Apollo, Goose, Maverick and Pop were waiting in the airport waiting for Goose's wife and son to land. "I told her how tough it is here. You know, my ass dragging like an old, tired dog. I told her that Mav didn't even have a woman here," Goose explains to the group
"Oh really," Maverick huffs as he looks out the window watching a group get off a plane.
"You know what she said? Said. Oh, he probably doesn't have one, he's got eight," Goose jokes with Maverick.
"I can't wait to meet your wife Goose," Apollo tells him.
"You're gonna love her." Goose smiles. Goose looks out the window. "Oh I see them. You guys want to join?" He stands up and picks up the gift for his son.
"I'll join. What about you Pop?" Apollo stands up to follow Goose and Maverick outside.
"I'll pay the check then join."
"Alright be back soon." The group of three walk outside. Once the three were outside Goose ran down the stairs to a woman who screamed once she saw him. Apollo and Maverick stayed back watching Goose interact with his wife and child.
"I kinda wish I had something like this," Apollo reveals to him.
"With who?"
"I don't know but I would be Goose and my husband would show up just as excited as his wife is," Apollo continues.
"I don't see you settling for anyone Apollo," Maverick tells her as Goose, his wife Carol and his son Bradley start walking towards them.
"Well, the same goes for you Mav."
"Hi Carol," Mav greets as the group walk up to them.
"Hi Mav. How are you holding up?" She asks.
"I'm ok. How are you and Bradley?"
"We're great and who is this?" Carol turns to Apollo who was standing there awkwardly.
"I'm Apollo," She introduces.
"How do you know these two?"
"I'm a pilot at Top Gun. First woman ever."
"Way to go. Oh. I'm Carol and this is my son Bradley. It's nice to meet you."
"You too." Apollo bends down to Bradley who was playing with his new gift, a model plane. "Hi Bradley. It's nice to meet you."
"Do you fly planes too?" Bradley asks holding up his model plane to her.
"Oh yeah. I'm amazing at it. When I broke the sound barrier for the first time I won a metal," Apollo tells Bradley with a large smile.
"Cool," Bradley exclaims. Apollo looks down at her watch and then stands up quickly.
"Hey. I have to go but I'll see you two in class and Carol. It was nice meeting you."
"You too Apollo," Carol hugs Apollo. Apollo waves to Maverick and Goose then goes back inside to get Pop.
