"Alright Riolu, let's see what's in my grimoire," Izuku said, stopping in a clearing.
"Rah!" Riolu shouted, getting excited.
"Huh? It's empty except for one page," Izuku said, turning to the one page with writing. "I can't understand this!" he said, crouching down.
"Rio," Riolu said, putting a hand on his trainer.
"You're right, I'll just have to figure it out!" Izuku said, jumping up. "Wait, there's a hilt?" he asked, looking at the metal sticking out of his grimoire. He grabbed it and pulled a long black deteriorated sword that was as tall as him. "Woah, this thing is heavy. I need to get stronger to be able to wield this. Time to train till we drop!" Izuku announced, putting his fist up.
"Rah!" Riolu agreed, putting his fist up as well.
The two then spent everyday doing as many push-ups, sit-ups, sword swings, and any other workout they could do.
-One Year Later-
"Hiya!" Izuku yelled, swinging his blade.
"Rah!" Riolu yelled, looking around.
"What's wrong Riolu?" Izuku asked, looking around.
"Your Riolu has an excellent sense of ki," a man with a katana said, walking out. He had dark hair with a burn scar above his eye and wore a black outfit with a green and black over robe. "What's your name, young boy?"
"U-um, I-Izuku. W-what's your's?"
"Oh, how rude of me. I'm Tanjiro Kamado, I'm a swordsman and I want to train you to truly fight with a sword. The choice is up to you, but how would you like to be able to fight to be a hero with swords?"
"Teach me," Izuku said.
"Alright, but on one condition, before I start training you I want you to catch a second pokemon. I don't care what kind of pokemon it is, just any pokemon. Do that and then climb this mountain and find my hut. It isn't too far from here. Good luck young man," he said, walking off.
"Catch another pokemon, Riolu, wanna help me catch a pokemon?" Izuku asked, looking at his pokemon.
"Rah!" Riolu yelled, making a fist.
"Let's go!" Izuku yelled, running down the mountain and to the church grounds.
The two friends ran down to the beach and looked around at the wild pokemon.
"Rah?" Riolu asked.
"I think it would be good to get a water type," Izuku said, looking around.
"Osha!" an Oshawott said, jumping at Riolu using tackle.
"Riolu, use focus punch!" Izuku said.
"Rah!" Riolu yelled, punching the otter pokemon.
"Oshawott!" the pokemon yelled.
"Rah!" Riolu yelled back.
"Quick Attack go!" Izuku yelled.
"Rah! Rah! Rah!" Riolu yelled, as it moved faster than the eye could see.
"Oshawott!" the wild pokemon yelled as it was thrown back from the hit. "Osha?" it asked, lying on its back stunned.
"Now pokeball," Izuku said, throwing the ball at the downed pokemon, causing it to glow red before it shook three times and stopped. "We did it Riolu! We got Oshawott!" he yelled, going up to the pokeball and picking it up.
"Rah!" Riolu shouted.
"Let's go find Kamado and get started on training," Izuku said, turning back and running back to the mountain. Once they started climbing the mountain they came to an issue. "I can't find his place. Riolu, can you sense him?"
Riolu closed his eyes and felt out with his energy before opening them again. "Rah!" he said, running off in a direction as Izuku followed.
The two of them ran till they came across a clearing. Izuku sat behind a bush as he watched Tanjiro hold a katana and there were two horns coming from his head. Tanjiro then spun his sword around and water formed as he finished his final slash. He sighed and put his sword back in his scabbard.
"You two can come out," Tanjiro said, looking at the two as his form shifted back to its normal look.
"How did you know?" Izuku asked, walking into the clearing.
"I sensed your Ki or Aura as it's called when pokemon use it," Tanjiro explained. "You want to know how I did that don't you?"
"Yes, is there water stored in your sword or the scabbard and how does it just come out in the last slash?" Izuku asked faster than a normal person would.
"Well, it's through the use of Ki. You thought it was my quirk didn't you?"
"It isn't? How?" Izuku asked, trying to figure it out.
"First things first. Let's see that new pokemon you have," Tanjiro said.
"Oh yeah, Oshawott come on out!" Izuku yelled, putting his ball up.
"Oshawott!" the pokemon said, jumping up.
"Oh, an Oshawott. A good pokemon, I assume there's a reason or was it just the first one you found?" Tanjiro asked.
"A bit of both, I wanted a water type and he was the first one," Izuku explained.
"Ah, why a water type?"
"They are strong against fire, rock, and ground types all of which would be useful in hero work," he explained.
"Ah, you are really thinking ahead aren't you? Well, let's get started. My quirk is called Demon Transformation. It was why I had horns," Tanjiro explained. "As for the water, that was from using Ki, specifically a technique called Total Concentration Breathing. There are multiple types of techniques; Ki sense, TCB, Concealment, Meditation, and many more. I only know a couple of Ki techniques but there are some heroes that know most so you can ask them to train you once you become a hero," Tanjiro explained.
"How do I do this?" Izuku asked.
"We start by having you learn to breathe."
"What?"
"You aren't breathing correctly. This is what you are going to do, you will run down a trail, but I will give you a warning I was not given by my master. There will be traps oh, and your pokemon can help you. Since it's getting late I want you to come meet me at seven in the morning everyday until school starts up. We can change your regimen then," Tanjiro said.
"Yes Master Kamado," Izuku said.
"Just call me Tanjiro, no master or anything," he laughed.
"Yes Tanjiro," Izuku corrected.
"Rah!"
"Osha!(?)" the new pokemon asked.

Dear lord this was difficult to write and it was because I wasn't sure what all I wanted ki/chi to do. The reason I'm writing it like that is because some will refer to it in each way and for different techniques. I'm not sure what all abilities Izuku will be getting and have been making a list. His main ones will be TCB and Anti-Magic/Quirk but there will be smaller ones like ki sense, concealment, and meditation.
