Last chapter showed you the results of the Invess Game between Team Baron and Team Gaim, in which Akari and her friends won and reclaim their "open stage", but because of Team Baron's cheating by its three members, a new situation has arisen and now Taiki has to do something or lives would be lost in this mess.

In this chapter, you will get to see what the result of the "deal" that Taiki got after defeating Team Baron, and here he will make use of the Pineapple Lockseed that will help in containing the problem.

Taiki and Akari arrived, and there Taiki had a face-off with Ryouma, asking him what made him act like this though the Team Baron leader evaded the subject and told him to stay out of the way, but Taiki did not budge and stated that he will fight for Team Gaim on their behalf, showing the Strawberry Lockseed and challenged him.

Ryouma was a bit surprised but accepted as the two teams went outside and several minutes later assembled at the side of the "open stage" where a "holographic referee" appeared while DJ Sagara appeared on a huge screen to announce the battle and what are the stakes in the fight, and in a few minutes the battle commences as Ryouma summoned three "low-class Invess Digimon", using the Sunflower Lockseed (Himawari), while Taiki uses the Strawberry Lockseed to summon a high class Invess Digimon - the Shikamon.

The fight appeared to be on Team Gaim's side, as the Shikamon, human-sized, made short work on the three low-class Invess Digimon, and three of Team Baron's members - Katsuharu, Teruo and Teppei, hid behind a lamp post and used their slingshot to disarm Taiki, and though they succeeded, they were too late as the Shikamon defeated the low-class Invess Digimon, and Team Gaim won, but as the slingshot blow disarmed Taiki, this causes the Shikamon to go out of control and began to attack anyone at sight, and Ryouma, despite his recent attitude, still posses some honorable code of conduct and immediately realized what his three members did and approached the trio and grabbed them by their collars.

"You imbeciles!"

"Uh..."

"Um..."

"Ahh..."

"Are you trying to make me look like a coward?"

"Um...well..."

"You see..."

"Ehe-he-he..."

Soon the streets was thrown in to panic as bystanders and watchers scrambled to get away from the scene, causing a stampede and both Team Gaim and Baron are at loss as to what to do next.

Ch. 13: Painappuru no Chikara

As the out-of-control Digimon began to attack civilians, nearby security guards approached and attempted to fight off the Digimon but were promptly tossed aside, and Taiki decided to try and restore order by trying to get to the discarded Lock Seed, but the panicking civilians were going to several directions, kicking the Lock Seed away and Taki tried to get to it but the civilians were getting in his way, which the teen had difficulty in trying to re-control the Digimon. There he told Akari and the others to try and get hold of the Lock Seed which she and the others nodded.

"Akari! TK! Guys! Get the Lock Seed! That'll get the Digimon to stop!"

"The Lock Seed?"

"We should get it so we can control it again!"

"Okay!"

"Got it!"

"Let's get it so this problem will end!"

"Come on!"

"Hurry!"

Akari, Takeru, Rika and the other Team Gaim members try to get through the panicking crowd in order to retrieve the Lock Seed, but the civilians pushed them away in panic just to avoid the Digimon and some kicked it away by accident, which it soon went towards the Shikamon Invess, who promptly took it and consumed the Lock Seed, causing the Invess Digimon to evolve into a rather "mutated" form, which now resembled a giant deer, increasing in size and further went wild, which again caused the crowd to go in to a panic. Ryouma was quite shocked by this and watched as the evolved Shikamon began smashing a parked car to bits.

"No way...is that even a Digimon now...?"

Seeing that the situation worsened, Taiki recalled that he has the Lock Driver with him and decided that this might help in dealing with the problem just like he did when fighting the Invess Byakko-Mon, and there he made up his mind and puts the Lock Driver in front of his waist and it instantly formed a belt and then he unlocks the Orange Lock Seed which moments later the huge orange object materialized from the sky.

Orange Lock Seed: "ORANGE..."

The panicking crowd stopped on their tracks upon seeing it and likewise both members of Team Gaim and Baron were surprised to see the huge orange slowly descending towards Taiki as he puts the Orange Lock Seed onto the Lock Driver before locking it, and there the witnesses got a surprise in their lives as the next moments played, which even netizens who are watching the scene live on the internet would get a shock of their lives as well.

Orange Lock Seed: "ORANGE ARMS...HANAMICHI ON STAGE!"

The scene shows that Taiki's body (from the neck down) is covered in an armored body suit before the huge orange landed on and covered his head, which then "disengaged" and formed the bulky armor and helmet, giving Taiki an samurai appearance and he is armed with the Orange Slicer, which resembled a huge samurai-like sword and an orange slice. Everyone were surprised at what they just saw, and even Ryouma couldn't believe his eyes at what he just saw, and even Team Baron are shocked to see this.

"What the...?"

"How did he...?"

"No way!"

"I bet he cheated using that!"

"That must be it!"

By then, Taiki went towards the rampaging Digimon and and attacked it, managing to divert its attention and the fight went towards a nearby basement parking area where both Taiki and the Digimon began to brawl, but despite Taiki's armored form and weapon, the evolved Digimon was quite strong and swat Taiki aside, dropping his weapon and crashed against a parked car, where the evolved Shika-Mon began stomping on the armored teen, which Akari and Team Gaim became concerned at his situation.

"Taiki!"

"Oh no!"

"He's gonna get pawned!"

"We got to do something!"

"Like what?"

"Call the police!"

"Moron! We can't do that!"

"Then what?"

Rather than standing and do nothing, Ryouma went towards the scene, grabbed the Orange Slicer and attacked the Digimon, struck it with pure force and managed to amputate one of Shika-Mon's back legs, and it screeched in pain and its tail swat Ryouma aside and turns its attention towards him and is ready to stomp him to death, which Ren and the other Team Baron members watched in shock seeing that their team leader is about to get killed.

"Ryouma!"

"Boss!"

"Someone help us!"

"We got to do something!"

By then Taiki got up and unknowingly presses the Lock Driver's "cutting blade" three times, due to sudden panic, and that's when the Lock Driver's hidden abilities appeared.

Orange Lock Seed: "ORANGE SPARKING!"

Taiki's bulky armor moved and formed into a huge orange, covering his head and then spins very fast, and there the Shika-Mon attempts to stomp it, but the impact caused the Digimon to be repulsed and staggered backward, and there the effect of the "Orange Sparking" stopped and re-formed into his "bulky armor" and then an idea formed on his head and confronted Ryouma, which caused the other teen to get incensed.

"Ryouma!"

"What?"

"Give it to me!"

"Eh?"

"The Lock Seed that you bet on!"

"What did you say?"

"I won it, remember? I need it! So please hand it over!"

"Damn you...!"

Though he held on to his pride, Ryouma grudgingly gave the Lock Seed he wagered to Taiki, in which it appeared as a pineapple, and Taiki unlocked and removed the Orange Lock Seed, which his ""bulky armor disappeared, and then unlocks the Lock Seed - identified as the Pineapple Lock Seed - and a huge pineapple materialized above him, which surprised Ryouma and the other witnesses, which Taiki then inserted it in to the Lock Driver and presses the "cutting blade" and another armored transformation took place.

Pineapple Lock Seed: "PINE ARMS...FUNSAI DESTROY!"

The huge pineapple then "disengages" and formed the helmet and "bulky armor", where it gave him a rather pair of long shoulder pads that acts as a shield, though he still resembled a samurai, but with a motif of a pineapple fruit, and he gained a new weapon that resembled a flail, in which the pineapple resembled a huge boulder with a chain that can be used as a throwing weapon. Taiki then went in to battle and uses the weapon to attack the Invess Digimon, which slowly have an effect on it, slowly weakening it with a flurry of attacks using the weapon, and there an idea came when he recalled pressing the Lock Driver's "cutting blade".

"Okay...let's hop this works..."

Deciding to take the risk, Taiki presses the "cutting blade" of the Lock Driver once, and there the Lock Seed that is attached on the Lock Driver spoke to announce its activation.

Orange Lock Seed: "PINE SQUASH!"

After Taiki activates the Lock Driver's "Squash" function, he throws his weapon - identified as the Pine Iron - at the opponent. Once the Pine Iron is attached to the target's head, it immobilizes the Digimon and there he strikes the target with a powerful side kick, in which the move connected and the Digimon "exploded" and the area is now safe, in which Team Gaim went towards Taiki, congratulating him for the victory over the Digimon and for saving the city.

Ryouma and Team Baron were left shocked as they didn't expect Taiki to be THAT strong and that they lost their first match to him, which its members began to panic at the prospect of losing to Team Gaim in future matches.

Likewise, witnesses uploaded the video they recorded on the internet and it soon became viral, and to add more to the media fire, DJ Sagara began to give "publicity" to Taiki by dubbing him "Armored Fighter Gaim", and in the days that followed, Whenever Taiki is walking at a crowded place, people flocked him and began referring him as "Gaim", much to his embarrassment.

Okay, just as it looked like Team Gaim is in a pinch as they are just one game away from being eliminated if they lose another match, while at the same time lost the stage they've been using due to Team Baron's underhanded tactics, which would demoralizes the team, Taiki saves the day as he saves the team, and the city, from an out-of-control Digimon, and not only did they get their stage bacxk, they won both a match and a Lock Seed and even Taiki gets a new name - Gaim!

Looks like things take a turn now that Team Gaim has a "secret weapon", but where will this lead to as they still need to find out what happned to Henry Wong, and about the mysterious forest.

Taiki and Team Gaim gets some "busy days" as rival teams began challenging them while unruly players attempt to attack Taiki himself, and that's where Gaim gets more publicity. However, Ryouma Mogami won't be taking this lightly as he has found a way to "surpass" him in another way in a surprising turn of events...
