Last chapter showed you what happened at that strange forest where Taiki and Akari narrowly escaped death from an Invess Digimon when looking for Henry Wong. At the same time Taiki acquired two strange objects that enabled him to transform into a samurai-themed "Armored Fighter" and went on to defeat that Digimon after briefly encountering the mysterious girl that resembled Akari.

In this chapter, you will get to see more of Taiki in his "Armored Fighter" guise as he gets in to a conflict with Ryouma Mogami and Team Baron.

As Akari leaves, the Digimon saw her and thrashes a huge container, causing it to hit some debris and struck Akari, knocking her out, and seeing that she is in danger, Taiki distracted the Invess Digimon until it decides to go after him, and there he led the creature away and head to another open area, where he noticed that he still has the device that Henry dropped, and looked at it, sensing it to resemble a belt buckle and instinctively placed it in front of his waist, where a metallic belt strap is formed.

"Whoa! It formed in to a belt!"

By then the Invess Byakko-Mon arrived and is roaring, which Taiki took a steel pipe and attacked his pursuer, but unfortunately it did little to stop the attacker and he was thrashed and throttled, busting his lip open and bled before being thrown to the ground, which he willed himself to get up, but then something happened when the fruit he picked up from the mysterious forest began to change shape, changing into a Lockseed that resembled an orange, which surprised the teen and glances at it.

"Eh? It became a Lockseed?!"

Looking at the Lockseed and the belt, he slowly deduced that the Orange Lockseed would fit in on the belt, and opens the Lockseed, which resulted in a voice being spoken.

Orange Lockseed: "ORANGE..."

However, the Invess Byakko-Mon did a clothesline that knocked Taiki down, then lifted the teen and threw him away, and the teen hits the ground hard, but reacting fast, he places the Lockseed onto the belt before locking it, resulting in another voice coming from the Lockseed.

Orange Lockseed: "LOCK ON..."

A portal opened like a zipper and a huge orange appeared from the sky, slowly descending downward and Taiki is baffled as to what to do next, but then noticed the "cutting blade" attached to the belt, and instinctively presses it, resulting in the blade "cutting" the Lockseed attached, and the front portion of the Lockseed was sliced, and another voice spoke coming from the Orange Lockseed.

Orange Lockseed: "ORANGE ARMS...HANAICHI ON STAGE!"

Taiki is surprised as blue armor encased his whole body except for the head and the huge orange-like object dropped down and affixed itself covering his entire his head, and there the orange-like object started to "separate", as it formed the helmet and the outer armor, and now Taiki is fully-armored, which he resembled an armored samurai with a pair of weapons, a huge samurai sword that resembled a slice of orange and a musou saber that has a gun trigger and nozzle on it.

"Wow...I'm an armor...like a samurai...!"

By then the Invess Byakko-Mon charged towards its prey and Taiki uses the armor to defend himself, managing to fight back using the samurai sword and kept the attacker at bay, but the attacker was quite fierce and fought back, disarming Taiki and he is forced to bring out the Musou Saber and fought back, managing to get a brief upper hand until noticing the trigger and nozzle attached and realized that the Musou Saber can be used as a gun, and immediately fired, which he slowly gained an advantage as the Invess Digimon staggered back from the blast.

However, the Invess Digimon fired back with its mouth blast and sends Taiki back away, and as he gets up, he noticed someone from the second floor, and he is taken by surprise as that someone appeared to be a blond-haired girl in white clothing, and she resembled Akari Hinomoto, except that her right eye is glowing red, and there she gives Taiki a cryptic warning which he couldn't figure out what it meant.

"Listen..."

"Huh?"

"If you choose this path..."

"Akari...?"

"Your fate will lead to an inevitable path..."

"What are you...?"

"And you'll be forced to fight until the bitter end..."

"..."

As the Invess Digimon is ready to descend down, Taiki is still confused as he thinks that the strange woman is Akari and answered her cryptic words by stating that he will protect her, and there she sees his answer and intention as she picked up the Musou Saber and removed the orange Lockseed from Taiki's metallic belt and attaches it on the Musou Saber before giving him the samurai sword, and there Taiki notices that the two weapons can be connected which he did, and this forms a naginata weapon and he went after the Invess Digimon.

By locking the Orange Lockseed into the samurai sword and Musou Saber that formed the Naginata, Taiki then went on and execute the Naginata Musou Slicer, wherein he fires energy slashes from the Musou Saber end at the enemy, trapping it in an orange sphere. Afterwards, Taiki charges the samurai sword's end with energy before slashing the enemy with it. This resulted in the Invess Digimon exploding and destroying it, thus the danger has passed, but then he noticed that the mysterious girl that resembled Akari is gone, and the real Akari, who recovered, arrived and check on Taiki, seeing him de-transforming after removing the Orange Lockseed.

"Taiki!"

"Akari...?"

"Are you okay?"

"..."

"Taiki...?"

"..."

"Hey, Taiki!"

"Huh? Ah, Akari..I'm okay!"

Both teens are baffled at what just happened and are wondering how this would affect them from this point onward, while at the same time wondered what has happened to Henry, and are considering heading for the area where they first saw the portal.

As both teens leave the scene and head back to the city, Taiki and Akari are now pondering on what they should do next, and Taiki keeps on staring at her, still wondering if the mysterious girl in white dress is Akari or not, and as she noticed Taiki staring at her, she asked what is wrong, which he fumbled and claims that he is okay, but he suggests that they should keep what happened earlier a secret, which she appeared reluctant yet he convinces her so that they wouldn't want to cause a panic while at the same time figure out what happened to Henry.

"Akari..."

"Yes...?"

"Can I ask you a favor?"

"What is it?"

"What we saw just now...let's keep it a secret for now."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes...we don't want to cause a panic...until we re-establish our connections with our partner Digimons...we should keep this to ourselves..."

"Okay..."

Ch. 12: Remtach: Chīmu Baon tai Chīmu Gaimu

A few days later, the scene shifts inside the mysterious forest, where it shows that several persons in what appeared to be "radiation-like suits" are surrounding several trees, and are picking up the fruits there, in which each fruits that were plucked from the trees are instantly turned into Lockseeds and are placed in baskets, and the person appeared to be collecting them, and one of them are using an instrument ins canning the trees, but then an unexpected situation occurred as several Invess Digimon appeared and attacked some of the men in the research suits, killing some of them on the spot and triggered a panic among the men collecting the Lockseeds.

"WWWAAAHHH!"

"AN INVESS DIGIMON!"

"RUN!"

"HELP HQ! WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!"

"TAKE THE LOCKSEEDS WITH YOU!"

"SOMEONE SAVE ME!"

"HELP!"

"SAVE ME!"

As the men in research suits were running for their lives, the mysterious white-colored Armored Fighter, who resembled a samurai, appeared and began slashing at the approaching Invess Digimon, keeping them back and the men in research suits got time to back away as the Armored Fighter continued to slash them and managed to keep them back far enough for them to distance themselves, and they appeared to focus their attention on their attacker, who turn out to be the enigmatic Zangetsu.

As the Invess Digimons began to charge towards their target, Zangetsu did a spinning vertical sword slash and uses it with pure force and the Invess Digimons roared before they exploded, and the men in research team approached Zangetsu, thanking him for his help, yet Zangetsu just nodded and glances at the forest to see if there are any other attackers coming their way, and the men in research suits resumed their activities with Zangetsu watching, making sure that the men won't be interrupted for the time being.

Two days later, after attending school, Taiki visited Kyoto Hospital to check on Yuu, seeing that his friend was partially recovered yet still sedated while Tagiru is given clearance to leave the hospital yet seeing that he needed to confide to someone, Taiki told Tagiru about his experience at the forest and in turn Tagiru told his senpai to be wary as he felt that there is something strange about the Invess Games and felt that the forest that they went through appeared to be connected yet both agreed not to expose it just yet to prevent mass panic and to figure out if the connections are true or not.

"...I see..."

"Yeah..."

"Taiki, you'd better be careful..."

"I will...you too."

"What about the Invess Games that you showed me?"

"Akari, Zenjirou and me will keep an eye for now...we don't want to cause some panic at this time..."

"You're right...but what about..."

"I'll deal with it..."

As the two teens continued their discussion, a nurse came and told the two to take their talking elsewhere so that Yuu won't be disturbed, and Taiki and Tagiru nodded as they leave the hospital and assured to one another to keep in touch with info they get should either one of them resume their secret investigation.

The following day, the scene shifts to the streets where Ryouma Mogami and Team Baron are dancing on the stage that previously belonged to Team Gaim, and fans flocked to see them dance admiring and appreciating their dancing, though some watchers who attended wished to see Team Gaim and not Baron, but then the dance performance was interrupted when a rival team, who turn out to be Raid Wild, led by Masaru Daimon, came and stopped the music before confronting the other team. This led to a verbal face-off between Ryouma and Masaru.

"Hey..."

"What do you want?"

"How about quitting that lame dancing and give us that stage..."

"Hmph! You sure talk big..."

"Yeah...got a problem?"

"You'd better have the power to back up your big mouth..."

"Why you...! Let's duel!"

"You're on..."

As Ryouma and Masaru stared at each other, DJ Sagara appeared on a huge screen near the stage and made an announcement that an Invess Game is about to take place and the stage that Team Baron is occupying would be the prize, and both teams agreed to the terms before they started their game. As audiences began to flock, both teams Baronand Raid Wild got off the stage and assembled in a vacant park where both the participants brought out their Lockseeds, with Masaru surprised as Ryouma brought out three of them while Masaru only brought out one.

"Let's start."

"Huh? Three Lockseeds?"

"Got a problem? You're free to back out..."

"What? No way! I'll take you on!"

"Better be prepared...you'll end up crying..."

"As if!"

"Now...get him!"

"Get them!"

Insulted by Ryouma's insult, Masaru took the challenge and had his Invess Digimon fight three of his opponent's Invess Digimons, and as the fight is underway, fans and audience are cheering on though it is evident that Masaru is going to lose because he is simply outnumbered and it shows as the lone Invess Digimon is being walloped and beaten before being sent back to its dimension, and the match is over, and there Ryouma mocked Masaru for being weak, and told him to leave, which Raid Wild reluctantly did so.

However, a pair of teens are overheard complaining that the stage was lively when Team Gaim were the owners before Team Baron took it, but after being seen by Team Baron the teens left abruptly, and Ren sighed that the audience should get over the fact that Team Baron won and Team Gaim is history, yet Ryouma felt that he hasn't "surpassed" Taiki and decided that he should give Team Gaim a "last chance" to reclaim their "throne" if they feel that they deserve to own the stage, and with that, Team Baron departed towards an unspecified location.

Later, Taiki and Akari went to the place where they first discovered the portal and to their surprises, the area is still there but the portal is closed, and they noticed that the ground appeared to be "shaven" as the grasses and plants appeared to have been "weeded out", and as they pondered how this happened, Taiki brought out the Lock Driver and showed it to her, and when she tries it on, it did not fastened around her waist, but when Taiki did, it fastened around his waist, which both are baffled.

"Huh? What?"

"What's wrong, Akari?"

"Why won't it it work?"

"Let me try..."

"Hey! Why did it affixed on you and not me?"

"I know...let's head for Drupers..."

"Why?"

"I know someone who can tell us..."

By then Taiki realized that there is one person who might know something and suggested that they head for Drupers, and both teens leave the seen, not noticing that someone is watching and filming them. The person then picked up his cellphone and called someone, reporting to the other caller that Taiki and akari are seen leaving the area where the "portal" was last scene, and that Taiki is seen wearing the Lock Driver, in which he is told to let them go for now and return to HQ, and the unidentified watcher boards his car and leaves.

At Drupers, Taiki and Akari meet up with Sid, who explained to them about the Lock Driver's function as well as telling them that the Lock Driver "locks on" to the first person who first placed it on their waist, thus it bcame clear on why Taiki is the only one who could use it and Akari couldn't, and there Sid commented that Henry is "a handful" as he got the "best deal" yet he left it to others to deal with, while at the same time he mentioned that Team Gaim lost to Team Baron and that Team Gaim now has no Lockseeds to use and brought out his huge "tablet" to show a display of Lockseeds to sell.

"Hmm...I see..."

"Do you know?"

"What is that thing?"

"Listen well, kids... this is the Lock Driver...a devise that acts as the transformation belt. It's the newest device to help you in the Invess Games. To transform, the user opens the lock on the Lockseed, which causes an "opening" and something to materialize above them and an Armor Part that corresponds to the Lockseed used to appear from it. Afterwards, the user attaches the Lockseed onto the belt's Drive Bay and closes the lock to secure it into the Lock On Arm . Finally, the user presses the Cutting Blade knife down, which cuts open the Lockseed itself, causing the Armor Part to fall on top of the user's head and the Driver to announce the Arms granted, along with its corresponding phrase."

"I see...so that's what... wait...why did it only work on me?"

"That's one of the functions...when the first person puts it on...that person becomes its main user...that way, it'll avoid theft..."

"No fair!"

"That's how they made it, missy...by the way, I heard that one of your lady friends in your team got in the face of Team Baron...and lost. I think I can help ypu get a hint of comeback...here's how..."

Sid told Taiki and Akari that in order to compete against Team Baron, they need at least a "Class B" Lockseed and showed it to them, with a rather stiff price, and while Akari is against it, Taiki reluctantly accepted and bought a Strawberry Lockseed (Ichigo) and had to drag an upset Akari out of the snack bar while Sid is counting the money he collected.

Outside, at a nearby park, Taiki was calming Akari down over why he had to buy a Lockseed from sid knowing that it was quite expensive, but he had to convince her that he had to in order for their team to have a fighting chance, though Akari had no intentions to continue joining the Invess Games further and would rather just stick to the dancing practice on their university, but then they got a call from TK, and there he told Taiki and Akari the situation at their hangout.

"Taiki!"

"TK!"

"We got a problem!"

"What?"

"Team Baron's here!"

"Eh?"

"And he issued a challenge!"

"Okay, eavesdrop on them...see what they want then relay it on us!"

Taiki is somewhat alarmed over what Ryouma is doing, and wondered what changed him knowing that Ryouma learned his lesson and yet he is acting like a power-hungry seeker, whose MO is like before, interest in the strong and disdain for the weak, nevertheless the two teens leave immediately and head for their hangout to see what they can do.

At the hangout where Team Gaim frequented, the rest of Team Gaim are having a face-off with Team Baron, and Ryouma Mogami is facing off with Rika in a verbal spat as he gives the opposing side a wager, in which he is willing to give back the "open stage" in exchange for an Invess Game duel, and in addition to the "Open Stage", Ryouma is also willing to put the Pineapple Lockseed on the line, but told Rika that if Team Gaim loses, the team must disband, which earned the ire of Rika and her team.

"You want us to disband if we lose?"

"Yes."

"That's bullshit!"

"That's how the world works...and you want to reclaim your stage? This is your chance! And I'm even willing to give you an extra!"

"But..."

"So go out and get a Lockseed...unless you want to concede..."

"..."

"So weak...like a mouse that you are..."

Ryouma then mocked Rika if they have the means to "defend their stage", in which Team Gaim went silent, as they have no spare Lockseed to use, until Taiki and Akari arrived, and there Taiki had a face-off with Ryouma, asking him what made him act like this though the Team Baron leader evaded the subject and told him to stay out of the way, but Taiki did not budge and stated that he will fight for Team Gaim on their behalf, showing the Strawberry Lockseed and challenged him.

Ryouma was a bit surprised but accepted as the two teams went outside and several minutes later assembled at the side of the "open stage" where a "holographic referee" appeared while DJ Sagara appeared on a huge screen to announce the battle and what are the stakes in the fight, and in a few minutes the battle commences as Ryouma summoned three "low-class Invess Digimon", using the Sunflower Lockseed (Himawari), while Taiki uses the Strawberry Lockseed to summon a high class Invess Digimon - the Shikamon.

The fight appeared to be on Team Gaim's side, as the Shikamon, human-sized, made short work on the three low-class Invess Digimon, and three of Team Baron's members - Katsuharu, Teruo and Teppei, hid behind a lamp post and used their slingshot to disarm Taiki, and though they succeeded, they were too late as the Shikamon defeated the low-class Invess Digimons, and Team Gaim won, but as the slingshot blow disarmed Taiki, this causes the Shikamon to go out of control and began to attack anyone at sight, and Ryouma, despite his recent attitude, still possess some honorable code of conduct and immediately realized what his three members did and approached the trio and grabbed them by their collars.

"You imbeciles!"

"Uh..."

"Um..."

"Ahh..."

"Are you trying to make me look like a coward?"

"Um...well..."

"You see..."

"Ehe-he-he..."

Soon the streets was thrown in to panic as bystanders and watchers scrambled to get away from the scene, causing a stampede and both Team Gaim and Baron are at loss as to what to do next.

Hope you like this chapter, as this picked up where the last chapter left off, and right now the battle between Gaim and Baron ended in a bittersweet result, and once again the rivalry between Taiki and Ryouma has been renewed, in a rather mysterious way. Right now trouble is in the way as the two former Digimon General and Hunter are trying to figure out what to do after the Invess Digimon that Taiki summoned went out of control, and without Shoutmon, Taiki will have to find a way to save the day.
