his head in his three fingered hands. "Leo." She said quietly. He didn't hear her.
"What am I going to do?" he mumbled. "We only just met, but I love her. This stupid mating season is going to ruin our only chance." Alex smiled softly.
"Or it could help us." She said. Leo looked up sharply. She knew she was risking a lot, but, as he just revealed, they loved each other. The only remains of brown in his eyes were little flecks now. "Do you really feel that way?"
"Ever since the dream, I've been wondering about you. Now that we've met, I can't get you out of my mind." Leo said, trying to look away from Alex. The last thing they needed was for him to lose control.
Alexandria slowly sat down beside Leo. "Like I've always said, you've always been my favorite turtle." She hesitantly took his right hand. "I'm not afraid if you lose control Leo. I know you'll never intentionally hurt me." Leonardo closed his eyes.
"But I am afraid that when I lose control, I will hurt you." He said. He felt her right hand on his left cheek as she kissed the other one. He shuddered and Alex sighed.
"You can drop the 'fearless leader act' Leo." She said. "I know what it's like and it's not easy." Leo flinched. He was broken inside, but he kept strong for his brothers and father. "Master Jiong helped me through my stage of being broken; now it's my turn to help you."
"Are you sure you want to help me?" Leo asked. Alex frowned.
"You are my Blessed, are you not?" she asked, leaning on him. "It's my job to help you." She closed her own eyes and rested her head on his shoulder. "Plus I would help you anyway." She felt Leo relax and she opened her eyes to see Leo's brown, basically black, eyes looking at her.
"Do you mean it Alexandria?" he whispered.
