It was a day off and everyone was playing volleyball. "Like what you see?" Pop teases Apollo who was sitting on a bench. Most of the guys had taken off their shirts a while ago.

"Oh yeah," Apollo laughs.

"Hey Apollo, come join me. Mav just left," Goose shouts over to her.

"Sure Goose." Apollo stands up and walks onto the court.

"You any good at volleyball?" Goose asks.

"I played volleyball in high school," Apollo tells him.

"Then you serve first." Goose passes her the ball.

"You boys ready?" Apollo calls out to Iceman and Slider.

"As I'll ever be sweetheart," Slider replies. Apollo takes a few steps back. She tosses the ball in the air, jumps and hits it with a crack. The ball goes flying over the net and hits Slider right in the chest. "Aww," Slider cries, bending over holding his chest.

"Don't call me sweetheart. Sweetheart."

"Way to go Apollo," Pop cheers from the sidelines.

"How'd you do that?" Goose asks.

"Three time girls state volleyball champion. I wrestled in the winter. Ran track in the spring and beach volleyball over summer break," Apollo reveals.

"Damn a triple threat," Goose laughs.

"Well Ice since your man is out how about we settle at a different time. Pop and I have plans," Apollo proposes.

"Sure," Iceman agrees.

"Great. Pop, let's go." Apollo walks off the court and to her car. Pop follows.

"See you boys tomorrow." Pop waves out the window as Apollo pulls out and starts driving down the street towards the town. "So what's the plan Apollo?"

"Dinner," Apollo states.

"Sounds good to me. Anything else?"

"Nothing right now." Apollo turned onto a long empty stretch of road.

Pop looks over to Apollo. She had the same look on her face when she's about to do something dangerous. "Apollo no." The car starts to speed up.

"Apollo, yes." The car hits 50. Then 60.

"Apollo slow down this isn't a jet where you have mostly free reign of how fast you're going," Pop pleads. The car hits 70. "Kate slow down, I'm serious!"

"Alright I'm sorry." Apollo takes her foot off the gas and starts to slowly press on the brakes until they're down to a reasonable speed.

"Thank you," Pop bearthes.

"Didn't know you'd be afraid of that," Apollo sorta apologizes.

"You've known me for like five years and didn't know I don't like fast cars?" Pop asks.

"I did not because we don't talk that much about our private lives," Apollo explains.

"Then lets start tonight," Pop offers.

"Yeah. That sounds nice." Apollo smiles as she turns again and pulls into a small diner.
