Author's Notes: Okay! Got a couple reviews so, I was happy Here's "Chapter Two" of my little drabbles! If anyone has any suggestions or requests for me to use just post it in a review! I'll definitely take what you guys say into consideration! In this new chapter, this was a suggested word by a friend and this literally was the first thing that popped into my head! 002. Equals
Since he has confessed his love for Riza, he had finally been faced with a rival he could not take down. Part of him was uncomfortable falling into second place after any other man in her life. With her father gone, he felt he had earned the number one slot in her life for taking care of her and loving her the way he did. He was truly bewildered by the way he felt. What did his new arch enemy have that he, Colonel (and future fuhrer) Roy Mustang, did not?
"You should have known I would confront you about this sooner or later," Roy said as he sat down behind his desk. Now, he had his chance. He would put finally put his foot down. "You may walk her to work and comfort her when she's upset. Hell, you may even sleep with her more than I get to, but she's still my girlfiend. And I think it's time we started to see each other as we truly are in her life". He lowered his head so they were nose to wet, black nose and Black Hayate cocked his head in confusion. Roy said the last word with finality and a fire in his eye only he could possess: "Equals".
Author's Note: Hope you all loved it as much as I did This was actually pretty fun to write and I could actually picture poor Hayate sitting in the floor next to Roy's chair looking utterly confused! Lol Well, reviews are extremely desired and I will be updating again soon!
