A/N: Hey guys, it's been a long time! I hope you're all doing well and that you haven't hated me too much for not updating this story... Which brings us to the matter at hand.
Since you're reading this, I'm sure all of you remember last autumn, when I made that fateful descision to focus my efforts on my Pokemon story and considering I stopped working on this story in favour of that one, have no doubt thought of different ways to punish me, including but not limited to handing me over to the merpeople in the black lake, let Filch bring out his chains to strangle me with and lock me in Voldemort's Horcrux cave along with a boiling lake full of Inferi.
For about half a year or so, I've barely touched the Harry Potter franchise. Some of you have surely noticed I've posted a few new stories here, but have quickly lost interest in them and those have eventually been drawn into a bigger project, the so called "Operation Tenth Order" or whatever I could call it, which is basically a new story I've done some serious work with, practically uprooting the foundations of the Harry Potter world, trying to balance new elements in massive amounts with the world we all love from JK Rowling's works. However, there is one story that will definetely not be included in that project, and that is the one you're currently reading.
Hidden Prodigy used to be my pride and joy on this site, a story I enjoyed writing and that, hopefully, you enjoyed reading. Writing this story made me grow as an author and I got you guys to thank for that, for pointing out flaws in my writing and mistakes I repeatedly made, some worse than others. However, as I went back and re-read this story for nostalgic purposes, I felt... disgusted. The grammar at times is truly terrible and the story telling and build up for the events, while impressive to myself back then, feels pathetic to me now. Despite not writing this particular story, I never stopped writing and developing my skills and with my skills at the level they are now, I feel like I could do a much better job at this story than I could back then.
So here's the deal: I want to re-write this story, change some of the plot and turn it into an even better story. It would be posted as a separate story because technically, it is, but I will still use the same elements. What I want to know is, would you be interested in reading and improved version of this story?
I know that the pairing for the story is not the most popular, and that a lot of you propbably closed your eyes and pretended not to read some of the Harry/Ginny moments I put in, but you still pulled through. I admit that while Ginny still is my personal favourite female canon character, I have grown more open-minded towards other pairings being a very real possibility (blame shadowz101 for that). I feel like their friendship developed too quickly in Hidden Prodigy and given their friendship in the fic, it was a more likely possibility that they would turn out like Harry and Hermione in canon: close friends, bordering on siblingish, but not romantically interested in each other. If I indeed make this rewrite a thing, Ginny's role in Harry's early life will most likely change and if I feel like another pairing got more ground to it when I reach that stage of the fic, I won't hesitate to have Harry end up with someone else, be they Hermione, Cho, Susan, Hannah, Fleur, Gabrielle or any of the Greengrass girls. As I said,t shadowz kinda opened my mind to other pairings being a possibility (that git...).
So why am I posting this note? Because I want to know what you guys think about this! If I were to do this second project of mine, it would be as much for you guys as for myself. I want to know if you would want to read another Harry Potter story of mine, one with better grammar and a more thougthrough plot. I want to know what you liked about Hidden Prodigy and what you didn't like. I want you, the readers, to share your opinions with me so that I may be able to please you to the best of my abilities.

Clarification: Sharing your opinions that may contradict mine does NOT count as flaming in my opinion. We're all human and are entitled to have our own opinion on something. The qualification for being counted as a flamer is to include a long chain of swear-words and personal insults, varying from calling me a dick to telling me to go kill myself.
