Pitch laughed, pulling Jack back against him and letting the bubbles cover their bodies. "You minx." He nuzzled his neck and lightly bit the skin.
Jack smiled, relaxing back against him. "I missed you, Pitch."
"Did you? How much?"
"I asked him to kill me. I told him that I would rather die than live without your love." He frowned and curled up against him.
"I'm glad he didn't. I wouldn't have been able to rescue you." He smiled and held Jack close, his eyes closed in pleasure.
"Me too." Jack nuzzled against his neck. "I love you."
"Roll over. Straddle me." The younger man did as he was told and flipped over to sit on top of his lover. Pitch wrapped his arms around Jack's waist, looking him in the eye. "I saw what he did to you. On the monitors in the building...I saw everything." Jack frowned and quickly looked away from him. "Don't look away from me. I only wanted you to know that. I saw what he was doing to you, and I wanted to kill him. These past couple days...I've been a violent, cruel, and abusive man."
"No. No you haven't." He shook his head.
"I have. I've cursed and thrown people up against walls. I even threatened your doctor."
"You were desperate."
"I was. All I could hear in my head was your voice. I was crazed. I still am." He leaned Jack back, licking and nibbling his collarbone.
"You are only a man in love. Nothing more and nothing less."
"Still. You would think I would have more control."
"I would have been the same were I in your place."
Pitch chuckled. "I know. I imagined you would be. Tooth didn't believe me."
"She has only ever seen the broken side of me. She has never seen the me who is in love with you."
"Are you still so possessive of me?"
Jack nodded, looking down at him. "I love you. How could I not be?"
"I felt the same when I saw him in you. I felt like an animal desperate to protect his mate. I wanted to rip his throat out. With my teeth, Jack."
"I wish you had." He gently kissed Pitch's forehead.
"Really? That would make me a cannibal."
"It would make you possessive."
"Will this be a good alternative?" He spread Jack wide and pushed up into him gently. Jack gasped with a slight wince, his grip on his lover's shoulders tightening. "Does it hurt? I can stop." He stopped his movements, pulling out.
"N-no." Jack shook his head quickly. "You feel so much better than him..."
"But it hurt you. I saw you wince."
"Then make the pain go away with your love. Replace him with you."
"But...I don't want to hurt you. I saw the video. I'm a little larger than he is."
"I don't care. Feeling your love makes it all worth it to me."
Pitch cupped Jack's cheek, rubbing the sharp cheekbone with his thumb. "You are still so adorable."
"Please, Pitch..." He leaned into the touch.
"What? What do you want?"
"I want you." Jack pressed their lips together.
"You have me, lover."
"I love you."
"I love you, my master. I'm yours to command."
"It will be few months...but you will learn to live without." Jack threw his arms around Pitch with a smile, and North chuckled. "It will be long road. Though you have someone willing to help."
"Of course." Pitch leaned back enough to kiss his lover deeply. "Is this what you want? A stupid question, but I'll ask anyway."
Jack nodded. "It might leave scars, but I just want to be free."
"We both do." Pitch smiled, his fingers ghosting over the cold metal. "When can we begin?"
"Surgery itself will take only few hours. Problem lies in fact that after six years, brain has become dependent on device. Like physical therapy for broken bones, you must slowly build up brain's strength again."
"I don't care. The sooner it's done, the better. We want to be free, I think. Would you agree, husband of mine?"
"If we remove too early though, we run risk of brain not being ready and possible death or coma."
Pitch sighed, rubbing a hand over his eyes. "Then when? I want to get this thing off of him."
The big man stroked his beard for a moment. "I say when Jack can go five days without device turned on and function like normal, then we can remove."
"Five days? My God, he can't even last a minute!"
"It will take time and much support."
"Are there any conditions we should keep? Heart rate, breathing rate, anything? Can we still...have relations when the machine is off?"
"There is no reason you cannot. Back up on table, boy." Jack pulled away from his lover and hopped back up. "Lay down so I can work on device."
"Careful with the merchandise." Pitch sat down next to the table, one large hand holding both of Jack's. "It's finally happening, love. We'll have that happily ever after we've always wanted."
Jack smiled up at him as he lay on the bed. "What are you doing, Doctor North?"
"We are going to start therapy now and time so you know how long you go each time." He opened up the device and looked up at the clock. "Are you ready?"
Pitch clutched Jack's hands and leaned in for a quick kiss. "Yes."
North carefully disconnected all of the wires, checking the time after they were disconnected. Jack gripped his lover's hand and stayed awake for far longer than he expected. After he finally passed out, North marked the time. "Seven minutes...fifty-three second."
Pitch sighed. "Alright. Let him wake up now."
"Not yet. I will assume you will be one to help him each time?"
"Of course. He only needs me now. We only need each other. Now wake him up, damn you!"
"Be patient, you fool! When you disconnect, make sure to do so by wires and not shut off button. And after he is out, leave him for five or so minutes so brain can work further."
"So I'm just supposed to leave him like this? He looks so...weak."
"That is exactly what you must do. It may be upsetting, but it must be done."
"But will he be able to wake up after sleeping for so long?"
"He will. The device makes sure he wakes up. But longer you keep it off the more you force brain to work on its own and get stronger."
Pitch nodded, rubbing Jack's forehead. "Can we start waking him up now?"
"Yes. You may reconnect them whenever you like."
Pitch reached forward and quickly reconnected the wires. He moved his hands back and stroked his love's face. "Darling? Wake up now."
Jack woke with a gasp. As soon as his eyes fell on Pitch, though, he relaxed, giving him a soft smile. "How long was I out?"
"Long enough for your first time." Pitch nuzzled his nose and kissed him gently. "We'll try again tomorrow."
North chuckled. "It was longer than I expected. But is good. Will be sooner you are better."
"Yes, but I would prefer not to push him too much." He cupped Jack's cheek, rubbing their foreheads together. "Was it scary for you?"
Jack shook his head and smiled up at Pitch. "I had you next to me. Of course I wasn't scared."
"Still, I know you hate not having control of it."
"It's worth it because I'm getting better now."
"I love you, my husband."
"And I love you."
"Jack...marry me for real."
The younger man nodded, stroking Pitch's cheek with a smile. "Yes."
"Yes? You'll do it?"
"I will."
Pitch stared at him with wide eyes. "R-really?"
"Why would I say no? I love you. You love me."
"Because you were hesitant before. He's still out there."
"You told me he's gone for good. I trust you."
"Then marry me today."
Jack shook his head. "When I am completely free. Once this thing is off, we can go right away."
"It's a date." Pitch smiled, leaning in to kiss him again.
"I can't wait." He smiled in return and happily nuzzled against him. "Take me home?"
"Happily." Pitch took Jack into his arms and held him gently. "We'll be back tomorrow."
The big man nodded, waving the two of them away. "I love you, Pitch." Jack leaned against him.
"I love you, Jack. With my whole heart." He carried his husband from the building, walking to their home.
"Funny. That's exactly how I feel about you."
"I'm glad of it. I would be very upset if you didn't."
"Do you think we could watch a movie tonight? I feel like just being close to you."
"Now, would this movie night include sharing a large bowl of popcorn with you?" Jack nodded. "Then I see no way I could refuse. I will get to feed you though, won't I?"
"Of course." He chuckled.
"And then after a few romantic movies..." Pitch leaned down, whispering naughty things in Jack's ear.
"That sounds like a date, my love." Jack smiled and kissed his lover's cheek.
"I look forward to it." He chuckled, holding Jack even closer.
Pitch reconnected the wires, holding Jack's head on his lap. "Come on, wakey wakey."
Blue eyes slowly blinked open, looking up at his lover with a small smile. "That was almost five days."
"It was. You're getting a lot better with this." Pitch chuckled, leaning down to kiss over Jack's eyelids.
"I'm trying. I want to get better. I want to be free. I want this thing off my head. I want to marry you."
"That's a lot of dreams you have." Pitch smiled, rubbing Jack's stomach with his fingertips.
"Those are not dreams." He rolled his eyes. "Those are soon-to-be realities."
"Whoa, someone's getting poetic." Pitch moved away enough to lay his body down on Jack's, his long arms folding under the man's head. "Would it be wrong of me to say that I'll miss that device a little?"
Jack immediately frowned. "Why would you ever say that?"
"I'll miss having you so dependent on me. Once this is off, you might realize that you don't want to be shackled to this old man anymore."
"Even without it...I will always need you to live. You are my air, Pitch. I need you to breathe."
Pitch smiled. "It seems I'm engaged to a poet. How impressive."
"No. You are engaged to simple me."
"When will you understand that you are anything but simple. Frustrating, adorable, sexy? Yes, most definitely. Simple?" He shook his head. "Not in the slightest."
"I am just me. It's nothing exciting. I am no poet or Shakespeare."
"You are to me. Your words do things to me. They seduce me better than any poetry."
"That's because you love me."
"Do I? I seem to have forgotten that little fact." Pitch smirked, licking the tip of Jack's nose.
"Oh? Then what am I doing here? I thought I was here to be with someone who loved me. I suppose I'll have to go elsewhere then." He started to roll away from him.
Pitch growled, pulling Jack back and straddling the slim hips with his legs so that he couldn't get away. "You sly minx. You could run, but then I'd have to chase you."
"It would be your own fault."
"Of course, but then you'd be the one punished. Would you like to know how?"
"Oh, do tell me."
"Well, there would be a little of this..." Long fingers ran up under Jack's shirt. "...and a little of this. And let's not forget this."
"That doesn't sound much like a...a punishment." He fought back a yawn.
"It is when you're tired." Pitch smiled, leaning down to nuzzle under Jack's chin.
Jack frowned a little. "I can't help it."
"Yes, yes." Pitch chuckled, taking his hands out from under the man's shirt.
"Sleep with me?" He curled against his lover.
"You're a little overdressed."
"Then you should help me with that."
Pitch smiled and lifted Jack's body up enough so that he could strip his clothes off. "Don't you think you could be nice and help me with mine?"
"But I am so very tired, my love..."
"Lazy." He shook his head, smiling as he stripped. He crawled under the sheets before pulling them over their bodies as he wrapped his arms around his lover. "How's this?"
"Heavenly." Jack smiled sleepily, melting against him. "I love you."
"I love you too." Pitch draped one long leg over his love's body, holding him possessively close as he closed his eyes.
"Surgery was success." North came out to the waiting room, looking straight at Pitch. "I told boy he had nothing to fear, but he did not believe me." He chuckled.
"Does he need me?" Pitch stood up, his leather jacket wrinkled from being held so tightly in anxious hands.
"Nurses are bandaging right now. He will be out for long while. I know you will not be happy...but he needs to stay for few weeks. Brain is tricky thing. Want to be positive he is alright before releasing."
"As long as he and I can have some...moments of privacy, then so be it. Whatever he needs."
"I will have to draw line there. He needs to recover. Will be extremely tired for weeks and will not be up to such activity."
"He won't be up for anything? Absolutely nothing?"
The big man shook his head. "Besides...is hospital. Things like that should be saved for home. Much more meaningful there."
"We're newlyweds, North, or close enough to it. You expect that we'll be able to resist each other that way?"
"Will be only on you. He will be too tired and sore to think of such things."
Pitch's eyes widened and he slapped a hand over his face. "Well, damn it." He groaned, dragging the hand away from his face. "How long will he be out for?"
"Only for few hours today." North chuckled, patting him on the back. "Is good practice, da? Be love, not lover."
"Easy for you to say, old man. You get to go home to your wife after this. I have to become acquainted with my hand for the next few weeks."
"Elina went through surgery too few years ago. I had to do same as you. Trust me. Is good practice."
"Practice for what? When he gets mad at me in the future and denies me access to his bed?"
"When things happen and loves need more than only sex." He opened the door for Pitch. "Should be finished by now."
Pitch walked in but stopped before the door closed. "Thank you...for fixing your mistake."
"I am not such bad man." He gave him an appreciative smile. "Only wanted to protect my family. I am sorry for what it did to him, though."
"I understand. I would have done the same in your position. I think if anyone threatened him, I would do anything to protect him."
"Should be in here." North led him to a room, letting him in and seeing the the nurses were just finishing bandaging the man's head.
"My God...he's still so beautiful." Pitch looked at his lover with a loving smile, every nerve in his body screaming for him to push the nurses out of the way and take their place.
"Will be much scarring, and hair may take long while to grow back...but he will heal fine."
"I am used to feeling only metal there. It will be a relief to actually feel skin. I'll settle for waiting for the hair to grow." He walked over to the bed, sitting on the side and stroking Jack's face.
The nurses finished with the bandaging and gently laid the man back on the bed. North checked all of Jack's vital signs, scribbling the results on his clipboard. "What are few scars when what is inside is more important?" He smiled knowingly.
"And on the outside." Pitch ran gentle fingertips along the bandages. "He's free. He's finally free."
"Thanks to you. You saved him. You righted my wrong."
"We saved each other."
"You are good together."
"What makes you think that?"
"I see it in way you look at each other."
"Does he look at me with love?" Pitch looked up at him, a hint of doubt in his golden eyes.
"With just as much as you do at him." North smiled, opening the door to leave. "Press red button if something happens bad. Press blue if you need me."
Pitch nodded, his focus once more on the man in the bed. He leaned down as soon as he heard the door close and pressed his lips to Jack's. "You delicious darling. I love you." He smiled when he heard a small blip on the heart monitor. "So you can hear me? Naughty minx."
When he finally stirred hours later, Jack looked around groggily, his eyes refusing to open completely. He felt an odd tug on his arm when he tried to move it, looking over and seeing all of the wires and tubes.
"It'll be best if you didn't rip a hole in your arm." Pitch sat up and leaning his head on Jack's stomach, his golden eyes tired. "Hello." After it finally clicked in his brain who it was, Jack gave him a small smile. His free hand slowly moved up to shakily stroke his lover's cheek. "You look good without that chunk of metal on your skull."
"I-it...it worked?" He spoke softly, hardly higher than a whisper.
"It did. You lost most of your hair in the process and gained some nasty scars, but it's gone."
Jack let out a sigh of relief, feeling a tear escape down the side of his face. "I'm free..."
"Yes, you are, my darling." Pitch leaned up and licked the tear away. "No more commands, no more shocks and static, no more metal detectors going off."
"I-I'm free..." More tears welled in his eyes, but he couldn't stop them.
Pitch smiled, grabbing a box of tissues. "Damn, you're just like a baby." Jack didn't answer, only gripping the man's shirt and crying harder. "There now, hush. How can I kiss you if your face is covered in tears and snot?"
"I...I can't help it." He bit his lip.
Pitch leaned down and took Jack's mouth in a deep kiss. He didn't let him go until he felt the tears stop. "There you go. You stopped."
Blue eyes looked up at him a little dizzily, but Jack gave him a watery smile. "I'm free."
"Yes, you are." He leaned down again, kissing Jack a little more gently. "Free to argue with me as much as you want. Free to say 'yes' and 'no' as you please. Free to marry me."
"Free to be me. Free to love you."
"Free to be loved." He smiled, his hands cupping Jack's face. "Free from fear of him."
"Free to be yours."
"Free to be kissed quite passionately." He took Jack's mouth in another deep kiss, his hands holding Jack's face close.
"Love...you..." he managed to breathe out between kisses.
"No talking. Just this." Pitch swooped in again, his actions becoming desperate.
"Pitch...can't breathe..." Jack began to worry when his head started to feel dizzy again.
Pitch pulled away, breathlessly turning away. "S-sorry."
Jack gave him a small smile. "Love you."
"I guess I've made my feelings clear." He chuckled, still looking away.
"Sleep with me?"
"A double-sided question. Both choices not very good for me."
"Why can't you lie down with me?"
"Because then I'll want to do other things."
"Pitch...please." Jack frowned.
He sighed, hanging his head. "Why do you have to be so damn adorable?"
"Because I love you."
"Because you're going to kill me." He sighed and laid down beside his lover.
"I don't mean to..."
"I know. You always tell me so."
"It's only because I love you."
"And you'll definitely make it up to me once we're home again." He sighed, nuzzling against Jack's neck.
"I will." He sighed happily and let his eyes close.
"Jack...don't go to sleep yet. Talk to me a little."
"About what, love?" He nuzzled against his lover as best he could.
"Anything. What did you think about when you were asleep?"
"I didn't think about anything. I can't dream, remember?"
"So you didn't think of me? I know I thought of you. All those hours you were in that room...I wanted to grab you and run far away."
"My mind was only full of darkness. I saw and heard nothing."
"I'm glad you were at peace. Someone had to be."
"I am not so sure I would call it 'peace.' Though it is nice to know that you worried for me." He smiled softly.
"You bet your ass I worried. Never knew I smoked until today."
"Y-you smoked?"
"Two whole packs. I just stood outside, lighting each one, took a puff and then put it out. I couldn't stay still long enough to actually enjoy it."
Jack frowned. "No more. Don't anymore..."
"Already bossy." Pitch smiled, pulling him closer. "I don't think I'll take it up. They tasted like crap."
"No more..." He buried his nose against Pitch's neck.
"What's this? Such hatred for some measly sticks of tobacco."
"They're disgusting...And they hide your smell and your taste."
"Do I smell or taste different to you?" Pitch cupped Jack's cheek, kissing him softly.
"You do. I can smell it on you. I don't like it."
"I can go take a shower and change my clothes. It will involve you letting me go."
Jack shook his head, burrowing closer. "Wait until I'm asleep again."
"I think you'll miss me then. I think you'll find that you're suddenly a lot colder with me gone, even for a moment."
"But I want you to smell like you again..." He frowned slightly.
"It's a tough choice. Think about it." Pitch moved down, kissing and nibbling the man's neck. Jack didn't answer, only hugging closer to him. "I'm waiting for your answer, Jack. What do you want from me?"
"Stay."
"Then don't complain." He sighed, burrowing his head against Jack's neck.
"Don't smoke anymore and I won't have to complain."
"Don't give me a reason to and I won't."
"I won't."
"Better not, or I'm going to smoke three packs just to piss you off."
"Please don't..."
Pitch looked up at him, golden eyes meeting blue. "Alright. No more."
"Thank you." Jack gave him a gentle kiss.
"In exchange, I get to have a beer once in awhile. I, uh...kinda started drinking too."
He frowned again. "Why did you start all of these bad habits? It was only surgery."
"Because I was worried, damn it! I thought...I might lose you, and it scared me."
"I don't want you to drink, Pitch. I don't want you to smoke. I want you to just be normal you again."
"I'm still me. Nothing has changed. Call it a 'spur of the moment' thing that ends in that moment."
"I want it to end now."
"Consider it ended."
"Thank you."
"I can't promise that I won't have a beer or two if you upset me."
"I don't plan on upsetting you."
"We'll see, you frustrating creature."
"I love you. I never want to upset you again."
Pitch sighed, nuzzling against Jack's chest. "I'll remember that, frustrating creature."
"I love...you." He mumbled, letting his eyes close again and his bandaged head falling back to rest on the extra plush pillow.
"I love you too." Pitch let him rest and held him close.
Jack fell back on the bed with a happy sigh. "I'm finally home..."
"And you look good." Pitch leaned against the doorframe, smiling at him. "I like seeing you in my bed."
He rolled his eyes. "Because with a deformed looking head, I totally look good. Besides...you said that completely wrong. It is not your bed."
"You do look good, deformed head and all." He pulled his shirt over his head and dropped it to the side. "My apologies. Our bed."
"Thank you. That's exactly what it is. Our bed." He smiled.
"And, if I'm not mistaken, you did promise me something."
"I did?" Jack nervously pulled his beanie down further over his bald head.
"You did. Everything off, love. Time to make up for lost time."
"But I just got home. Can't we...warm up with a bath first or something?" He blushed.
"You're stalling. To a man who has waited weeks for you, stalling is not a good idea." He slipped his pants and boxers off, standing naked in front of his lover.
"I...I don't want to yet." He looked down.
"Why not? Are you finally repulsed by this old man?"
Jack nervously fidgeted with the edge of his beanie. "You should be the one who's repulsed by me."
"And why should I be repulsed?"
"Just look at me! I'm bald and missing chunks from my head and scarred. How can you possibly not be disgusted?"
Pitch reached forward and snatched the beanie from Jack's head. "I'm looking, and all I feel is a strong sense of attraction. I want to kiss that head as I make love to the body."
"H-how? I'm gross..."
"Not to me. When I look at you, I only see the man I love and desire passionately. I see the man I fought so hard for. I see the man who risked so much to gain his freedom to be with me."
"I...r-really...?" Jack started to tear up, looking up at him in disbelief.
Pitch pulled Jack's head down so he could kiss over the angry red scars. Gently, he licked over the obvious lines, sending out his love through his mouth. "Can't you feel it? Do you still doubt me?"
"No...I love you."
"Clothes off, lover. Let me see what I've been missing." Jack sat up and slowly stripped his clothes off with a blush, tossing them off to the side. Pitch looked his lover over, his golden eyes taking in every detail. "I will let you have your bath, but then...I'm not sure i'll be able to resist you after that."
"Maybe you can...'not resist' me while we're in the bath..."
"Well now, it seems my lover is a naughty one. Would you like me to 'not resist' you in the bath?"
"I think I would like that very much."
"How delicious." Pitch quickly scooped Jack into his arms and carried him into the bathroom. He turned the water on, pouring a generous amount of violet-scented bubble bath in. "Get in, lover." Jack stepped into the warm, bubbly tub, suddenly freezing once he was sitting down and staring at the water with wide eyes. "What's wrong?" Pitch leaned down and kissed him deeply.
"I just realized something..."
"What, my dearest?"
"I don't have to be afraid of water anymore." With an almost child-like giggle, he suddenly slipped under the water, submerging his entire head.
"Hey!" Pitch pulled him up again, laughing as he brushed the water from his lover's eyes. "Try not to suddenly drown yourself, please."
Jack blushed. "Sorry. I just...I haven't been able to take a bath worry-free for seven years. It's been so long that even the idea of it is just...unbelievable."
Pitch chuckled, pouring handfuls of water over Jack's head. "You are too adorable sometimes."
He smiled. "Am I so adorable that you refuse to kiss me?"
"Have I been refusing? I wasn't aware."
"You stopped kissing me."
"Oops, my apologies." Pitch cupped the back of Jack's neck and pulled him in for a deep kiss. His tongue slipped in, tangling with the other man's. "Better?"
"Much. Don't stop." Jack's fingers dove into his lover's hair, holding him close into another kiss and pulling him into the tub on top of him.
Pitch laughed, holding Jack close as water spilled over the side of the tub. "Careful with the merchandise, lover. Don't want to break anything important."
"Nothing that won't heal in time. Especially with tender, loving care." He gave his lover a sly smile.
Pitch jumped when he felt a wandering hand under the water. "You little minx. Keep your hands to yourself or else." He leaned down and gently bit Jack's neck.
"Or else what?"
"I'll sleep on the couch." He licked over the bite.
"Well, that's a shame." He grabbed Pitch's hand away and gripped it in his own. "Forgive me?" Jack moved to lean against his shoulder, giving him the pleading, adorable look that always made him cave in.
Pitch peeked out at him with one golden eye before sighing with a smile. "Oh, alright. You're forgiven, my love." He pulled Jack into his lap and happily nuzzled into his neck.
"You know, the scars aren't that bad." Pitch leaned back against the pillows, stroking his fingertips over Jack's head.
"You surely have to be lying. I've seen them myself."
"You're biased. You don't like the way you look even when you're perfect."
"And you're biased as well. You think I'm perfect even when I'm far from it."
"Guess I can't argue with you there. I can't remember a time when I looked at you and thought you ugly."
"When you love you do not see their faults."
"You always point mine out. Ah, but I knew that would happen. Getting that thing off made you realize what kind of a man you're stuck with."
"But your faults only make me love you more." He smiled up at him, stroking Pitch's cheek. "I do not want perfect. I want you and all of your imperfections."
"Imperfections? I have imperfections, do I?" He flipped Jack onto his back, his own larger body covering him. Pitch nibbled on the fragile collarbone as his fingers ghosted over Jack's side. "What imperfections?"
"The bridge of your nose is abnormally prominent. Your teeth are ever so slightly crooked. Your eyebrows are practically non-existent. Your feet tend to be on the smelly side rather soon after showering. Not to mention that you embody nearly all the seven sins." He chuckled, smiling fondly up at his lover.
"Well, that was rather quick and specific. I think my feelings are hurt." Pitch frowned, standing up and walking to the bathroom.
"But I love every one of those things, Pitch. They make you you. I don't want someone perfect. I want someone perfect for me."
"An abnormally prominent bridge, slightly crooked teeth, non-existent eyebrows, and smelly feet are perfect for you?" Pitch looked over his shoulder at Jack, an eyebrow quirked.
Jack nodded. "They're all a part of the man I love. I told you I love you because of your imperfections. I just spent six years being controlled by a man who forced me to be nothing but a perfect little sex toy and a perfect servant. I don't want a single thing in my life to ever be perfect again! You're different and beautiful and kind and loving and wonderful. You may not be perfect in the eyes of the rest of the world, but you were made for me."
Pitch turned around and leaned against the door frame with his arms crossed. "I think that is quite possibly the longest speech you've given me since we met."
"And I meant every word of it." He held a pillow tight in his arms, peaking out over the edge at his lover.
"You're blushing behind that pillow, aren't you?"
"M-maybe..." He could feel his cheeks growing warmer despite his internal protests.
"Show me." Golden eyes looked at Jack intently, the strong gaze piercing. Jack slowly pulled the pillow away from his face, showing his bright red cheeks to his lover. "Why are you blushing so prettily like that?"
"Because of everything I just admitted to you."
"Yes, you did say some very delicious things. But of course, you do have to tempt me back into your bed."
"Is my blush not tempting enough already?"
"Depends. How far down has that blush spread?"
"You'll have to come over and see for yourself."
"No, no, no. Show me."
Jack shook his head. "I have to surprise you somehow, don't I?"
"Jack...Show. Me." Jack's blush only darkened as he slowly pulled the pillow away. Pitch slowly looked his lover over, his eyes following the blush downwards. "It seems to go on forever."
The younger man quickly pulled the pillow back to hide himself. "Now would you come back over here and hold me instead of taking joy in my embarrassment?"
"I do not take joy in your embarrassment. I take joy in the fact that you love me so much." He uncrossed his arms, using his shoulder to push himself off the frame. "It embarrasses you to make such confessions, yet you love me enough to make them. Rather loudly, I might add."
"Would you just get over here and hold me so I can go to sleep? I miss you."
Pitch sighed, smiling at him. "Alright, alright. I know when I'm defeated." He walked over to the bed and took Jack in his arms. "Why is it you're still so cute even though you think I have so many flaws?"
"Because I love you despite your flaws." He yawned softly, curling against his lover with a smile.
"And I love you, Jack. Always." He kissed Jack's forehead and wrapped himself around the smaller man.
"Forever." Jack let his eyes close and drifted into a peaceful sleep.
"Sleep, my love. When you awaken, we will make you your dream." Pitch smiled, joining his lover in sleep.
Hope you guys enjoyed it! Sorry for the insanely long wait for this last chapter. In all honesty I seriously thought I had already posted it and so didn't think about it until I got an email saying someone started following the story. I was confused as to why someone would follow a story that's already finished but then I checked and yeah...sorry again! Reviews are fantabulous and are usually great inspiration for lazy and easily distracted people like me to get off their bums and actually write again :)
