Chapter 1. Jack Frosts terrible discovery...

One day when Jack Frost was visiting the North pole, he found an interesting sight to see, a room full of little and large bottles all in their own shape and size, even color. Many decades before Jack became a Guardian, he found the North Pole to be wondrous and extraordinary, and beautiful. He wasn't allowed to enter and he was always curious to explore the place. Now was Jacks opportunity. Recently he had started to find all sorts of things in Norths home, and this room full of odd bottles wasn't the first.

But he failed to read the warning sign hanging on a nail by the door. It said: WARNING! Do not enter: dangerous potion room.

It went unheeded. Jack did of course find out that these bottles were potions, harmful or not it never crossed his mind. Throughout his years he couldn't help but be curious all the time. He was the challenging type and foolish, clumsy and goofy. He's gone through some of the most bizarre experiences so what would be the harm if he had a little sip of a potion, especially one that read: Scary Potion. Or Bones.

Okay maybe not a sip but a whole bottle, he didn't even read the warning on the back of the print.

He drank the bottle down and soon felt very strange and sick. His skin started to evaporate before his very eyes, or...if he had eyes, now they were simple black holes in his skull. His body turned to bones and his hoodie was replaced with a black and white stripy suit. WHAT?!

He looked at his bony hands with shock, spluttering words that refused to form from his mouth.

Jack became dizzy and fell over, almost fainting. He looked down at the potion bottle that was empty on the floor, it must have changed him! But before Jack could calm down and acknowledge what had happened, North stormed in excitedly ready to tell Jack about a party that was to be set up for Christmas. Yes it was the second week of December and Norths Holiday wasn't far off.

"Hey Jack it's almost time for the party! - EEEEEEEK!" North shrieked and backed up into the wall suddenly at the sight of a strange bony creature before him. Jack screamed as well, a very high pitched shriek that could've even turned North into a skeleton. He covered his mouth surprised at the sounds he made, it was like the echo of a banshee.

He stood up suddenly with his hands raised before him in surrender when North pulled out his sabers. "WAIT Wait wh-wait! North it's me JACK!" Jack told him, his voice seemed different to his own …ears? He didn't even know if North would recognize him, but just to be safe he said it again. "NORTH! It's me Jack Frost!"

North stopped his attack and looked at the oddly clothed skeleton with a questioning gaze. "Jack Frost? The winter spirit?..." Jack nodded.

"I know I look hideous for the party!" Jack said as though jokingly. But it wasn't very funny to North.

"What are you doing in here?! And what happened to you?! WHAT DID YOU DO?!" North growled, looking at the empty potion bottle on the floor.

"I got curious again." Jack said proudly as he dusted off his suit.

"Again?! And what is that supposed to mean? Have you been in her mindlessly drinking my potions?!" North said in bewilderment.

"No no no, of course not, this is actually the first time I've ever been in this room. And as far as I know it's the only room full of potions." Jack assured him. North put away his swords.

"And you came in here without my permission or a guide, did you even read the sign? Did you even read the WARNINGS?!" North asked. Jack just chuckled.

"Not much warnings I can see." He said as he held both dark eye sockets with his bone fingers.

"You mean to say that you can't see?" North asked with-not much surprise, but he did wonder.

"Actually I can, but I'm not sure how though." Jack said. "I'm not sure where my eyes even went." he said as he scanned the floor, but there was nothing.

"Earlier on I found these things in a berried cave, It is a wonder what these potions will do to a person, I never tried them, and I plan to keep it that way, didn't even know what they'd do." North said as he looked at a few potions. Jack smiled widely.

"I just discovered something new! I must show the others, they'll love it, don't you? Wait till you see their faces." Jack said excitedly as he stormed out of the room, staff held in hand.

"Yes we shall see their faces..." North said silently.

The Guardians were summoned and Jack waited patiently for them to arrive. Not bothered by the odd suspicious and confused stares he got from the yetis and elves. They all stayed well away from him, even North, who shuffled stiffly by the group of surrounding yetis, he held the empty bottle of the potion in his hand.

Finally a few minutes later they arrived and Jack stood up ready to greet them when suddenly he slipped, falling on his butt with a 'knock'. He looked down with surprise and saw that ice and frost had made him slip. OF COURSE! He has ice powers! He wafted up a few sparkling snowflakes with his hand and gazed at them with mirth. "Of course I would still have them, they would only be gone if my spirit died." he said to himself.

Meanwhile North and the other three Guardians stood in the background with puzzled and shocked questioning looks.

"North, uh...where is Jack? And...what. Is. That?" Tooth questioned nervously, not once taking her eyes away from the dark dressed creature.

"It is a difficult thing to answer..." North said.

Bunny stared on in shocked confusion, and Sandy poked at his ear tying not to be bothered by the situation.

Jack stood up with a bright smile. "Greetings my good friends, glad to see you again. I called you here because I wanted to show you something intriguing-"

"And because party starts in a few hours, in which it has be canceled." North put in with a clearing of his throat. Jack continued on, as though he never even heard the big man.

"Did you know that North keeps these potions in a secret room upstairs, never before have they been used!"

"What Jack is trying to say is that he was exploring and found my room full of dangerous potions and turned into this...this..THING!" North explained.

"Now now North no need to be rude, it is quite amazing what you have created-" Jack said approvingly.

"You mean this is our Jack?!" Tooth practically screamed.

"And not right in the head I'd say." Bunny said.

~("Or form!")~ Sandy said.

Jack sighed. "I know that this must be very strange to you all, and I apologize, I only hoped that you found my discovery just as exciting as I found it." Jack hung his head.

"That is quite interesting." Tooth said, still not very comfortable with the whole idea.

"Well Jack, it would be more exciting if you didn't look...well...dead." North said.

"I see your point North." Jack said. Then he got a brilliant idea. "What if you all changed like me, then it wouldn't seem so out of place!"

"NO!" The others disagreed, it would become even more out of place if that happened.

"Well all right then, I guess I'll see you all sometime in the afterlife, YE-AHAHAHAHAHAH!" He gave a high pitched laugh as he walked away.

"There's something we need to do about this but I don't know what..." North said as they stared after him...

After Jack turns into Jack Skellington I imagined his voice becoming different like the one in the movie (But either way it doesn't matter) And at first I made it so North created the potions, but then I though, why would he make them if he didn't know what they'd do? So I changed it so that he found them instead, to me it made more sense.
