The train stops at the station for the village and Chisa looks outside as it seems pretty normal now but knows it will get worse.
"here's out stop" Lenalee says as they get off.
"we'll be going this way" Allen says pointing to the path that leads to the mountains.
"okay see you later and be safe" Lenalee says
"we will Lenalee" Allen smiles as Jade already walks to the village.
"wait for me Jade!" Lenalee says running toward her to catch up.
Allen and the other two walk the path to the mountain, occasionally passing small snow rabbits and they stop by a persons cabin.
"why did we stop here?" Kanda asked
"we will need a hiker to show us through the mountain" Allen says knocking on the door.
"how can I help?" a man asked coming out.
"are a hiker?" Allen asked
"yes I am" he replied
"could you guide us through the mountain? We're travelers" Allen asked
"in this weather? Are you crazy?! Sorry kid..your out of luck..you wont find any hiker to go up the mountain in this weather. Might as well give up" the man says
"come on, let's go you two. This hiker isn't brave enough to up the mountain" Kanda says walking away, the other two follow.
"you wont survive on the mountain!" the hiker yells

Kanda and the other two make it half way through the mountain. A strong blizzard starts blowing towards them making it harder for them to get through.
"Koumi wasn't kidding about the storm"Chisa says shivering, Hyoku paws her leg. "what is it Hyoku?"
Hyoku gets on her hind legs, she picks her up as she turns into a coat and wraps around to keep her warm.
"oh thank you Hyoku" she smiles
"we need Lavi with us..."Allen says shivering,
"yeah..wait why?" she asked
"h-he can make the storm g-go away with innocence" Allen says through his clattering teeth.
Suddenly there was a flash of lighting, Chisa looked behind her thinking she sensed someone was there, she see a tall man with tan skin, brown hair smiling at her. She closes her eyes and opens them back up as the thunder strikes again but the person is gone.
"Chisa?" Allen asked
"I thought I saw somebody behind us" she replied
Kanda grabs his sword as they look behind him but see no one there.
"there's no one behind us" Kanda says
Chisa was about to say something but allen spoke first.
"Lulubell. This happened before.." Allen says
"who's Lulubell?" Chisa asked
"she's another Noah. She can change her form to any person or living thing. This happened once before..me and Krory got stuck on a mountain with a storm similar to this but only a blizzard. We kept seeing people we knew but found out it was Lulubell to trick us and had us separate" Allen replied
"do you think it's the same thing?" Chisa asked
"I don't know but we can't take any risks so lets stick close to each other. If we separate you have Hyoku to help you find us" Allen says
she nods, Quickly takes out the golem Lavi gave her and puts it her pocket.
"we should find a place to shelter ourselves from this storm" Kanda says
"no we can keep going" Chisa and allen say together.
"quit the act you two. I know your both tired..especially allen" Kanda says
"but..." Allen started
"shut up! Lets go" Kanda interrupted as he continues to walk.
Allen and Chisa look at each other confused but follow Kanda.

They come to a small sheltered cave that has wood already in there.
"you two get inside. I'll go look around" Kanda says
"but you heard what allen said! We can't separate" Chisa says
"I'm not going to get fooled by an illusion or trick if that's what you think.." Kanda says then looks at Chisa. "don't worry about me brat"
there was another sudden flash of lighting as she looked at him she saw a small smile but it soon disappeared as they could see again.
"Kanda..."she says softly
"take care of moyashi" Kanda says as he leaves
"it's Allen...bakanda!" he yells
"did you notice he was acting strange?" Chisa asked, Allen nods as his shivering gets worse each minute. "I'll make a fire"
she goes to the wood, puts them together and makes the fire.
Suddenly there was another flash of lighting, she sees the same person she saw before but Chisa narrows her eyes, thunder strikes as she is about to get up, Allen reaches to grab her hand gently making her look at him.
"Allen?" she asked
"huh? Oh! My hand moved on its own..but saw someone?" Allen replied, she nods, "don't go its a trick"
Chisa sits next to allen as Hyoku changes back to her normal form of a snow leopard, curls on her lap. She stares at the fire thinking of Lavi. Chisa grabs the golem as it flutters next to her.
"Lavi.."she says softly
there was static and she sighs then a voice came through from the other side.
"hello?" the voice asked
"Lavi..its me Chisa" she says.
"oh Chisa! I'm sorry can't talk right now..gramps has me busy with reports and he's in the room. Call back in an hour" he says, there was static again.
Chisa sighs and falls asleep next to allen. An hour later has passed, she wakes up to Timcampy landing on her head, Hyoku trying to paw him curiously, she holds Hyoku tightly.
"hello anyone there? I hope your okay" a voice says.
"Lenalee?" she asked
"oh Chisa! Thank goodness..i was going to worry that something happened" Lenalee says
"whats wrong?" Chisa asked
"we talked to some villagers. They say people might have died on the mountain but they only found clothes..there could be Akuma over there" Lenalee says, Chisa's eyes widen in worry about Kanda. "is everyone there?"
"it's just me and Allen...Kanda went to look around" Chisa says
"oh no..." Lenalee says worried
"where are you kid? I'll come over to help" Jade says
"half way up the mountain in a small cave you'll see the light from the fire" she replied
"Alright stay there..ill be quick as I can" Jade says
"be safe Jade" Lenalee says
"no need to tell me that!" she replies
"call me if you need anything" Lenalee says
"got it" Chisa says
the connection disconnects and Tim stays on her head, Chisa shakes Allen gently.
"hmm? Whats wrong?" Allen asked yawning
"Lenalee and Jade called" she says.
"what did they say?" he asked
"the villagers told them that groups of people would get killed in this mountain. When they would search for them they only found their clothes" Chisa says
"Kanda's not back yet is he?" Allen asked, she shakes her head. "we need to find him"
"we wont be able to in this blizzard. He'll be able to find us though. Jades coming to help" she says
"o-oh alright" he says
suddenly Kanda limps toward the cave with thousands of Akuma following him as he collapses inside with blood everywhere.
"Kanda!" they both say at the same time, Chisa runs over to him.
"moyashi..." Kanda mumbles
"its Allen!" he yells but still worried.
"take Chisa and run" he mumbles
"I cant make a shield. There's no escape" Allen says
"we're not leaving you!" Chisa says
"don't worry about me brat" he grumbles.
Allen looks outside to see a girl flying at the Akuma, grabs her bow and reaches into the empty quiver.
"back for more eh? Innocence activate! Senya!" the girl says and suddenly arrows head toward the Akuma as she releases the string but some dodged. "tsk...dodge them did you? Try this. Innocence level two. Yakuto!" she aims the bow toward the sky and shoots at it the sky. At first nothing happened then an arrow lands between most of the Akuma and she shoots another arrow at that arrow as it causes a blinding flash along with an explosion making them close their eyes. When they opened it again there was no more Akuma and jade was standing by the entrance.
"Jade-san!" Allen says
"please just Jade..none of the san crap" Jade says looking at Allen.
"okay.." he says
"looks like this is the second time ive helped you. Yu-chan" she grins
"don't call me that!" Kanda hisses trying to get up but winces.
"let me bandage you" Chisa says.
"I don't need any help! And you don't have to bandage me!" he growls, gets up moving to a corner, makes Chisa sad.
"don't let the jerk get you down kid. He doesn't understand kindness" jade says
suddenly Timcampy starts fluttering around Chisa as static comes first then a voice.
"Chisa? Guys? Are you okay?" a voice asked
"Lavi?" Chisa asked
"oh thank goodness! I was getting worried. You didn't call back in an hour. Is everything alright?" Lavi asked sounding really worried
"we're fine except Kanda is badly injured" she replied
"you should bandage him soon as you can" Lavi says
"no they don't usagi. I'm fine!" Kanda growls
"Allen?" Lavi asked
"yeah?" he asked
"is Yu-chan okay?" Lavi asked as Jade grins amused she isn't the only one who calls him that.
"don't call me that!" he hissed angrily
"um he has a few bad wounds but we wont be able to bandage him cause he's too stubborn. Besides he heals fast" Allen says
"okay. What happened anyway?"Lavi asked
"Akuma's thousands of them" Chisa says
"again? How are you okay?"Lavi asked
"because I came in time to kill those Akuma" Jade replied
"who was that? I don't recognize that voice..." he says
"name's Jade. Soon as we get back ill be a new exorcist there" she replied
"well cant wait to meet you Jade! I'm Lavi" he says cheerfully
"likewise..you sound interesting Bookman junior" Jade smiles
"wha?..oh crap gotta go..I'll try to call back again. Chisa there's something I want to tell you" Lavi says and the connection ends.
Chisa looks at the ground as her mind spin with questions. One being what Lavi wanted to say to her. But she snaps out of it when Jade breaks the silence.
"well since I'm here..I'll go look around to see if there's innocence" she says
"I'll come too!" Chisa says getting up.
"buts it safe here" Allen says worried
"I want to feel like I did something. Besides I don't this storm will die down" Chisa says
"Chisa?" Allen asked softly
"don't worry. I'll protect the kid" Jade says
"you better!" Kanda growls, shocking Allen and Chisa.
"hmm sudden change of heart?" Jade grins
"shut up and go" he grumbles
Jade smiles and takes Chisa with her who is still shocked.
