This is written for The Character Combination Challenge by Ember Nickel. The characters that I'll be using is Harry, Remus, Severus, Sirius, Lucius, Draco, Arthur Weasley, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom and Voldermort
A/N: The chapters will be drabbles and will be between 100 to 500 words. I'm warning you now so don't complain.
Game
Draco/Arthur - Mentor
"We have nothing to fear from life my boy," Arthur said as he placed a comforting hand on Draco's shoulders, "After all life is a lot of fun!"
"Fun?" Draco asked with a raised eyebrow, "How can getting disowned by your own family be called fun?"
"Ah good point," Arthur said rubbing the back of his neck, "Think of it like…like life is one big game."
"A game?" Draco replied, he was starting to think the man had gone insane.
"That's right my boy," Arthur said with a smile, "I mean with those cards that muggles have, go back so many spaces is bad luck, go forward so many spaces is good luck. Games are filled with many twists and turns, some good and some not so good. But fear not, things will always get better! There is a finish line."
"I thought the finish line would have been death," Draco said with a raised eyebrow.
"Alright how about this then," Arthur tried again, "There is always a prize for everyone who is playing this game called life, mine so happens to be a family while others could be wealth or fame. You just need to find your own prize in this game."
Draco gave a sigh as he looked out at the scenery, in a weird sort of way Mr. Weasley was right. It was time he got back into this game.
