Okay, I know it has been a little while, but guess what… I can actually explain! I know right, it's weird. So anyway, a few days after my last update, we were gone for a few days to see my aunt and uncle. Then we went away for a week to Florida, and then I had camp for a week, plus a TON of school work. So I am sorry for the wait.
I am going to say this right now. The computer at my mom's house does this weird thing where it doesn't let me sign into fanfiction, so I have to do it at my dad's house. So, I will only be able to update once every one or two weeks. I may be able to fix it, but until then…
"… You're not backing down from this, are you?"
"Nope." Rigby sighs and walks back to the door where the cat and goldfish are playing rock-paper-scissors. They look at Rigby as he approaches.
"Come on in."
Gumball and Darwin walk into the house and look around, albeit there was not much to see.
"So, where are we staying?" Darwin asks in his always upbeat tone.
"Oh, you'll be staying in our room." Mordecai says. "Sorry, but we don't have a guest room."
"It's okay, I'm just glad to have some shelter, right Gumball?" Darwin says.
"Yeah, yeah that's interesting Darwin." Gumball calls from a different part of the house, having been distracted and not hearing what Darwin said. Suddenly, Gumball spots their game system. "Hey, do you guys have four remotes for this?" Gumball calls.
"Yeah, we'll get them!" Mordecai says, going to the game cabinet, Rigby in tow. "See Rigby, they like games, how bad can they be?"
"Fine, I guess." Rigby replies.
So Gumball, Darwin, Mordecai, and Rigby play video games until they become tired, then they head upstairs. After some scrambling around, Mordecai finds Rigby and his sleeping bags to give to Gumball and Darwin.
The Next Morning
'MORDECAI, RIGBY, GET UP!" Benson screams into their room. Mordecai jerks awake while Rigby groans and slowly gets up. Mordecai looks at the clock and sees-
"9:30! Rigby, didn't you set the alarm!
"Yeah, to 8:00, as usual." Mordecai checks the clock again.
"P.M.! Dangit Rigby!
"YOU TWO ARE LATE AGAIN! WHAT ARE YOU… WHO THE HELL ARE THESE?" Benson yells as he notices Gumball and Darwin.
"Oh, hello sir! We are-"
"Margaret's nephews! They're Margaret's nephews!" Mordecai blurts out. Gumball and Darwin look at each other confused, but go with it.
"Okay, and how exactly are a cat, aND A FISH, RELATED TO A BIRD!" Benson yells.
"I don't know, but a cat and a fish are related to each other so…" Rigby says.
"Okay, and why are they here?" Benson says, slightly calming down. Mordecai and Rigby explain the problem (With Gumball and Darwin chiming in occasionally.) When they finish Benson sighs.
"Fine, but they have to help work. Mordecai, Rigby, and… you two. Rake the leaves." Benson says before leaving.
An Hour Later
"Ugh, work is so hard!" Gumball moans.
"I know right!" Rigby replies, also with a moan.
"Will you guys quit lying under that tree and help us?!" Mordecai yells.
"Yeah, the nice man let use stay here, the least we can do is help take care of the place." Darwin chimes.
"No, the least we could do is nothing." Gumball says, high-fiving Rigby.
"Ok, I used to feel sorry for you guys, but at this point I am just about do-" Mordecai says before suddenly hear a loud sucking sound followed by an explosion. A blinding flash of light blinds the gang and a huge amount of wind blows Mordecai and Darwin off their feet. Suddenly, they hear an evil laugh, and then silence. Slowly, the gang stands back up and regains their eyesight. They look to the origin of the explosion to see two creatures getting up. One is a human with a white cap, a light blue shirt and dark blue pants and the other is a yellow dog that walks on two legs. "Who- Who are you guys?"
The human stands up and looks around a lot, obviously disoriented. "I'm Finn the Human." The boy says, not even looking at Mordecai. Meanwhile, the dog jumps up.
"And I'm Jake the Dog."
(A/N) Well, that's the end of that chapter. I'll be honest, it took me awhile to write this; I got major writer's block. Anyway, I haven't really planned much farther than this, so SUGGESTIONS PLEASE! Anyway, on a different note, I need more OC suggestions for Jonathan's friend. On a different different note, to celebrate my return to fanfiction, I am trying to branch out to two other archives. Pokémon (maybe) and Gregor the Overlander. BTW, if you haven't read Gregor the Overlander, READ IT. I COMMAND YOU! Seriously though, read it. Anyway, on my page, there SHOULD be a poll. (It's my first poll, so tell me if it didn't work.) On there, you can say if you would read Pokémon: Bloodmoon. Gregor the Overlander: The Return, both, or neither. Please do, because that may influence whether I do it or not.
Question: How will the three groups get along?
