Chapter 12 Calamity War part 1: Back to Earth:

"Can't you make this bird go any faster?" Sasha asked for the billionth time.

The four teens and the Planters were flying to Andrias' castle to save Marcy. Anne's eyebrow twitched before turning to her.
"I'm trying, Sash!" she said.

Darcy turned to her.

"Maybe if you'd stopped distracting her, she can focus," they said.

Sasha glared at him.

"My best friend is getting taken to the bastard that stabbed her in the back with a flaming sword so sorry if I'm worried!" she shouted.

"You think I'm not worried!? I've spent four years with Marcy trying to keep her safe!" he shot back.

"Well, you did a good job!" Sasha said, sarcastically.

Darcy growled and was about to beat her ass. Anne had reached her breaking point and turned to them, blue eyes blazing and her hair turning blue.

"ENOUGH!" she shouted.

Darcy and Sasha stopped their argument. Anne took a breath before calming down.

"We're all worried about Marcy but that doesn't mean we have to go at each other's necks. The only thing we can do is hope that whatever's going on, she's okay," she said.

The others nodded and Anne turned back to the front.

'Please be okay, Marcy,' she thought to herself.

At the Castle:

Andrias was in the throne room looking out the window when a robot walked into the room.

"Finally, leave us. We have so much to discuss," Andrias said.

The frobot left the room. Andrias shook his head.

"Honestly, how can they make such a stupid mistake.." he said.

He pressed a button on the remote and orb disappeared. Marcy grunted as she fell on the ground.

"Marcy Wu," Andrias said.

Marcy glared up at him as she grabbed her bow. Andrias put his hands up in mock surrender.

"Come on now Marcy, aren't we friends?" he said with that sick smile on his face.

Marcy's glare hardened as she gritted her teeth.

"We're not friends," she growled.

She loaded her bow.

"You made that very clear!," Marcy snarled.

Andrias shook his head.

"Still clinging to the past eh? That's not healthy, Marcy," he said.

The hairs on her neck stood up and Marcy rolled out of the way to avoid getting shot. She grunted as she landed on one knee in a crouch. Marcy fired an arrow, hitting the robots. Using a bit of her powers, Marcy teleported between two robots and kicked them, knocking their heads off. She landed on her feet as more robots surrounded her. Marcy teleported away, making the lasers hit where she once stood. Marcy reappeared in the air. She loaded five more arrows and let out a scream of rage as she shot them. The arrows went around the room, striking every robot down one by one. Marcy landed on the ground, panting but she wasn't done yet as more and more robots filled the room. One of the robots' hands turned into an ax and ran at her. Marcy stepped back as she dodged the sword. She kept dodging as the robot swung at her. Marcy grunted as she fell to the ground. The frobot brought its axe down. Marcy lifted her bow up to block it but ended up getting it sliced.

'..Crap..' she cursed in her head.

The robot lifted its hand and Marcy rolled out of the way just as the sword was brought down. She jumped to her feet and punched the robot in the face, its head landing on the other side of the room. Marcy felt her hands stinging and looked down to see her knuckles and palms were bruised and bloodied. Another robot, this time with a flame sword, jabbed at her. Marcy turned to avoid it but the blade got caught on her vest, cutting through the layers of clothes and nicking the left side of her torso. Marcy fell to the ground. She placed a hand on her side and felt blood running down her sides. Marcy glared up at Andrias as he clapped slowly.

"I have to admit, you've gotten stronger over the past years," the giant salamander said.

Marcy held her side as she got to her feet. Andrias sighed.

"Listen Marcy, I don't want to fight you, it's not too late for you to join me," he said.

Marcy looked at him before chuckling.

"Now I know you're insane. You really think I'd join you?" she said.

Andrias looked at her.

"Because, no matter what you say, you and I are alike," he said.

Marcy clenched her fists.

"I am nothing like you. I may have made mistakes but I at least felt remorse for what I did unlike you! You betrayed people, you killed a 16 year old kid just to make some entity for your ancestors who are just as worse as you! I did something that was beyond stupid, I can admit that but you're a liar, a murderer and a tyrant! Don't compare me to you!" she shouted.

Andrias sighed.

"Well, I tried. You were always a stubborn one," he said.

Marcy looked at him confused until she felt a prick in her neck. Her hand flew to her neck to feel a dart. Her vision began to blur. Marcy fell to her knees before collapsing to the ground.

"Let's see how long you can last until your friends arrive," she heard Andrias say before it went completely dark.

A few minutes later:

Everyone grunted as Joe landed on the east side of the castle. As the others climbed down, Darcy turned to Joe, petting his head.

"I'll bring her back, I promise," he said.

The group snuck into the nearby window and they quietly moved through the corridors to the throne room. The three teens drew their swords before stepping inside with the four amphibians behind them. Sasha looked around.

"Is it just me or is it strangely dark in here?" she asked.

Suddenly, a small light shone in the middle of the room, showing a person on the ground with her arms tied behind her back, her head lowered.

"Marcy!" Anne cried.

Upon hearing her name, Marcy looked up as the group ran towards her and started to pani, trying to warn them but her words were muffled because of the cloth around her mouth.

"Don't worry I've got you," Sasha said.

She pulled the gag down off of Marcy's face while Darcy bent down to unlock the bindings.

"What are you guys doing here?" Marcy asked.

"You really think we wouldn't come after you? Get with the time, sis," Darcy said.

Marcy shook her head.

"No, it's not that. It's dangerou-" Marcy tried to say before getting cut off.

"Marcy, you're our friend and Anne's girlfriend, we're not leaving you to die," Sasha said.

Darcy had finally got the bindings untied.

"Okay, now le-"

Darcy was cut off by the lights turning on and the group saw multiple robots surrounding them. Sprig turned to Marcy.

"You were trying to tell us it was a trap, weren't you?" he asked.

Marcy nodded. The sound of someone clapping went out through the room, making everyone put their weapons up. Andrias walked out from the shadows.

"Nice to see the whole group together," he said.

Sasha stepped in front of the others, swords drawn. Andrias chuckled.

"Protective as always, eh Sasha? And Corbin, it's good to see you made friends," he said.

Darcy growled.

"Call me that name again and that will be the last name you'll ever say," they said.

Andrias smirked.

"Looks like I've struck a nerve. But you're not exactly in a situation where you can make empty threats," Andrias said, smugly.

Marcy smirked.

"That's what you think," she said.

Marcy pulled multiple smoke bombs out her pocket before throwing them at Andrias' face. The giant newt cried out as he rubbed his eyes. Marcy grabbed Anne's wrist.

"Come on, I know where the box is," she said, running off.

Andrias' vision had cleared and he growled when he saw the group running away. He grabbed his falmming sword.
"Close all of the exits! Make sure they don't escape!" he demanded before following them.

The group ran through the corridors until they came to an ancient door. Darcy blinked.

"The old control room?" he asked.

They all ran inside. Marcy saw the box on a pedestal. She grabbed the box.

"I hope you remember how to work that thing," Sasha said.

'So do I,' Marcy said in her head.

She tapped on the three gems and they started to glow.

"Yes!" Marcy cheered.

But her cheer was cut short as Andrias ran towards them.

"Give me that box!" he shouted.

Startled, Marcy dropped the box.

'Oh crap,' the four teens said in their heads.

A bright light went out throug the room, nearly blinding everyone in the room.

Minutes later:

Marcy groaned as she opened her eyes. When she did, she was met with the blue sky of Earth. Her eyes widened and Marcy shot up. She looked around to see green trees, houses and the sound of speeding cars filled her ears. The others stood up, groaning. Darcy looked around.

"Where are we?" they asked.

Marcy turned to Anne and Sasha who were looking around in surprise.

"Anne, Sash…I think we're…" she began.

Anne looked ahead of her to see her house.

"Home…" she finished.

Sprig stood up and looked around.

"So this is your house?" he asked.

Anne nodded as the front door swung open.

"What's going on out here?" a Thai man asked as he walked out of the door with a Thai woman behind him.

Anne gasped and ran towards them .

"Mom! Dad!" she cried.

The two adults gasped as their daughet ran towards them.

"Anne!" they cried, running towards her.

Anne and her parents met in the middle and embraced one another tightly. Oum looked at Marcy and Sasha.

"Marcy? Sasha?" she asked.

The two girls waved at them.

"Hey, Mr. and Mrs. B," Sasha said.

Marcy waved nervously at them. She didn't really know how she should explain the whole music box thing to her girlfriend's parents.

The Boonchuy family broke the hug.

"Where have you girls been?" Bee asked.

"You've been gone for so long, we thought something bad happened," Oum said.

Anne rubbed the back of her neck.

"It's a long story," she said.

Darcy looked up at the sky and paled.

"Um…that might have to wait," he said.

Sasha turned to him.

"Why?" she asked.

They pointed to the sky.

"He's here,"

Eveyrone looked up to see Andrias' castle floating in the sky.

"Aw Crap…" Marcy said.
