A/N: Hello my lovely readers. It has been almost a year since I have updated this story! WOOOOW! Forgive me for taking so long on this story. Most of you probably have forgotten about it. Ha! But I do thank all my followers. The recent followers have motivated me even more to finish up this chapter.

So just a little summary of what's going on (had to reread the chapters myself, haha!). Chi-Chi hates seeing her son and Goku going off to train every minute. Lonely dinners are not fun.

One day she meets this mysterious, nice man at the market. Raiden, right? He helps her with groceries and hits on her, yeah. She finally summons the courage to tell Goku, about her incident, at night but he falls asleep on her. Knowing her and the anger issues, she runs off and encounters Raiden again. She spills out her frustration and then invites him to her house. And not in that way, if you know what I mean.

And then we left off with Goku, Gohan and Piccolo training, pretending that Chi-Chi was in danger to anger Gohan. And Raiden holds a grudge against Goku. Little do they know... (foreshadowing here)

Okay, I wrote way too much here than I should've. Now then, enjoy this long chapter. Later on, I will polish this story because the previous chapters were crappy. Ouch that hurt.

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN DRAGON BALL, DRAGON BALL Z, OR ANYTHING ASSOCIATED. Thanks Toriyama-san!

"Goku..." Hate rang in the mention of the name. Raiden continued to look at the picture of Goku and Chi-Chi, overlooking Gohan. He felt his blood boil, an eager craving for revenge on his enemy. 'He must pay for what he did to me'. His eyes then shifted towards the image of the woman. "Ehhh, excuse me Chi-Chi-san?"

"Yes?"

"I was wondering who that man in the picture is."

"Oh! That's my husband, Goku! He is just wonderful!" smiled the raven haired woman.

"Where is he?"

"Oh?" Chi-Chi didn't expect to face such a question. Where was her husband? He was out training, leaving her all by herself in the house to do all the work. It always came to this whenever somebody asked of her husband's whereabouts. Of course, he needed to train to fight the next threat but could he at least manage to cut some time.

Raiden could hear it in her voice with the simple "Oh?" He knew he hit the spot. "Etto... Chi-Chi-san?" Her thoughts vanished as she remembered where and with who she was.

"Oh, my husband? Where is he? Oh, he's just out training, like any normal husband would do. Leave his wife in the kitchen because that's where she belongs!" Raiden sensed the anger and sarcasm in her voice. She sounded quite upset with Goku.

'Even better, although she seems bipolar', he thought. "Don't you wish he would be more considerate? How dare he leave such a beautiful woman out alone in the middle of the forest." He began to walk towards her.

Chi-Chi was left speechless. Should she run away? Was it okay to let him say that? Her face began to heat up. Her legs wouldn't budge. Damn these woman instincts. "I bet he doesn't say that to you often. You're turning red. It really suits you." Raiden had a point. Goku rarely said that to her but deep down, she knew he loved her without a doubt, right?

"H-He loves m-"

"You seem insecure. Are you sure?" This time, she didn't answer him. She wasn't so sure anymore. Where was she right now? In her house. With who? Another man who was starting to flatter her. Did she like the compliments? Without a doubt but she just couldn't accept it. She suddenly boiled with some anger as he spoke to her in that way. Who was he to tell her those things?! Chi-Chi lifted up her hand, ready to hit him.

"How dare you say that! Who are you to speak to me in that way?!" Her anger vanished almost immediately as his finger was placed over her lips.

"Feisty one aren't we? It's such a shame, really. For Goku to have such precious, loyal wife when he just takes off and leaves her for training. If I were him, I'd find a way to stay by my wife's side all the time." Was he referring to her? No, he couldn't have, right? She was a married woman after all. Raiden took a step closer to her, and held her hand. She looked vulnerable. "I'd help you with the chores and take you out from time to time. Something romantic, you've surely not experienced before with him."

Chi-Chi tried to move her hand away but it wouldn't budge. It was like she was under a sort of spell as soon as she looked into those violet eyes. Words wouldn't come out of her mouth. Was it some type of magic? She then realized that his eye color was different from before. They weren't always that beautiful shade of violet? Although it did compliment him. Wait, what are these thoughts? Chi-Chi tried to push them aside but she couldn't. They were starting to take over her mind. All she could think about was that man. Was this some sort of trickery? She really didn't want him in her head.

The room had gotten darker. Chi-Chi only noticed until after there was gray smoke covering the entire area. The thoughts were somehow blocking the reality away from her for a while. But now, only two words came to mind: Kitchen and food. The smoke was too thick for her to see through. She began to cough and struggled to find her way through. Where was Raiden? Did he not notice the smoke like her? She moved around to look for him, hoping he would be alright.

'Ugh, how stupid am I! I can't believe I forgot about the stove!' She berated herself.

"Ano... excuse me! Are you Chi-Chi?" asked a new voice. Chi-Chi saw a small figure in the distance but she couldn't tell who it was with all the smoke.

"Yes I am, but who are you?" She spoke out. Another voice also spoke in unison with her. It sounded child-like and high pitched. She looked around to find the people who were talking. She faintly saw the figure of a young girl standing not far from her. Chi-Chi began to make her way to the figure, getting a better look each time she got closer. She froze when she saw the face of the little girl.

The little girl wore pink boots and gloves, aqua colored socks and a pink helmet with a blade on top. She had an aqua colored cape draped over her shoulders. The girl also wore a purple armor set, quite revealing. Chi-Chi froze at the sight of her past, child self. But how was this possible? Who was the other person talking to her? It suddenly hit her when she heard the boy talk about her father looking for her.

It was undeniable when she saw the shadow of the boy with crazy, spiky hair and a tail. Chi-Chi smiled as she saw the child version of her husband and self riding on the kinton, nimbus cloud.

'Goku is his name, right?' For some reason, she was uncertain about the name. The duo began to fade away each time she seemed to think about the name. Chi-Chi tried to follow them but she ended up in a blank room. She was no longer in her foggy, kitchen room. How did this happen? More important, where was she? Another figure, very distant had appeared. 'Maybe they know what this place is', she thought.

"Chotto matte! Wait a minute!" she yelled. The same boy she saw earlier turned to look at her. He waved and began to walk towards her. What was his name again?! Chi-Chi couldn't seem to remember. But why? He was so important to him. She could feel it whenever she looked at him.

"Hello, umm... Are you a girl or a boy? Wait, let me check!"

"Eh?! No! I am a woman! I just wanted to ask you if you happen to know where we are?"

"Ohh! Hmm... I'm not sure myself. I was by the apple trees, on a date with Chi-Chi. Before we started to spar, I ended up here."

"Chi-Chi?"

"Yeah, daughter of the Ox King!"

Confusion hit the woman as she heard those words. How was that possible? She was standing right before him.

"But I'm Chi-Chi! The Ox King is my father."

"What? But Chi-Chi is small, like me. You must be confused!"

"I bet you're the confused one here. What's your name?"

"My name is..." Before he could say his name, a bright light surrounded the whole area. It was much too bright to see through it.

"Little boy? Where are you?" Several grunts and thuds were heard instead and suddenly, Chi-Chi found herself inside a ring. Was this a martial arts tournament?

"Umm... Anonymous?" A man shook her arm. She blinked and looked at him.

"Are you talking to me?"

"Yes, you entered with the name 'Anonymous'." Chi-Chi couldn't recall saying that or even entering any tournament but she decided to go with the flow.

"Oh... right!"

"Get ready, your next match is up." As the man left, the woman sighed and looked at herself in a mirror. She blinked several times and couldn't believe what she saw. She looked much younger than before and her attire was different.

"What is this?!" A tap on the shoulder broke her surprise. It was a small, bald guy with an orange gi. He looked familiar.

"Hey, sorry about my friend. He can be such a dope at times. I bet your beauty shocked him that he doesn't remember you."

"Your friend?"

"Oh, excuse me for not explaining. My friend is Goku."

"Goku-san?" She remembered the name but she couldn't make out who it was.

"Umm... yeah. Goku. Ya know, the jerk who forgot about you and who you were. He made you so angry."

"O-Ohh! Right!" Chi-Chi began to think, trying to recall any moment like this. The bald guy sweat-dropped and sighed.

"Sorry for interrupting you. You must be overwhelmed with all the fights."

"Oh, not at all! Thank you for coming to me!" She offered him a smile, to which the guy blushed.

"Not a problem! See you later!" The short guy ran off to his next fight.

"Anonymous!" Chi-Chi turned as she heard her code name. "Your opponent is already in the ring!"

"Right! On my way!" She ran over to the ring.

'This is all strange. I'm not even sure how I got here. Heck, I don't even remember where I came from before all this transportation started', thought the troubled young lady as she entered the ring. All she was certain of was her love for martial arts and her family roots.

"And begin!" The opponent was a big, muscular man. He looked strong but Chi-Chi knew better than to judge people by their looks. Getting into position, she began to charge at him when suddenly, everything went bright again.

The next thing she knew, she was standing in a huge ring with a crowd around it. It seemed to look like the last match. She made it all the way?

"Umm... Are you ready to start?" asked the announcer man. The black-haired girl quickly looked at him and nodded. All this commotion was distracting, she could hardly keep up. "And... start!"

She took position and was shocked when she saw her opponent. It was a guy with familiar, crazy, spiky hair. His gi looked similar to the bald guy she had met earlier. Could this be his friend? Something about this guy made her feel uneasy.

"I'll be sure to win so I can find out your name!" His voice! It sounded so familiar yet she couldn't remember who he was. His words were also confusing her. They both jumped into the air and she began to attack. Punching left and right, she found it had to hit the guy. He moved fast. "I truly am sorry I cannot remember you."

"Wait, is it possible that you are Goku-san?" The name had a nice ring to it when she said it and it felt right.

"Umm... yeah. Don't you remember? Well, that makes two of us!" He proceeded in dodging her punches. The black-haired girl then began to attack with side kicks.

"So you forgot about who I am?"

"Y-yeah... and I really wish you would tell me your name." Goku dodged each attack as if he were doing something easy.

"Oh, my name? I have no idea why I'm entered as anonymous but my name is Chi-..." The ground began to shake ferociously and the whole crowd panicked. Everything was falling into smithereens.

Chi-Chi found it difficult to stay balanced on her feet, despite her ability. The ring broke in half and a hole had suddenly appeared in the center. Powerful gusts of wind pushed her closer to the hole each minute.

"Chi!" The voice belonged to Goku. It almost sounded natural to hear him say her nickname. "Hang in there!"

"Goku-san!" Chi-Chi felt her feet slip and she was dragged to the edge of the hole. She tried to hold tightly and pull herself out but the force of the wind and the trembling ground made it difficult for her. "S-Someone help!"

A pair of strong arms held her, preventing her from falling any deeper. She saw spiky hair and a muscular figure. As everything became clear, she saw the face of the familiar man. "R-Raiden-san! How did you find me!" For some reason, she managed to remember Raiden's name and how he looked like.

"You think I'd let you die? Please, do not wander off like that again. I can't imagine living without you." He placed her down and looked into her eyes. She felt like this man was somehow important to her. But she also felt this way when she had looked at Goku... Goku!

Everything had calmed down and the dust was starting to clear out. "Goku-san! Are you okay?"

"Hai! I am!" The dust cleared out and everybody seemed to be safe. Goku was safely on the ring.

"Sorry for this odd interruption folks. It seemed to have been a storm. But now that it is over, let us resume to the match", announced the man with the mic. "Goku is still with us, standing safely on the ring."

He looked over to Chi-Chi, who was unfortunately out of the ring. "Ohhh, unfortunately for Anonymous, she is out of the ring... and it looks like we have our winner!"

"Huh? But there was a storm! She didn't have chance to fight me long enough!"

"It's fine. I don't mind it. As for my name, it is Chi-Chi, daughter of the Ox King." Goku looked very surprised as he heard the name.

"You're the Ox King's daughter?"

"That's right! And I was waiting for you to come back and fulfill your promise of marrying me..." She blinked as the words came out by themselves. She couldn't remember meeting Goku in the past or having heard that promise. She never had any intention of saying that.

"Oh, that's right. Heh, I thought marriage was a type of food, but a promise is a promise." He kneeled on his knee and reached for her hand. Chi-Chi couldn't help but blush and feel her heart pound. Somehow, this all felt right. But she also felt like this was some sort of déjà vu. A blur surrounded them and Raiden appeared.

"Raiden-san?"

"Chi-Chi, did you forget who I am?"

"Etto... I only know of your name but I feel like I know you better. I also feel that way about Goku."

Raiden frowned and gritted his teeth. "I... am your husband."

Both Goku and Chi-Chi were shocked to hear it.

"Chi... Is this true? Why did you remind me of the promise if you're already married?"

"W-What? But I know I am not married." The black haired girl was suddenly hit with a wave of memory. She remembered about her childhood, she remembered about Goku, she remembered about the promise. "I am not married. I remember now. I waited for Goku to return one day so that we would get married. Raiden is not my husband."

Raiden's face turned dark as he heard her mention her memories. He suddenly stuck his arm out and placed it on her head. A light had started to surround it as well as Chi-Chi's head. "I let these things get out of hand. You weren't even suppose to travel back into time." He tightened his grip around her head. She let out a small shout of pain. "But I'll make sure you forget it all. I'll make sure you never remember who Goku is or anybody associated with him."

The young Goku looked at him in anger. "Let her go!"

"Sorry for disrupting your timeline, boy. I'll fix this all up just how it was. I don't mean to destroy you now so that you'll never exist in the future. I'll make sure to see you suffer in your future, my present time." He vanished, along with Chi-Chi.

"That's it Gohan! You've done well today!" The present time. Goku, Piccolo and Gohan were all worn out from their intense training.

"But it's still not enough to defeat the androids! I still can't believe you made that stuff up about Mom in danger."

"Ahehe, it was the only way to get you worked up."

Piccolo was standing at the side and had his eyes closed. His ear seemed to twitch and he looked out into the distance. He clenched his fist and opened his eyes. Goku and Gohan also felt it. They all felt a great amount of energy that suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"C-Could it be an android?!" asked Gohan as he looked up at his father.

"No... Trunks assured us it would be quite a while before the androids appeared. This is something else. It's coming from one being", answered the namekian.

Goku's face darkened a bit as he realized from which direction the energy was coming from. He quickly ascended into the air and looked at the other two. "We have no time to waste." The others understood and immediately followed behind.

The trio landed on front of the Son family's house. It all seemed quiet and normal. Maybe a little too quiet.

"Where is it? I felt the energy coming from here. It disappeared." Goku began to search around the house.

"Or perhaps the owner masked their power." Piccolo descended onto the ground and folded his arms. Where could their target be?

"O-Outside! Look!" exclaimed Gohan. They all ran outside and saw an unfamiliar man. It was now certain that he was responsible for the great energy they felt.

"Well, well. Look who we have here. The famous Goku. Oh and it looks like the namekian is here too."

"What do you want?" asked Goku in a serious tone.

"Me? Well, I already have what I wanted but there is still something else I wish to have."

"Wait, where's Mom?" asked Gohan as he recalled not seeing her in the house.

"Oh, who is this brat?"

"Leave my son alone!"

"Oh my. The little boy is looking for his mother? Could it be this beauty?"

To everyone's shock, a young lady came out from behind the man.

"Mom?!" The black haired girl looked up to the boy and smiled.

"Oh, I'm sorry. You must have mistaken me for some one else. I don't have any children."

"Chi..." Goku looked at her in surprise. She looked much younger, like back when they got married.

She looked at him as he mentioned her nickname and a small blush appeared on her cheeks. "H-How do you know my name?" She acted differently too.

"Chi-Chi, don't tell me you forgot who I am."

"I'm sorry. I don't know who you are. I don't know any of you."

"Chi... it's me, Son Goku! Your husband!" She stared at him in shock. Goku felt hopeful that this struck her

"No you're not! My husband is Raiden!" Her heart felt uneasy as she said it. It was almost like that didn't sound right. She huddled closer to Raiden, the man next to her.

"Mom! No!" The young teen's hair turned a familiar yellow and his hair stood up. Gohan ran up to her but only to be punched back by Raiden. It was such force that he was knocked out of his Super Saiyan form.

Chi-Chi closed her eyes as the boy returned, only to be punched back again and again. It hurt her to see him get hurt and she felt the need to go soothe him but why? Why was that when she didn't know them? "Raiden, stop! Y-You're hurting him!"

"Hmph, fine. Only because you say so." He leaned in close to her face and kissed her cheek. It felt strange to be kissed by him. Goku clenched his fist as he saw his wife with another man. It made him angry to just see her near him.

"Leave her alone!" he shouted.

"You're asking me to leave my wife alone?"

"We both know she's not your wife." Raiden frowned at his reaction, not what he was expecting. "She'll always be mine."

"Well now she belongs to me."

"Oh, I don't think you heard me correctly. She'll always be mine. Always. Wanna know why? Because I'll do whatever it takes to have her by my side again. And I guarantee you that I always keep my word."

Gohan was on the ground, struggling to get up. He couldn't believe what had just happened. His mother, the one who feeds him, who takes care of him, who forces him to study, doesn't know who he is. The boy grunted in pain as he attempted to stand up. A pair of soft, delicate arms served as a support for him. He looked up at her in great wonder.

Does she really not know who he is or was it all an act? Maybe it was just another part of training? But his mother looked younger than she did when he left her. Something was definitely wrong here.

"I-I'm terribly sorry for my husband. He never acts so rough." It was like the mother instincts were still there and she began to check him for any injuries. "I should wash your scrapes with some warm water and then disinfect them." She suddenly realized that she didn't know this boy. But she felt the urge to look over him. "Oh... I'm sorry", she spoke in a low voice.

"No, we're sorry. We failed to sense you in any danger and now these are the consequences. But don't worry because we'll change everything back to normal." Tears formed their way to her eyes. She was moved by what he said but it didn't really make sense to her.

"My, my. You guys are all causing my wife some great despair. Just look at her, tears in her eyes."

"You've caused her despair!" shouted Gohan as he angrily looked at Raiden.

"No, I actually did her a favor. She won't have to eat countless dinners alone. She won't have to do all the house work alone. She won't be left behind in the house because others have to train. We'll live happily in peace, and have children of our own. Chi-Chi honey, come here."

Chi-Chi quietly made her way over to her "husband". She felt sorry for the rest, for not having remembered them. But she was happy that Raiden was there for her. He turned to face her and smiled.

"You want children of our own, right?" She simply nodded and gave a small blush. Raiden then leaned in as if to kiss her but he was met with a blow. Goku suddenly stood behind Chi-Chi and placed his hands on her shoulders.

"Don't go kissing my wife." His touch made her skin feel warm but it also made her heart beat quicker.

"Don't get in the way or I'll take that boy and pound the daylight out of him." Goku suddenly looked at his son and took his hands off of her. He sadly looked into her eyes. Her eyes looked the same yet they looked at him in a different way.

Raiden instantly stood by her side again and Goku frowned. There were just so many things wrong with that picture. It isn't meant to be. "We're leaving honey", spoke the other man as he turned to leave.

"I'll be sure to win this fight Chi."

"Like always", whispered the girl softly. Her cheeks reddened as the words came out on their own. Raiden didn't seem to notice it for he had started walking away. But just these words gave the great hero a great amount of hope. He smiled at her and nodded and watched as she walked away too. But the amount of hope she gave him strengthened his already strong desire to win.

"Like always."

A/N: And that's a wrap! This is the longest chapter as of now. I apologize for any OOCness and for any crappiness. Please do leave me reviews and tell me what you think! Merci beaucoup!
