This is written for The Character Combination Challenge by Ember Nickel. The characters that I'll be using is Harry, Remus, Severus, Sirius, Lucius, Draco, Arthur Weasley, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom and Voldermort
A/N: The chapters will be drabbles and will be between 100 to 500 words. I'm warning you now so don't complain.
Pattern
Harry/Neville - Friends
Harry and Neville lay on the bed together as they comforted each other in their darkest hour.
"I'm starting to see a pattern between our families," Neville suddenly said through his tears, "Our lives are so similar that it's scary."
Harry gave a watery laugh, "Yeah, I see what you mean but why? Why did they have to say those things?"
"We always knew the truth Harry," Neville said with a depressed sigh, "We always knew that your aunt and uncle hated you, and my Grandmother thought it was my fault that..."
"That's another thing," Harry said with a hollow laugh, "Both of our relatives blame us for someone's death; they both want nothing to do with us...what a pretty picture we make."
"Like I said," Neville said with a depressed sigh, "Our lives have a pattern to them so close we could be the same person...we both have no one."
"Now that's not true," Harry said as he gave Neville a comforting hug, "We've got each other; we're friends to the end."
Neville gave a very rare true smile, "Yeah, friends until the end."
