Severus/Arthur - acquaintances
"Well what are you going to do?" Severus asked Arthur as the man fidgeted in his seat, "How are you going to manage going up against the Dark Lord if we can't even stand up to your wife."
"Now that's different," Arthur said nervously, "This is Molly we're talking about not the Dark Lord."
Severus snorted, "With how she can be at times? She's a Dark Lord alright."
"Severus," Arthur said with a roll of his eyes, "Fine, I'll say no to her just once."
"That's a start but you can't be a push over Arthur," Severus said with a pointed look, "Not if you want to protect your family from the Dark Lord."
Arthur thought it over for a few minutes before nodding his head in agreement, "I think I agree with you, Molly has gotten to be a little too much lately."
"Only a little?" Severus asked with a single raised eyebrow.
"Well it is Molly were talking about," Arthur said sheepishly, "What do you expect?"
Severus paused for a few moments before nodding his head, "Good point but you'll have to make your side known."
"I will," Arthur said with fire in his eyes, "I'll do it!"
"You'll do what?" Molly asked, walking into the kitchen, "Did I hear you say my name?"
Arthur quickly stood up and slammed his fist onto the table.
"What are you doing?" Molly asked in confusion, "Is everything alright?"
"Everything's great," Arthur cried out, "In fact I think it's time I stood up to you!"
Severus groaned into his hands, when he had said Arthur needed to stand up to his wife he didn't mean it like this. Arthur was meant to yell, shout, curse at his wife…not stand up when she came into the room.
