A/N: Sorry everybody for this really late update. I didn't know how to proceed and I had a lot of other new ideas in my way. Well, here it is! Hope you guys like it! And thank you all for the reviews!

"Hyah! Grr! Ha!" Young Gohan was attempting to land a punch on his father. If he wanted to become a great fighter, he'd have to measure up to his father's level.

"Come on Gohan! I know you're better than that!" Goku grinned at his son's attempts. Gohan, who was currently in the air, flew down to the grass and sat down. He breathed in heavily and panted.

"You move... {pant} too fast for {pant} me."

"But you sure eat at the same pace as me". His father's reply set a smile on Gohan's face. He stood up and flew back into the air, determined to give it his all in his spar. Flying to a high altitude, Gohan then flew down with great velocity, slicing through the air. Just as he reached his father, there was a great tickle at his stomach. He stopped, abruptly, and looked in the direction where his house was. Being miles away, it was hard for him to protect his mother from danger so he always sensed for anything dangerous near her. Goku was surprised by his son's sudden halt. He followed Gohan's gaze. What was happening?

"Gohan?" Gohan snapped out of his trance and he whipped his head around to face his father.

"Dad! I think somebody is trying to attack Mom!" Upon hearing this, Goku became very alert. Somebody? Attack? Chi-Chi?!

"How do you know?" asked the eager fighter.

"I sensed their power level! They're very close to her! What if th-" Gohan was cut off by his father's light chuckle. Gohan became angered. Was this some kind of joke for his father?! "Why are you laughing?! Don't you love Mom?!" Goku blinked at his son's expression. His power level also seemed to rise a little.

'He sure is something' , thought Goku.

"Relax Gohan! Nobody is out to get your mom! If not then I would have- Oh hey Piccolo!" Just as Goku was speaking, the green Namekian showed up. He saluted both Son males.

"What is this nonsense I hear about 'attacking'" he asked, wondering what they arguing about.

"Piccolo, do you agree that nobody would attack any of us, especially Chi-Chi?" asked Goku. Piccolo sweat dropped at the question. Chi-Chi was quite intimidating when she became angry, despite her size and gender. And she also argues a lot. Who wouldn't attack her? But she also had a mind of her own, though it is said to attract m- "Piccolo?".

"Eh?! What?! What are you staring at?!" said a flustered Piccolo. He wasn't thinking about his friend's wife, right? Noooo... {Ahehe XD}

"Geez Piccolo! Don't get worked up over a mere question!"

"We're suppose to be sparring! You wife is fine, maybe cooking a fine dinner for me.. I mean us! ... uh I mean you gu-" Thankfully, Goku interrupted him.

"See Gohan! I told you! Besides, wouldn't you think that Trunks would have told us about such a fate? He wouldn't want Chi-Chi to get hurt in the future! Right?"

"Well... I suppose you're right about that. Besi-"

"Buuuut the future will change though. Like how I'll make sure that you and your mom will have... I think I felt something!" exclaimed Goku. Gohan quickly flew towards the direction his house was. Goku and Piccolo nodded at each other and blocked Gohan's way.

"Wha- What are you guys doing?! Mom needs help! I think I feel her ki getting weaker! Move!" But Goku and Piccolo refused to move.

"Gohan, your mother can take care of herself. If it's too late, we can always use the dragon ba-"

"Don't say dragon balls! What if something prevents us from using them?! Then she'll be gone forever! Piccolo do something!" Piccolo sadly shook his head. Goku had a point in what he had said. Gohan became enraged. "Move!" Neither of the fighters moved. "I said MOVE!" Gohan's ki became higher and then he started to rapidly punch at his father and former teacher. Both of them smirked as they began to dodge the punches. Their little trick had worked to get Gohan into a fighting mood. But Goku didn't really pay attention to what Gohan had said. Little did he know about the upcoming enemy that not even Mirai Trunks knew about.

A/N: Short chapter. Not really relevant to the plot but it adds on. I did this to keep the story going. The next on will be more towards our wonderful Chi-Chi. There won't be any Chi-Chi X Piccolo because that's weird and not possible. I only did that to tease. Sorry about that XD Till the next one! You guys are awesome for staying tuned! Thumbs-up!
