They gave us envelopes that couldn't be opened. I mean seriously, why would you give a bunch of restless kids envelopes that would decide the next four years of their life and then tell them that they can't open it till they get home? Why?
From history class to the end of Art, the day couldn't have gone slower. And then I had four hours of Lego League. The whole time, that yellow envelope was on my mind.
But then I got home. I practically ripped it apart trying to open it. And it said yes. I got in. I, Ashi Saxena, had gotten into Archwell High School, one of the hardest and best schools to get into.
I danced around my empty house singing R5 and Austin and Ally songs at the top of my lungs. "C'mon get loud, loud, let it out! Shout it out from the rooftops, c'mon get loud, loud. I need you no-"
I stopped mid-lyric. What about the others? Who else made it in? How many? Obviously Christoph made it in. The perfect British child. Jake probably made it in, he was just good at everything. Jazz and Fox definitely made it. Dani too. How many was that? Six, seven including me.
I decided to check. I sent a group message to everyone.

Needless to say, I was excited. Excited didn't even describe it. I loved my class. My tiny, friendly, cozy, loud, and socially awkward class. And we'd all stick together for another four years. Till adulthood. And although I wasn't sure about Braurum, I knew i wanted each and every one of my friends to be there. Because with I every 'I made it,' or 'Yep.' I felt happier. A whole lot happier.
I should have known that something so great would have a catch. A fatal catch.
