Hey wow! Guess what? Story isn't dead just yet this is just a shorter version of the chapter which i'm still slightly debating on whether or not i'm going to continue. Because really I look back and dang I was a big nerd haha Anyways sorry for the lack of activity lemme know if you think this is worth continuing!
You had already learned so much about your new alien friend, it was almost a shame when he started asking about your culture. You saw how his face contorted when you explained the hemospectrum and the nature of your hostile planet. Of course the hemospectrum really didn't affect you too much being of royal blood nor did you find it in your heart to care about the lower castes too much, you knew who you were.
[Eridan] "So basically, the higher on the hempsectrum you are the colder your body temperature is."
You had steered the conversation towards biology for the sake of keeping him as a friend because really.. You needed one you didn't scare away or burden with your problems. He seemed interested listening to everything from explaining why trolls were nocturnal to collection day and heat season. It wasn't soon after you ran out of things to talk about that he spoke up.
[Dave] "Sounds brutal, here this outta warm you up 'sides it sounds like you need it way more than I do."
You take the glass he had poured for himself and sniffed at it- oh dear god it smelled terrible but out of politeness you took a sip after seeing him grab the bottle and take a swig. How bad could it taste?

Your first taste of this human alcohol made you gag as it burnt you throat, it was absolutely terrible and you couldn't help but cough as your eyes watered. After yo regained the ability to speak you looked at him almost betrayed.
[Eridan] "Wwhat the hell wwas that? It tastes terrible!"
[Dave] "What? This? It's called vodka don't you have some weird alien equivalent?"
The initial burning sensation had been replace with a somewhat pleasant warm feeling in your chest you really didn't understand what the hell that stuff was but you knew you shouldn't drink too much of it.
[Eridan] "No.. I don't think so, if wwe do I've nevver had it."
