A/N soooo I didn't post for a while since I'm really busy and apparently no one cares because only one person reviewed my last chapter. And fyi I am letting myself be t-rated this chapter for some lemonish stuff so BEWARE
Mira hummed to herself as she cleaned the bar area of the guild, Natsu Lucy Grey Happy and Erza were out on a job Juvia was so sad at being alone that she Levy and Lissana went out on a job also. And so Mira was left alone with none of her helpers and only two couples to choose from and since one was a maybe she would have to pull herself together and set Laxus up with Cana.
_Time skip_
Laxus was a punk Cana was a drunk they would go well together. And though Cana did have her kind caring side so did Laxus, so again compatibility.
Laxus was sitting alone in a corner; Cana was drinking with her middle-aged buddies. All Mira had to do was get Laxus to join Cana's makeshift drinking contest and then she would get the men to leave one by one.
Mira's gut lurched as she approached Laxus and though she had never worried about putting people together before she couldn't help remembering a thought from a while ago, maybe somebody would get together on their own. Maybe she shouldn't interfere. No! She was gonna do this!
"Laxus" Mira smiled at the silent man "you shouldn't be here all alone."
Laxus looked up at her and frowned "I don't care" his eyes seemed to say but Mira continued.
"You should go and join them" Mira pointed at Cana and her companions "they look like they're having fun!"
Laxus looked warily at the group then smiled a shifty roguish smile "good idea Mira" he said standing "I will go have some fun."
Mira watched him go and felt a strange fear, what if he did like her? What if they did get together?
Mira felt a strange jealousy she hadn't felt since the reporter from sorcerer weekly flirted with Freed. Then Mira sobbed inwardly, Freed! She was almost over him she didn't want him as her boyfriend anymore but things were so awkward between them now when she tried to talk to him he would be even less social than usual and walk away as fast as possible.
Laxus and Cana where guffawing about something Macao had said but Macao was getting to drunk to laugh with them instead he almost fell over. Mira sprang into action.
"Romeo!" She ran to the boy grinning and interrupting his conversation with Wendy.
"Romeo" Mira said "your poor father looks like he needs to go home and sleep" she gestured towards the man.
Romeo sighed "alright, goodbye" he said turning to Wendy then back to Mira "make sure Waccaba doesn't do anything stupid with my pops not there."
Romeo went over to the group of drunks and grabbed his father dragging him away from his buddies.
Once Macao was gone Waccaba didn't have much reason to stay and slowly, one by one, the others left until something happened that really freaked her out.

The last of the drunks had left the guild and Wendy (and Charle) was long gone. Laxus, Cana and Mira were alone in the guild so Mira decided that she would go do some cleaning in the back room let them talk (also she had this weird almost painful feeling in her stomach that intensified every time she looked at them.
When Mira had left the room Laxus and Cana were singing but a few minutes after she left it got very quiet, Mira started to go back to the guild hall when she heard a series of sounds.
First a deep slurred flirtatious voice then a thump and some giggling-all the while her heart was beating faster-and then a bump and another slurred, but this time higher pitched voice said something and there was footsteps walking quickly and a door opened and slammed shut.
Mira walked into the guild hall her heart pounding and she felt flustered and almost angry and she didn't know why. People made out near her before! Why should she be so freaked out? She felt as protective as when a stranger hit on Lissana! No, that wasn't it. This felt more personal less older sister and more... more... she didn't know. And unfortunately she knew that she would be up for a while thinking about it.
_P.O.V change_
Cana was drunk as usual and this wasn't very different from other one night stands that she had had while intoxicated but she was used to intoxication it was normal for her almost hard to completely become unaware of what was happening to her.
The alcohol didn't usually kick in like this.
She was completely aware of Laxus's body on her's but she didn't feel it, not like normal.
His heat didn't reach her but with each second that past, each kiss, each touch; she became more attached to Laxus. And then when his drunk self wanted to remove her bra and go from make out to full on, no turning back, you will not forget this sex a warning sign flared in her head, PREGNANCY!
Cana kicked the drunk off her "No! We can't!" She yelled but he didn't listen he got up and grinning and came right back.
"Don't worry" he slurred "I have medication" he was crawling back up but before he did he had grabbed a bottle and took from it two pills.
"One for me and one for you" he said in a sing song voice.
Cana grinned and grabbed the pill. She knew it was wrong but her vision was blurry, her heart was pounding and the already stirred emotions had been pushed too far to fall back now.
They never kicked in like this.
But by the time she was sober enough to think as straight as when the warning had come it was far too late.
_time skip_
Laxus woke in a strange room with almost no recollection of the last night, he remembered Mirajane sending him over to Cana and her group, he remembered flirting lightly to match the playful mood but he did not remember coming to Cana's house, he didn't remember opening his pills or taking them, he didn't remember sleeping with Cana or what had definitely happened before it.
But when Cana started to wake up he panicked he slowed his breathing to calm her down-her head was on his chest-and he waited till she was snoring to get up and then quickly dress to leave and clear his head.
He sat on the edge of the water way, no one was out he always woke early it was just something that happened.
His mind raced for an explanation of what was going on why and how he was going to get through it but all he could think of was how Mira had smiled less and less as each person left the guild. Why would she be unhappy unless it was because she didn't want him and Cana to be alone? How did she know that they would be the last to leave anyway? Then Laxus remembered all of Mira's whispering with others lately and all the kissing and hugging that was going on with the people in the guild.
She had set it up behind their backs! But why? Why would she do something that made her unhappy? Why was she unhappy? Because of him? Or Cana? Cana! Mira wasn't gay! What was he thinking?! It must be him. It must be... him!
He had made a horrible mistake! And now he had probably hurt two people that he cared for.
He jumped up and ran towards the guild. Cana's house was on the other end of magnolia and he knew if he stayed it would be worse for both women.
_scene change_
Mira was her normal cheerful self until Lucy returned with her group from her job and ripped the heat breaking truth out of Mira with a horrible question.
"Anything happen while I was gone."
This was a question Lucy asked nearly every time she got back from a job but this time Mira had just pulled herself out of her bed that she had been sitting in for hours thinking and when Lucy asked her that totally innocent question the horrible conclusion she had mad that morning came back to her and she promptly burst into tears.
"What's wrong?" Lucy jumped at the sudden outburst.
"Lucy! You made her cry!" Grey said disapprovingly "how could you be so cruel?"
"I love him!" Mira sobbed.
Grey backed off slowly "this is woman's business not mine I'll be taking my leave."
Lucy patted Mira's shaking head comfortingly even though she was very confused.
"Mira can you tell me what happened?" Lucy asked.
Mira raised her head revealing a red blob from pressing her forehead to the counter.
"I set sob Cana and... And..." Mira burst into tears again "then they shaking of the head, needless blushing, and then painful sobs and then they sob together and they left sob alone, and sob had to sob home sob alone! At night!" More sobbing.
Lucy stood in silence the poor girl had been dumped then to heal her heart she started setting up others and making them happy but in the end she broke her own heart again.
A/N ya well I managed to not make it really bad and this is actually my first cliff hanger chapter, yay!(?) So pleeeeeaaaassssseeeee review I need support to continue! Ok bye bye!
