A/N: so here is the next chapter of Lost memories, new memories. there will be at least three or two more chapters before this fic ends but do not worry! I will write a continuation of this in a new story! ^^ with that being said i hope you enjoy~
Chisa and the others sit down under a tree after reaching a deeper part of the forest but turning up empty, Kanda sighs grumpy.
"I'm starting to think there is no innocence to be found" Jade says, Allen nods.
"it almost feels like a trap" he whispers.
Suddenly Hyoku jumps up on all fours growling toward the distance, getting the attention of the others, Kanda grabbing Mugen.
"what is it?" Jade asked
"Hyoku senses something..." Chisa says softly but tenses a little.
Allen suddenly doubles over in pain but gets up and activates his innocence as he turns his arm into the sword of exorcism and stands ready.
"get your weapons ready" he says
"why whats up?" Jade asked activating her boots as the silver material covers her legs.
"Akuma's...a lot of them. But there are level threes and fours" Allen replies.
"shit.."Kanda mumbles annoyed as he activates Mugens two blades.
Hyoku Jumps up to Chisa's hands as he turns into a sword, then the cloak goes over but she suddenly holds her head, hearing a voice whisper. 'go back...' over and over again. She closes her eyes tight, Jade looks at her worried.
"kid?" she asked, Chisa shakes her head opening her eyes.
"I'm fine.." she says
"alright.." Jade says concerned.
"Moyashi how many are there?" Kanda asked
"it's Allen baKanda!," Allen yells. "and there's about three level threes and two level fours"
"two of them? Shit!" Kanda mumbles
"is that bad?" Jade asked.
"yeah very bad. Level 3's are kind of tough because they have thick armor as skin plus they kind of fast. But the level 4's are extremely tough... we only had to fight one" Allen says and gives Jade a look that said 'Link didnt tell you?'
"what happened?" she asked as she shakes her head.
"a Noah invaded the order bringing an army of Akuma's, we each had to fight them even the generals. A level four was born from another Akuma during the fight..it was Lenalee and Allen who killed it. But the order took its damage" Kanda explains.
"so, Level three and fours equal bad" Jade says.
"really bad" Kanda mumbles.
"speaking of..." Chisa says.
A bunch of Akuma's show up and start surrounding the four as one of the Level three's Laughs. Chisa holds her head as she hears a painful ringing noise in her head that only keeps getting louder.
"kid..theres no time for that" Kanda and Jade say together, Chisa opens her eyes.
"I'm fine..." she says gripping the sword hilt tightly.
"the millennium Earl is getting impatient. We'll kill you three and take the girl with us" the level four says.
"over our dead body" Kanda, Allen and Jade say together.
"we'll take the ones near us. Allen, you and Chisa take the ones near you guys" Jade says.
"got it" Allen and Chisa say together
"I think I need my other innocence for this" Jade says taking off her bow as it gets covered in energy making it look like two swords.
Kanda and Jade start attacking the three's in unison along with some of the Level one's and twos. Leaving The two Level fours to Allen and Chisa.
"one is tough on its own.. but two of them? We would have to fight one our self..you'll be okay Chisa?" Allen asked, Chisa nods.
Allen charges at one of the Level fours and starts fighting it. Chisa charges at the other one but it attacks her first making Chisa have to block as the energy flows around her. Causing the ringing noise to get louder making Chisa hiss angrily. She looks at Allen for a moment seeing him get sent flying toward a hill and covered in cuts and gashes. She looks back toward her own fight but only to be sent flying the same way as Allen, hit the hill.
"this isn't going well..." Allen pants heavily.
The Akuma flies over and is about to hit Chisa but her cloak covers her like an armor, she jumps up and stabs the Akuma straight through its chest.
"die pitiful Akuma" she growls.
Chisa looks over to Allen seeing him unconscious as the level four beats him up. Chisa growls angrily and charges at the Akuma in full speed in seconds as she stabs it right through the chest as well.
"Leave him Alone!" she growls.
Chisa looks over to Jade and Kanda seeing Jade kills the last of the Akuma's.
"finished..." Kanda pants heavily, collapses by a tree.
Suddenly more Akuma's shows up and surrounds the two girls as they laugh.
"shit..they just keep coming," Jade says looking at Chisa whose pupils are slits like a cat but looks exhausted. "kid hold onto something"
Chisa nods holding onto a tree, watches as the silver material fully wraps around Jades body, she holds her arms up making a tornado around and starts sucking in the Akuma as they get destroyed when they enter inside the vortex. Jade kills the last one but there was suddenly a bright flash of blinding light.
"Jade!" Chisa yells before everything goes black.
