Oscar was a coward.Even he knew that about himself.Sure he had become a hunter and had taken down hundreds of Grimm.But he was a coward when it came to social and emotional things.He had barely been able to tell ruby he liked her. . .even though she turned him down.

But that was okay.Oscar had found someone else to share the feeling of love with.He was actually waiting for that said person right now.On days he wasn't off on missions he would be with his special people.

"Oscar!"

Team RWBY and JNR had been waiting for Oscar to move from his spot for an hour.Jaune and ren sat down enjoying a meal that they payed for with Weiss's money.Weiss,yang,and Blake sat on their scrolls watching tv.While ruby and Nora watched Oscars every movement.

"Ruby what are we doing here?" yang asked with her arm around Blake who was also bored. "we've been here for an hour watching Oscar so nothing."

"He's up to something!" Ruby claimed while watching Oscar with a pair of binoculars.

"yeah,no one misses out on family Saturdays for one seat to eat by themselves".Nora stated.She too was supicicous of Oscars action for the past month.He'd been 10 times more confident as usual.he said it was form qrow but she and ruby wasnt buying it.

Ren tried to reason with them. "Maybe we should respect the privacy of Oscar."

"I'm telling you guys he's been acting weird for the the past month. . . he barely talks to me on missions and is always on his scroll texting somebody".

Weiss sighed. " Ruby, so you think the reason he doesn't speak to you is because of the fact you rejected him." weiss suggested.

Ruby looked down uncomfortably.she had liked Oscar back as well.in fact if he didn't confess, she probably would've.But after he did she immediately felt paralyzed and rejected him coldly.After that there relationship was never the same.

"aye, but I need to know" ruby said.

"Wait look!" Ruby's attention changed back to Oscar as someone began to approach him.Everyones jaw dropped as the person came into view.

"Oscar!"

Oscar turned around to see the one and only Cinder fall in a skirt and shirt.immediatly cinder jumped onto Oscar, wrapping her legs around his waist and her arm around his neck before impatiently slamming her lips into his.The kiss lasted about 30sec.And in that time he and cinder was in complete ecstacy.

"someone's happy to see me", Oscar grinned wiping a little spit off.

Cinder didn't stop smiling, "I can't help it! You've been gone for two weeks."

Cinder gripped his hand not wanting to let him leave for anything.
