A/N: Sorry for the really late update, i had been very busy with school and stuff but i managed to get this chapter up and ill post more often when i can. for those don't remember the last chapter it was in Chisa's pov towards the end so this chapter is still in her pov. well enjoy the chapter ^^
"master..." Allen scowl, narrows his eyes at the site of his master.
"who?" I asked.
"I'm General Cross, Allen is my apprentice" he smirks taking a drag of his cigarette
a general? Like general Klaud..but something about him is different...
"so who might you be young lady?" he asked smiling.
"master dont..." Allen growls.
"Chisa" I answer.
"ah the girl with no memory. Finally get to meet you" he smiles.
Girl with no memory? Is that how am know around here?!
"how do you know that master?" Allen asked.
"Timcampy showed me...besides Klaud told me" he smiles.
"oh but why are you here?" Allen asked.
"general Klaud asked me to train her today, promised me to buy sake later" he smiles.
"great more debts to pay off" Allen mumbles "can't you come tomorrow?"
"nope. I leave tomorrow for another mission" Cross says. "idiot apprentice"
"yes master?" Allen asked.
"stand back im going to train with her now" he says
"but she's exhausted!" Allen protested.
"im fine Allen" I say
"interesting lets begin shall we?" he smiles taking out his gun.
A gun as innocence? he must be equipment type*
suddenly I hear gun shots, see bullets heading toward me, I jump back, start to run but glance behind me only to see they're still following me, i looked shocked and see his expression.
"my bullets follow their target and wont stop till they hit the target" he grins.
I growl and swing my sword a few time making the bullet into tiny scarps of metal.
"interesting try this now" he smiles shooting bullet after bullet at me.
I jump into the air, swing my sword at them turning into tiny pieces again and land on the ground.
"hmm let's try another approach" he smiles unchanging a coffin then chats a strange spell as the coffin begins to open.
"not good..." Allen says
I look at Allen then about to look up when bullets head straight for me. I jump back, started running as I hear Allen say.
"it's no use" he sighs.
"Maria...carte garde" Cross orders.
Suddenly I stopped moving as panic went through my body, I hear a woman singing a strange melody. Two innocence? How is that possible?
I looked around only to see the bullets coming closer, closed my eyes trying to think to myself that I should move but I couldn't hear my own thoughts that was drowned out in the melody.
"damn it!" I hissed as the bullets were soon enough a few inches away from me. Suddenly the song was drowned out with a different sound of several notes sounding like a piano.
"MOVE!" I yell, suddenly I felt a pain where my blue eye was but it went away, the bullets were sent back flying into tiny pieces as a yellow coat with black spots landed on my shoulders, the general had a look of amusement while Allen looked at me with amazement, shock.
"that was interesting" Cross smiled.
"I don't know what happened but im glad it did" I sighed as more exhaustion hits my tired body.
"Maria. Magdala Curtin" Cross orders.
"not so fast!" I hissed as I ran toward him somehow with blinding speed but the song reached my ears, cross disappeared.
He couldn't have move...its an illusion..
I closed my eyes as my sense of smell heighten all of sudden but helped me confirmed he hasn't moved. So I kept running toward him, jumped up then got behind Cross with my sword near his neck.
"check mate" I grin.
"looks like I lost. Well done" Cross smiles.
"thanks" I smile back as Hyoku changed back, the coat disappears.
"would you care to join me for some sake?" he smiles
"you do know im not the right age to drink beside I really don't like sake I prefer juice" I replied.
"come on..one drink wouldn't hurt you" he said.
"come on chisa...lets leave" Allen says grabbing my hand before cross could do anything.
"im glad training stopped. I'm exhausted!" I whine.
"yeah me too but I bet your more exhausted than me" Allen says, I nod. "how did you manage to still fight Cross?"
"I guess the urge to become stronger" I say
"guess that makes sense, how did you fight off grave of Garia's two attacks?" Allen asked.
"grave of Maria?" I ask
"the woman from the coffin. Magdala Curtin creates illusions in the mind so you're not able to see him, carte garde takes over the mind and controls the body" he explains.
"the first one I had my eyes closed, my sense of smell was even better so I could still smell that he was in front of me the whole time. Second one I couldn't move for a while until I heard a piano like sound that drowned out the carte garde song" I reply.
"piano song?" Allen asked concerned.
"yeah why?" I asked
"just wondering. I'll take you to Lavi's room so he can treat your injuries" he says.
"no its alright Allen. I can make it there myself" I smile gratefully.
"alright see you later" Allen smiles, leaves.
Normal pov
Chisa walks over to Lavi's room, collapses by the door making a thud noise as she fell to the ground but still conscious, just really tired. Lavi opens the door to see Chisa on the floor.
"Chisa!" he says worried, bending down to pick her up.
"im just exhausted Lavi. But do need help to a comfy bed" she says
Lavi nods and helps her to his bed, sets her down gently as he notices that Chisa's breathing is heavy, begins to check if she is okay.
"how was training?" Lavi asked
"I think I made a lot of progress in one day" she smiles and tells him about her fight with Allen and General Cross as she somehow won against him.
"looks like you a lot of strength in you that you didn't know of. You should use it when you need to" Lavi smiles.
"I will" she smiles.
"Lavi what are you doing?" Bookman asked coming in the room.
"Chisa came back from training so I was just checking to see if she's okay" Lavi replied.
"that's my job. Your job is to finish those reports before midnight" Bookman says as he goes over to Chisa who looks at him with sad eyes as she can't get those words out of her mind.
"yes gramps" Lavi sighs
Bookman looks at Chisa about to check for injuries but she gets up suddenly.
"im fine Bookman. Just exhausted" she replied.
"very well. You got a mission go see Komui" Bookman says as Lavi stands frozen in place.
"just when I thought I would be able to get some rest" she sighs
"she can't go! Gramps...she's exhausted and needs rest!" Lavi says
"that's not for you to decide" Bookman says
Chisa looked at Lavi seeing the worried, fearful look in his eye. She closes her eyes and smiles, opens her eyes confident.
"ill be fine Lavi. I'll talk to you later" she smiles.
Lavi searches through her expression hoping to see a sign of exhaustion, not wanting to go but only saw pure confidence, he sighs then nods. Chisa smiles and leaves to Komui's office.

She walks into the room to see Komui taking to Allen, Kanda leaned against the wall with his eyes closed. Allen turned to Chisa smiling at her but also showed exhaustion.
"if only we get some rest huh Allen?" she smiled back, he nods.
"im very sorry you don't get to rest" Komui says sadly.
"that's alright Komui. We can get some rest on the train" Allen smiles.
"that's what I like to hear" Komui says
"so where's the mission?" Chisa asked
"in a mountain next to a village. Bring warm clothing, it's the begging of winter now" Komui says
"whats the mission about?" Allen asked
"a strange storm that comes from the mountains and it doesn't stop for a month, it gets worse depending on the season. Right now they have terrible blizzards along with dangerous thunderstorms" Komui says
"great..." Allen sighs.
"you leave right away once your ready to go" Komui tells them
they nod leaving, Chisa heads to her room and meets up with Lavi around the corner.
''I thought you had reports?" she asked
"gramps got called to the infirmary to help the nurses take care of some finders" He says
"oh okay" she says
"where the mission? Who's going with you?" Lavi asked worried
"in a mountain near a village during the winter. Allen and Kanda" Chisa replies
"whats it about?" Lavi asked
"strange storm from the mountain all month gets worse depending on the season. Right now terrible blizzards and dangerous thunderstorms" she replied
"stay right there" Lavi says with his eye flashing a hint of worry.
"but I have to leave soon as im ready" she says
"alright. Pack then come to my room, I need to give you something before you leave" Lavi says.
"okay" she says
Chisa leaves to her room, quickly packs what she needs then heads to Lavi's room, sees him packing bottles of stuff into a bag, Then he sees her.
"I packed some medicine materials that will help you guys on the mission, along with bandages If you need them. I wrote a note to explain each medicine use and how much of it you need depending how bad it is, if you need anything at all call me" Lavi says handing her the bag.
"what if the golem doesn't connect in the storm?" she asked
"Johnny gave me this golem they just made. It's supposed to work in situations like those. But use it unless you absolutely need to. It's in the pocket next to the note"Lavi says.
"alright thanks. I have to get going now..cant keep them waiting" Chisa says grabbing the bag, heads for the door.
"Chisa..."he starts
"yeah Lavi?" she asked
"please be careful" he replies
Chisa nods, leaves to the underground tunnel, meets up with the other two.
"sorry for the wait, Lavi packed medicine material and bandages for us" she says lifting the bag up.
"he's always thinking about us" Allen smiles
"let's get going" Kanda says
