He grabbed my shoulders and pull me away "GET OFF ME YOU PERVERT!" Kyo quickly got up his face was on fire.

I wanted to scream out "BAKA!" to him but what was the point.

He bump into one of the guys "Hey boss look what we got here."

I held my breath as the boss toke his sunglasses off .

"Ah let's see." he grabbed Kyo and pull him towards him. Kyo yelp he stumble and nearly fell.

I let out a growl.

"Hmm…wait where have I seen this face? Kyo Sohma ? Sagi was suppose to kill this guy. Dakerlia." he turn to one off the other guys "Kill him." he threw Kyo roughing into a tree. Dakerlia aim a gun at Kyo's back I gripped a nearby tree

'He's a cat he should be fine…don't need to risk everything.'

I look away I heard the shoot and the scream of pain but I couldn't do a thing. Maybe Yuki will help him with the pain after it's over. I could smell the blood.

The guys laugh and carry on what they were doing or planning.

"So anyway boss what are we going do about that vampire?"

"Heh we shoot and…" he walk over to Kyo and lift his arm. He smirked and let it go. "…and killed his little kitten."

"He will soon show himself I can sense him he's close . He wouldn't stand for this we had to get his little brother too. He's also a threat to us."

Suddenly a cell phone rang the boss picked it up "Uh-huh got it. Okay we will be there." he hang up and turn to his buddies. "We have to go now."

They laugh and got back into the truck and drove away.

I slowly got up and walked over to Kyo.

Kyo POV

I moan and slowly rose "What the…?"

"Hello Kyonkichi."

I looked up and growl at him "What the hell did you think you were doing? I've could have been killed…." I looked around.

'What the…I am suppose to be dead…but how?'

Ayame sigh "I don't know how…wait!" Ayame pull at my hair to the side.

His face slowly soften and his grip loosen on my hair.

I sigh than suddenly he tighten the grip and throw my body at a tree.

In a blink of an eye he was right in front of me. He roughly pull on my shirt collar he growl and slap me.

I place a hand over my cheek I couldn't say anything. He fell to the ground dragging me with him.

"Ayame?"

He looked like he was about to cry.

"I am sorry." He lay his head on my shoulder. "Super sorry." he pull me closer.

"Ayame?" I sigh I had no clue what he was sorry for: having me take a bullet for him, throwing me, slapping me, or whatever..

"It's okay Ayame." I wrap my arms around him I don't know why but I could feel the tears coming down my face as I look up to the sky. At the time I didn't know my life has change forever wither it was for the good or the bad I still have no clue.
