"You better have a good reason why then," Jack hissed.
"Never mind Jack. You're too clueless why Kim even bought you those presents! Come on guys! Let's get out of here!" I said.
"Fine! Go ahead!" Jack shouted.
Jack's POV
I can't believe I just abandoned Milton, Eddie, Jerry, and Kim! I wonder what the fuss was about me! I mean it's just an ordinary day! I'll figure it out later. I just need to go home.
~5 minutes later~
I walked into my bedroom went into bed thinking about the decision I just made losing the people I care mostly about. Why the heck did Kim give me these presents? Then I drifted into sleep.
Ashley's POV
I walked home and went into my bedroom. I took out my phone and texted Kim.

Look, I'm sorry for overreacting about the date it's just why were you spying on us?
I'm sorry for spying its just personal. Okay?
I understand. So best friends again?

The Next Day…
Kim's POV
I woke up to my big sister, Emma yelling in my ear.
"What do you want Emma?" I questioned annoyingly.
"How was your anniversary with Jack yesterday?" Emma asked.
"Oh, we got into a fight," I stated.
"Kimberly Anne Crawford, why did you do this time?" Emma announced.
"Nothing, it's just Jack forgot about our anniversary yesterday and so I spied on him with his date with Ashley," I said.
"Whoa, looks like someone's jealous," Emma teased.
"I'm not jealous!" I growled.
"I was just joking, jeez! Anyways, why don't you just give him some time to figure out what he has done and comes back crying to you," Ashley said.
"Ashley! I don't want this to be a sob story from a movie. I just want my best friend back but Jack isn't going to forgiven that easily," I stated.
"Okay, fine but just give him some time to think and wait Ashley and Jack went out?" Emma asked.
"Yeah, but at first they didn't know that I was best friends with either of them," I said.
"Oh, but did you really have to spy on them?" Emma questioned.
"Hey, the only reason why we did it is because the guys felt sorry for me that Jack forgot about the anniversary," I said.
"Oh, well you're lucky to have them Kim, keep your head up and you have an thirty minutes left until school, so you better hurry," Emma stated.
"Only thirty minutes?" I questioned in a hurry.
"Now, twenty-nine," Emma stated.
"I better get dressed!" I responded.
I went into my closet quickly picking out a blue and white ruffled tank top with white shorts. I quickly ran down stairs gobbled my pancakes and went upstairs to brush my teeth. I then grabbed my back pack along with phone and skateboard. I said my goodbyes to my mom and big sister. My big sister is goes to online classes but I don't really know why. Then I finally reached school and headed to my locker hoping not to see Jack and quickly headed to Home Ec.
"Hello Students! Today we will be having a new four day assignment!" Mrs. Wilson announced.
Ugh, ah great!
"Now, since we have done too much on being parents for babies, we have to do a marriage and how to live in the situation that marriage isn't always easy!" Mrs. Wilson reported.
Aw, great! Now it's exactly like I'm in a romantic sob story. The girl and boy make up by an assignment. I just hope I don't get Jack. But I'm not going to forgive Jack just yet! I thought.
"Okay students! I'll be pairing you up by seeing how each of you are caring for each other so I can pair you up with people you are caring too! Now, take turns getting to know each other," Mrs. Wilson said.
Great! All, I have to do is be mean to Jack and then Mrs. Wilson will see how not caring how I am to Jack! This plan is perfect! I thought.
"Hey Kim!" Jack said.
"Ugh, yeah, yeah whatever," I acted annoyed.
"What's with the attitude?" Jack questioned.
"What's with those jeans with that shirt?" I commented annoyingly.
"What did I ever do to you?" Jack asked.
"See ya, I have to see who I really care about so Mrs. Wilson can pair me up with them," I stated.
I walked up to Milton.
"Hey Milton! Who are hoping to be paired up with?" I asked.
"Julie, no offense Kim but it's just she's my girlfriend," Milton answered.
"No worries, I just hope I don't get paired up with Jack," I said.
"He didn't apologize yet and didn't remember what he forgotten?" Milton asked with an understanding look on his face.
"Yeah, but if he did remember then apologized, I won't forgive him that easily," I said with an evil grin.
"Yeah, I agree with you," Milton agreed.
"Well, I try to find someone else to be with," I advised.
I walked up to Eddie.
"Hey Eddie!" I greeted.
"Hey Kim," Eddie replied.
"So, what's up with you and Jack? Eddie asked.
"He thinks he's all innocent," I stated.
"I get it but sorry I can't be partners with you because Grace is going to be my partner," Eddie informed.
"Oh, okay I'll find someone else," I replied.
I then walked up to Jerry.
"Hey Jerry!" I said.
"Why are you looking down mamacita?" Jerry asked.
"Jack," I said.
"Wait, I'm confused," Jerry replied.
"Well, remember what happen to me with Jack last night," I informed.
"Oh, wait that was real? I thought it was just dream like the one I had about me having cotton candy hair while having bananas praising me as their lord," Jerry said. I laughed.
"Yeah, but anyways do you want to be my partner?" I asked.
"Sorry chica but Kelsey is going to be my swag new partner," Jerry stated.
"Okay, I'll find someone else then," I said.
I walked up to Brody.
"Hey, any chance you don't have a partner?" I asked.
"Nope, do you want to be partners?" Brody questioned.
"Sure!" I answered.
"Now, since you all look like you're comfortable with being with the people you are right now I'll announce the partners," Mrs. Wilson announced.
"Kim and Brody, Jack and Ashley, Eddie and Grace, Jerry and Kelsey, Milton and Julie, Kathy and Brad, Randy and Donna, Heather and Brian, and Frank and Stacy.
"Well, meet you at my house tonight?" I asked.
"Okay!" Brody replied.
~At Kim's house~
"Hey Brody!" I greeted.
"Hey Kim!" Brody replied.
"Well, come on in!" I said.
"Nice place," Brody commented.
"Thanks, so let's work on the assignment!" I said.
"Okay!" Brody answered.
"So, what's the first step on our fake marriage assignment?" I questioned.
"Well, we're suppose to write my last name which is Nicholson," Brody said.
"Okay!" I answered.
"What's the second step?" Brody asked.
"To write down a career job and fold it up," I said.
"Okay, I'll be a karate sensei," Brody said.
"Ha," I laughed because I knew Jack would've picked that as his job.
"What's so funny?" Brody asked.
"Oh, nothing," I said.
"Let me guess, Jack?" Brody grinned.
"What. Pft. No." I act.
"Oh, come on Kim, you like Jack, Jack likes you," Brody said.
"Why the heck would you think I like Jack and Jack likes me?" I questioned.
"Because, remember the Cotillion? You and Jack slow dance and you guys looked like you really enjoyed it even though it was just a second," Brody said.
"Well, that was just once," I stated.
"Then, who were you just thinking about when I said I wanted to be a karate sensei?" Brody asked.
"Jack," I mumbled.
"I thought so, let's just work on the project," Brody said.
"Okay," I said.
~While at Jack's house with Ashley~
Jack's POV
"Hey Jack!" Ashley greeted.
"Hey Ashley!" I replied.
"Well come inside," I said.
"Thanks, I like you're home," Ashley commented.
"Well, let's work on the assignment in my bedroom," I said.
"Okay," Ashley replied as we ran up the stairs into my bedroom.
"So, what's first?" I said.
"Writing the husband's last name," Ashley stated.
"Okay, then its Anderson," I answered.
"Okay, now our career," Ashley said.
"Um, I'll be a house mom or designer," Ashley added.
"Ha," I laughed because I knew Kim would want to be a designer too. I thought.
"What's so funny? Is it about Kim?" Ashley questioned.
"No," I lied.
"Okay, whatever," Ashley said.
"Well, um you know that show you, Kim, Jerry, Eddie, and Milton are in," Ashley said.
"Yeah why?" I asked.
"Well, I'm guest starring!" Ashley announced.
"Oh, cool," I commented.
"Who are you playing?" I asked.
"Oh, um I'm going to play Mikayla," Ashley said.
"Nice," I said.
