Chapter 12: Begging for Forgiveness.
Jack's POV
"Oh, no," I said.
"I'm so stupid! How can I forget? How can I forget the most important day of my life! I can't believe I blamed Kim for this whole argument. I'm so furious with myself!" I confessed.
I looked at the charm bracelet and then went to the gifts that Kim bought me. I read the note on the box. It said:
Dear Jack,
You are the best, best friend I've ever had! You have never done anything to hurt me. Instead you just try to save me from anything. We will have the best anniversary! Thank you for everything that you have done for me! :)
From your best friend Kim
Kim is the best friend I have ever had too and I just let go of her. I thought.
I have to make it up to her right now! I thought with a determined look on my face.
Kim's POV
I can't believe Jack! He still doesn't remember our anniversary! I thought as I marched up to my bedroom.
"Hey Kim, are you okay?" Emma asked as she entered my bedroom.
"No," I answered.
"What's wrong?" Emma questioned.
"It's Jack," I confessed.
"He still doesn't remember does he?" Emma asked.
"Yeah, it just hurts that he would forget," I said.
"Don't worry sis, what are you planning to do?" Emma asked.
"Payback or just thinking about it," I said.
"Okay if you need a little help on the payback I'll be happy to help," Emma volunteered.
"Thanks for comforting me," I replied.
"You're my little sister, I'll always be there for you," Emma informed.
"Well, I'll tell you what I want to do to him when I make up my mind," I said.
"Okay," Emma answered and walked out of my room.
I was thinking if I should do payback on Jack or not. Until I heard a doorbell ringing. I went downstairs and opened the door to a Jack on his knees and his hands pleading for forgiveness.
"Um, Jack? What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Kim, I'm so so so so so sorry about forgetting about our friendship anniversary. It's just, just," Jack stuttered.
"Just what? You were too busy on a date with Ashley that you forgot our anniversary?" I informed Jack.
"Look Kim I know you're mad," I interrupted him.
"No, no I'm happy," I said sarcastically.
"Kim, I know you're angry at me but," I interrupted him again.
"But what? I should be happy and forgive you like a cheesy movie? Plus, I'm more than mad I'm furious and cross at you!" I barked at him.
"I'm sorry but I just needed to get my mind off of you because," Jack stuttered.
"Because?" I questioned him
"It's just personal okay?" Jack said.
"Wow, you come here to apologize and I ask you because and you just say it's personal? Wow," I stated.
"But, if I tell you, you would probably laugh at me," Jack replied.
"Again, wow. I was your best friend and you're saying I would laugh at you? Great apology Jack you're doing great," I said sarcastically.
"Well, I just want to say I'm really sorry. Can you forgive me?" Jack pleaded.
"I'm sorry too Jack but I can't forgive after what you have done to me and this isn't some sort of sob story where the girl forgives him. I mean forgetting this anniversary really hurt me. I mean the guys even remembered and it's not their anniversary! Even Jerry remembered the anniversary for god sake's!" I informed him and shut the door in his face.
I ran up to my room and sobbed into my pillow. I just realized this is kind of a sob story but it's not!
Jack's POV
Kim shut the door in my face. This is the second worst day of my life or is tied with the day I went out with Ashley and the guys along with Kim said they weren't my friend. I walked home thinking about the sadness and anger in Kim's eyes. But what haunt me the worst was that Kim said I was your best friend. I can't believe I let her go like that again! I went into my house to get my stuff in the dojo. I grabbed my skateboard and skated to the dojo. As I walked in the dojo Milton, Eddie, and Jerry were there. I smiled.
"Hey guys," I greeted but no one said anything.
"Hey guys!" I said once again.
"Oh, hi," Milton blurted.
"I just want to say sorry and be your friends again," I said.
"Thanks Jack but we can't," Eddie said.
"Why can't you?" I asked.
"You really hurt Kim and Kim's like our little sister to us but we always thought you and Kim would you know? Get together. And you gave her up for Ashley," Milton stated.
"What? I don't like Kim. Psh.. Your guys are crazy," I blushed
"Then, what explains you blushing crazy," Milton stated.
"Look, I'm really sorry but can you guys be my best friends again?" I asked.
"We're sorry Jack but we just can't do that to Kim," Milton said.
"I understand, I already gave too much harm to her and I don't want to cause anymore," I said.
"Yeah, see you later Jack," Jerry, Milton, and Eddie said.
I went to my house and started to think about what I've done to one of the most important person in my life.
Kim's POV
I kept sobbing into the pillow and heard footsteps coming into my room. I turned around to see my sister Emma.
"Hey Kim, who was at the door?" Emma asked.
"Oh, Jack was," I said.
"Oh, no what did he do this time?" Emma questioned.
"He found out about the anniversary and gave a lame apology," I said.

"Okay, first of how can you remember every single word?" Emma asked.
"Um, I have no idea," I confessed.
"Okay, second of all maybe it is personal to Jack," Emma said.
"Yeah, maybe your right but he really deserves payback," I said.
"Maybe if he does something else to hurt you, you can," Emma said.
"Yeah, yeah whatever you say," I said.
"Okay?" Emma said.
Hey guys! Sorry that this chapter was short but this had some drama but the next chapter is way more dramatic and way longer. Haha. So maybe 5-10 reviews for more drama in the next chapter!
