A/N: I'm still alive just had a very bad case of writers block but I'm slowly getting ideas. So here is the Lavi Chisa moment chapter before the next chapter where she remembers everything. I hope you enjoy!

Lavi's pov:

I stood in my room staring at a book nervously as I wait for time to pass. Why was I so nervous? It was just me and Chisa going to a café and having lunch. Oh right I'm nervous because this is the chance I get to let her know my feelings about her and I don't know how she'll react to it. I can't mess this up. I took a deep breath closing my eye.

Take it easy Lavi stay cool, calm and collected you can do this. There's nothing to be so nervous about. You like her..she makes you smile and you feel like she means everything to you, want to protect her. It's simple as that.

Of course there's something to be nervous about! What if..what if she doesn't like me back,what if she finds me annoying, what if she liked someone else?

Cool, calm and collected Lavi.

I Got off my bed and attempt to make my hair look decent and put on my usual dark green shirt with black pants, put my hammer in the pocket of my pants. I gulped and headed out the door to Chisa's room. When I get there I knock on her door. I immediately felt all heat raise up to my face when I see her. Chisa was looking up at me with her blue and violet eye, had a small smile on her face. She had her hair in a loose ponytail, was wearing a light blue shirt that was low on her shoulders, show a little cleavage but complimenting her eyes. She also wore dark denim skinny jeans, combat boots.

"Ready?" I managed to smile.

"Ready" She replied smiling back.

We sat at a café outside having a nice cup of lemonade and slice of pie. Neither of us spoken a word since we got here. It was just complete silence well except for the chatter of people passing by. I looked at Chisa seeing that she was looking at her water with this far away look in her eyes like she was deep in thought or searching for something but also looked as though something was bothering her. The part of me that really cared about her came out and my confession had to wait just a bit more.

"Chisa?," I asked but there was no response. She still kept her gaze on the water so I cleared my throat and she looked up. "Is something bothering you?"

Chisa let out a small smile and played with the straw in her glass, gazed at the water for a moment again then looked up at me, shook her head.

"It's nothing to worry about Lavi. I was just thinking.." she spoke softly.

"Thinking about what? I'm all ears if you want to talk"I said.

"Just about my past..trying to remember what my childhood was like" she smiles but it was one of those sad smiles.

"Remember anything?" I asked cautiously.

"No..It's all fuzzy," she sighs then looks at me. "So what did you want to talk about Lavi?" I felt all heat raise up to my face again.

Stay calm Lavi. You can do this..It's just a confession.

"I've had a lot of time to think about things," I started and she looked at me, giving me her full divided attention. "One of the things I happen to think about was you…"

"Me?" she asked softly, I nodded.

"We've known each other for a bit here and I've come to find myself smiling when I'm near you or even get to talk to you. I really care about you and I believe that my world is shifting slightly..like you mean a lot to me" I continued.

Why are you beating around the bush! Just go out and say it. It's now or never Lavi.

I took another deep breath and looked at Chisa. she still kept her gaze on me with her full divided attention, never looking away. I searched in her eyes hopeful that she'd have the same feelings for me.

"I like you Chisa and not just in a friend way or a sibling way. I mean I really like you and I feel like you're my whole world now" I say and closed my eyes waiting for the answer that would be either a yes or a rejection, I felt Chisa take my hands in hers with a gentle squeeze.

"What does Bookman think about this?" she asked, I opened my eyes and blinked a few times. That was not an answer I was expecting.

"Bookman doesn't know how I feel but I'm starting to think he suspects it,"I sighed and looked at her. "But I don't care what he thinks. This is me being honest for once…"

Chisa leaned forward and gave me a kiss on the cheek and my face was cherry red all the way to my ears. I looked in her eyes which seemed happy but sad at the same time.

"I like you a lot too Lavi. But I need some time to focus on figuring out my past before anything else. We can do little dates or whatever you plan..but for now I need sometime" she spoke softly.

It was a yes but added with 'more time to think'. Alright I think I can handle that.

"Alright I can do that" Lavi smiles, Chisa smiles back.

Chisa's pov:

I smiled at Lavi and put my hand on his cheek making him blush but I turn my head back when I hear someone yell.

"Monster!"

Lavi and I turned to look in that direction and see an Akuma laughing. Great just when I thought this could be a peaceful day. Then I realized something.

"Crap!" I hissed.

"What is it?"Lavi asked looking at me.

"Hyoku is back at the order" I say clenching my fist.

"Don't worry I got my weapon with me. I always carry it around with me" Lavi says taking out his hammer. "Innocence activate!" his hammer got bigger.

"Thank god" I sighed as some of the tension was released from my shoulders.

"One thing I learned and always made sure to remember. Never go anywhere without your weapon. There's going to be Akuma roaming around somewhere" Lavi says.

"There's one more problem. We don't have our exorcist coats" I sighed.

"We'll manage somehow..stay there"Lavi shrugs and jumps up on the building.

He swings his hammer at the Akuma but it dodges as it laughs and Lavi tries another swing but keeps missing for some reason.

"What is that all you got exorcist?" the Akuma laughed.

Lavi clenches the hammers handle tightly about to jump and charge at the Akuma with his hammer. I could see the anger and tension, frustration build up in his eye.

"Lavi! don't let the Akuma get to your head! it's mocking you so can't focus!" I call up to him.

Lavi nods taking a deep breath and swings at the Akuma again but it misses and looks at me. I looked back at it with horror realizing it was going to aim for me as it fires a bullet at me. This would be like the training I had with Cross but the only difference was I didn't have Hyoku with me. My legs froze up and I couldn't move, I closed my eyes waiting for the hit.

"Chisa! move out-of-the-way!" Lavi calls.

Let me take over. This Akuma is pitiful and weak it has no chance against you when you are stronger than it.

It's that voice again. The same voice I heard before I woke up..The same voice I heard back in the library.

Let me take over.

I opened my eyes a little seeing the bullet approaching me faster and on the other side. Lavi running towards me to push me out of the bullets way and get hit instead. I didn't want that to happen but what am I suppose to do? I closed my eyes again hoping for something or some miracle to happen.

This Bullet is but a mere simple and easy obstacle course in our way. Let me take over and it'll be gone in minutes.

I took another deep breath and decided to let Mia take over hoping that I don't lose myself to her.

Lavi's pov:

I ran as fast I could to get to Chisa and move her out-of-the-way so she doesn't get hit by the bullet. Which would be stupid according to Bookman's eyes but I didn't care. I was going to lose her. Chisa opened her eyes and glanced at me which made me stop and land on a roof. Something in her eyes were calm, mature but they were different they didn't seem like Chisa at all. I watched in horror as the Bullet was right about to hit but right when it did she vanished into thin air. It couldn't be the virus it didn't take effect that fast. But when I looked again she was standing on the bullet itself, she tapped it with her finger and it crumbled into pieces right underneath her and fell to the ground. My eyes widen and I felt my mouth fell open from shock. How was that even possible? No exorcist could have done that not even Allen. I saw her land in front of the Akuma and it suddenly looked terrified as it tried to escape but couldn't.

"You poor soul must be suffering inside this pitiful Akuma body and can't do anything but listen to every command the earl gives you. I shall put an end to your suffering now" Chisa spoke softly but it sounded mature and almost had a deadly tone in her voice.

Chisa tapped the Akuma and it exploded right in front of her. She looked up to the sky as if watching the soul be free from the horrible suffering. I jumped over to her and looked at her with concern and worry.

"Chisa?" I asked cautiously

Chisa looked at me with those same calm but deadly eyes. She closed her eyes for a moment then opened them. Her eyes were different now.

"Lavi?" she asked looking at me.

"How did you do that?" I asked.

"I..I don't know…,"she replied looking down. "Can we go back?"

"Yeah.." I replied
