This chapter you might find out. AND I'M NOT GONNA TELL YA! :D:D:D YAY! SECRETS ARE AWESOME WHEN THE OTHER PERSON'S LIKE, "Is it this? No, it's definitely this. No? Can we play 20 questions? WHAT IS IT?!"
So, I'm not telling ya. But you might find out. In this- ugh, nevermind.
What was I talking about? I don't even know because I wrote that so long ago... O.o well, I'm back my little minions!
I'm rambling, so I'm just gonna start. See ya at the bottom!
Violet sat, with her little camera clicking away faster than the Flash. Elena smiled at her little sister as the Penni family and the Waynes and Alfred drove their way to Gotham Park where the festivities were being held.
The limo stopped, and the trio jumped out of the car, twirling in circles and laughing. Mr. and Mrs. Penni smiled at the children, holding hands.
Violet squealed and started running around the park, getting stares from the people inhabiting it. Dick and Elena ran after her, laughing.
Voilet looked around, and crossed her arms in an inpatient manner. "He's not here yet! I wanna say hi before the ceremony!"
Dick rolled his eyes. "He doesn't have to be here early, silly. He's superman. He can come pretty much whenever he wa-"
"Today we are gathered together for a unique event," a woman's voice echoed around the park, making everyone gather around the huge stage. She smiled widely at the crowd, showing off her pearly white teeth.
"We are all touched, by the life of superman. He is one of the greatest heroes on earth. And now, today, he is here in Gotham- I present to you, the man of steel himself, superman!"
Everyone whooped and hollered as a shape came from above. Violet squinted, making out a red and blue costume and black curly hair, and a big large S on his chest. He smiled, landing on the stage, and the audience went crazy.
"Hello, Gotham," superman yelled over the cheers. "I'm here today to-"
"Violet..."
Violet looked around for the creepy voice that sounded a bit like a little boy. "Wha?"
"Violet."
She decided to ignore the voice and focused back on Superman.
"VIOLET!"
The teenager jumped out of her bed, bonking her noggin on her bedroom ceiling. She scowled at Max, who was standing over her with a worried expression.
"Max, I'm gonna kill- Wait, are you crying?"
He was. Tears streamed down his face and he sobbed, holding up his hand. Except... it wasn't really his hand. Violet squinted, rubbing her eyes, just to make sure what she saw was true.
His hand was moving... at the speed of light?
All she could make out was a big blur. Max tried to grab his hand to keep it under control, but it just passed right through. He sniffled and wiped his eyes with his normal hand, and Violet stared at him with her jaw on the floor.
"I'm scared, Vi," he sobbed, and his big sister got out of bed and managed to hug him without touching his hand. "Did you tell mom or dad?" She asked.
"Yu-yup," he stuttered. "The-they w-w-ere sca-sca-red of me. They starte cry-crying!" Max started bawling, soaking Violet's pajamas.
"It's okay, Max. I'm going to take you to someone." He looked up at her, forgetting for a second that he was scared as he cocked his head like a puppy.
"What's his name?" He asked curiously.
"His name is Bruce," she replied. "Bruce Wayne."
The doorbell rang through the house as the two siblings left, and Paul's head shot up. Lana came out of the bathroom, her tears dried, and she almost looked like nothing had happened that morning.
Almost.
"Ready?" She asked her husband, squeezing his hand.
"Ready."
They opened the door.
Standing there was a fifteen year old with brown hair and brown eyes, carrying two suitcases in her arms. She smiled reassuringly at Mr. and Mrs. Penni, but her dark eyes betrayed the friendly smile.
"Hi mom, dad," she greeted softly as her parents both hugged her tightly.
"I'm so, so, sorry Elena," whispered Lana. Her tears were coming back, and she sobbed. "I didn't know that this was going to happen all over again."
"It's okay," Elena replied, holding out her stuff. "Now let's get all caught up, shall we?"
Elena took a sip from her chocolate milk, savoring the taste. They were sitting in the kitchen together, Lana on her right, Paul on her left.
"So," Elena started the conversation. "Gotham is back."
Her parents looked at her, and their daughter sighed, wiping the milk mustache from her lip.
"Any questions?" She asked. "I do know everything." The Pennies looked at eachother. Elena hated that look.
"This morning," Paul started slowly, "Max had a... complication with his hand."
"And Violet has suddenly taken interest in Batman and Bruce Wayne," piped up Lana.
"I know that," replied Elena. "What happened to Max's hand? And where are Violet and Max?" After her parents explained what had taken place that morning, Elena had a thoughtful look on her face.
"Before you had us," she said. "In Gotham. Do you remember your real names?"
Lana and Paul looked at each other. "No," they said at the same time.
Elena shook her head. "Just focus. Really focus. It's important, it's the reason Max's hand went all bazonkers."
Lana opened her mouth and closed it again. "I- I-" she stuttered. "Ir...Iris." Her head shot up and her eyes went extra wide. "It was Iris."
"Iris what?" Asked her daughter gently, but her mother sighed and closed her eyes. "I don't know."
There was a long silence, and both Elena could feel both adults concentrating as hard as they could.
"Allen," said Paul suddenly, surprising the other two.
"What?" Asked Iris.
"Barry Allen. Barry and Iris Allen."
Barry and Iris Allen.
Well, that explained a lot.

Hopefully most readers know who Barry and Iris Allen are. Because if you don't, you have been living under a rock until now.
