This is written for The Character Combination Challenge by Ember Nickel. The characters that I'll be using is Harry, Remus, Severus, Sirius, Lucius, Draco, Arthur Weasley, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom and Voldermort

A/N: The chapters will be drabbles and will be between 100 to 500 words. I'm warning you now so don't complain.

Race

Harry and Sirius – Godfather and Godson

Sirius gave a sigh as he looked over to where his Godson was looking over a large piece of paper with his friends. Voldermort and his Death Eaters had picked up the pace causing everything to go down the drain and push them into hiding.

As Sirius gave another sigh he looked outside at the sunny day, oh how he wished that Harry could be out there playing and enjoying the day. He wished that he had never gone after Peter that he had stayed with Hagrid. Maybe then he could have kept Harry.

He knew his actions were wrong all those years ago but he couldn't help it, his mind was clouded in anger. A giggle from his Godson caused Sirius to give a small smile and a ray of hope to enter his heart, maybe one day when the war was over he could adopt Harry and give the boy the life that he had promised.

Then after a few minutes Sirius continued to look out of the window only for a sudden thought to go through his mind and a smirk to appear on his face.

"Hey Pronglest," Sirius said happily as he stood up, "How about a race?"

"A race?" Harry asked standing up, "Where to?"

"Oh just the bottom of the garden and back," Sirius said before running out of the house and into the garden.

A shout of 'hey' caused Sirius to break down laughing, yes while he could he'd bring as much happiness to his Godson's life as he could, he'd let his pup win the race and all of them that was bound to come.

But…there was one race to a certain place that Sirius didn't want Harry to win, not for a long time. No, Sirius would be the first to see James and Lily again. Harry wouldn't be seeing them for a very long time if he had anything to say.
