Author's Note: Hope ya'll like it sorry it took me a wile, I had the idea for this chapter all thought out but it took me a wile to get it to flow smoothly. Also, sorry it's so short.
Chapter 7 Unlikely Allies
Isa POV
Previously:
I watched as two males walked into view, one had short blond, almost white, hair wile the other had longer, dark brown, hair. They both wore capes and smirks, something about them screamed danger. "Vhy, hello little vone." The blonde greeted. "My name is Vladimir, this is my brother Stefen." He introduced in a thick, Romanian accent.
Now:
I watched the two males as they moved closer. "Why are you here?" I asked cautiously. The blond one smirked, "I might ask you the same." He replied. I snorted, "I live here." I replied, "Your turn." Before ether of them could speak I was pulled behind Alec as Caius and Demetri faced the two brothers.
"What are you doing here?!" Caius hissed angrily. I noticed that there was venom splattered across not only Cauis' face, but Demetri's and Alec's as well. Anger bubbled inside of me when I realized who's venom it was. A growl rumbled through my chest and my mates thought it was directed at the Romanians.
It was only when I stepped away from Alec that they seemed to realize that it was towards them. The Romanians were forgotten as all eyes turned to me. "Isa?" Caius asked in confusion. I growled again. "Why?" I snarled at them. They continued to look confused and it was starting to piss me off.
"I forgave him. So why is his venom splattered all over you?!" I hissed. Realization dawned on their faces and Cauis moved to comfort me. I noted the hurt look on his face when I backed away from him. "We were protecting you." He whispered. I snarled again, "Why the hell would I need protection against him?!" I screeched. My mate's flinched at the tone in my voice. I opened my mouth to yell at them but I was interrupted by Marcus and Aro. Both were snarling at the Romanians.
"Ve come in peace." Vladimir stated, holding up his hands. Aro continued to growl but Marcus was silenced by their words. His eyes darted between the brothers and myself and it made me wonder what he saw. He quickly whispered into Aro's ear something I couldn't hear and Aro nodded. "Everyone, to the throne room, now!"
Aro's POV
When Marcus told me of the bonds between the Romanians and Isa, as well as the fraying bonds between Isa and her mates, I knew something had to be done. As we entered the throne room Marcus whispered to me, "We need to get Eleazar to Volterra immediately!" he hissed quickly. He, like myself, suspected that our Isa had more powers than just her ability to communicate with animals. The brotherly bonds that were already forming for Stefan and Vladimir towards our Isa was amazing.
We took out seats in the throne room, I wasn't surprised when Isa stood next to Jane rather than her mates, I had seen through Marcus that her bonds with them were weakening. I pushed that thought to the back of my mind and turned my attention to the Romanians. "What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Ve heard about the young queen, and ve vanted to meet her ourselves. She is quite an increadible young vampire." He said with a smirk. Caius growled at the mention of his mate but I silenced him quickly. "May I read you?" Vladimir nodded and held out his hand. Upon touching him I realized just how much Isa had effected him and his brother. I pulled away and nodded. "Very well, you may stay here. Felix! Take them to the South wing." I ordered. "Caius, Alec, Demetri! My office, now." I growled as I moved towards said office.
Once the door was closed I turned to the three males. "I don't know what you did, but the mate bond between Isa and yourselves is almost gone." I hissed. They had the decency to look ashamed. "They only way you can fix the bond is to solidify the mate bond with her. You must mate with Isa, soon." Marcus rasped from behind me. I knew they had been avoiding this topic. Male vampires were very possessive of their mates, and hate to share, but in this case they had to. "Go now, and figure out how to fix this mess you made!" I hissed.
