CHAPTER 2: FIRST CLUE

Chuck was on the phone with Andrew Tyler, his father's PI or should I say was Chuck's dad is now dead "Yes Tyler I know that but there has to be something you can do." Andrew Tyler had said something but no one knows what "Yes I realize that we aren't in New York but isn't there some one here you know? No? Well then I'm sorry for wasting your time you're not a good PI." Chuck hanged up. "Well we don't have his help."

Ashley, Hanna's mom, couldn't handle it anymore "I can not believe my daughter is missing! What if she shows up dead just like Alison DiLaurentis!"

Emily went over and hugged her "Hanna's not going to die. Somehow we will find her even if it takes years!"

Serena just shook her head and went back to looking for a good picture to Hanna to put on the Gossip Girl lookout page.

That's when Emily felt her phone vibrate it said:

Have Serena check her email –A

Emily gulped why did –A want Serena to check her email another message:

Now! –A

"Serena you have to check her email." Emily said frightened of what –A might've done to Hanna and what she might write to Serena.

Serena rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She took the computer from Blair and went on her email there was one new message from Unknown:

Hello Serena before you ask you don't know me but I know you and I certainty know Hanna REAL well apparently you want to find her well her is your first clue: where the gay heart sleeps you will find a key and a note where you will find your next clue/riddle you must do what I say. Till next time S. Luv Ya sexy chick who sleeps with her best friend's boyfriends little whore maybe Emily wants you ask! -A

What does that even mean? Where the gay heart sleeps. Oh my god! Eric! What if he's in trouble? And she only slept with one of Blair's boyfriends once and that was years ago but she is with him now! She is with Nate! Even if they didn't sleep together she bets that they would be together anyways! They are in love and always were!

They all got on the next train to New York City.

When they got there Serena ran to The Plaza to find the cops there "Mom? Mom! What's going on?" She was worried What if it is Eric?

Lily hugged her daughter. "Your brother is...is missing."

Serena's heart stopped "There wasn't something on his bed was there?"

Lily looked confused. Why did her daughter want to know that? "There was this key and note but I handed it over to the police they will take it back for observation after they are done investigating."

"I need that!" Serena ran to the police.

An officer asked the new one that showed up "Do you know who Serena would be? We have a note with a key addressed to her."

Serena smiled. They had it. "My name is Serena Celia Van Der Woodson. So what is with this note and key you are talking about" She smiled innocently.

They handed her the note and key the key had a heart and a carved into it weird and the note read:

Dear Serena,

Seems like you found Eric or maybe you didn't now you have two of your favorite people missing what will you do? Here is your next clue aka riddle: where liberty stands you will find Hitler and he will lead you to your next clue. He will be there for only 3 days so you might want to hurry up and find him. Good luck my little slut.

Before Serena could get her mind straight her phone beeped. It was a blast from Gossip Girl:

Oh no! S, N, C, B, Lil J, Lonely Boy, and some new girl came here but E is missing! Where could he be! Send me tips. XOXO Gossip Girl

There were already some tips. There were rude ones like this:

Is: Probably ran away with some gay dude to a state or country where they can legally be married. Haha. He is such a stupid queer.

Nelly: Why should we even care? He's gay and we don't care about gays here in New York we hate them! You go Is! He is just a stupid queer just like you said! He can burn in hell for all I care! All homosexuals and bisexuals can!

Ivy: I don't care and I don't want to find him.

Aaron: I do not care anymore Eric and his family (such as Serena) can burn in hell now for all I care!

Damien: It is good that he is gone. Nobody try to find him! Let him die!

Then there were some nice comments like:

Vanessa: I have no idea but I hope somebody will be able to find him. I love that dude. Who cares if he is gay? He is awesome and I love him for that. I mean not love I would not want to date him but he is one of the most awesome people here in New York. I hope he is not dead. My consulates to the Van Der Woodson Bass Humphrey family. Smile for me and never lose hope!

Carter: I will defiantly keep an eye out for him. I hope for Serena to stay strong throughout this! Serena even though you are engaged to Nate and I do not want to interfere with that I still love you! I will pray for you and your family until Eric is found!

Penelope: I can not believe my friends have betrayed me! Fuck you Nelly and Is! Eric is the best guy I have ever known even if he is a homosexual I will keep an eye out for him and hope he will be found soon!

Georgina: I have no clue but good luck finding Eric! I love him!

Jonathan: I hope to find Eric soon! He is amazing!

Serena sighed and then she rolled back up to the comment from Ivy. Who was Ivy? She thought to herself she handed the note back to the cops "Thank you but you can keep this now but I still need to keep the key." Serena felt it was too late so everybody stayed at the Plaza for the night. That night they agreed that whatever that where liberty stands thing was about it probably means The Statue Of Liberty and they will go there in the morning
