Uh how should I start this I literally have no excuse for not updating any of my stories all I have to say is that I am horrible at being consistent so if anything in this chapter sounds, I guess odd just know I haven't written anything in a hot second. And I know I said I had no excuse but this being written in different times so my excuse for not posting is I couldn't find the AoT script I was following. Anyways hopefully the people that were originally following me are still here. I'm sorry but one more thing I felt like last chapter end was a little rushed so if somethings in this chapter feel a little slow or drawn forgive me I just don't want my chapters to seem fast, also I want to know if you guys want me to throw in some filler after this arc is done please leave a review, because even though its my story I'm still a amateur at this whole writing fanfiction thing and help would be appreciated you can reach me on discord my name is Yasaska#3913 pm me or leave a review for new ideas.

Titans.

The smell of Titans, flesh and blood assaulted Naruko's nose as she flew with Mikasa who in spite of everything going on seem to be calm but Naruko know she was everything but that she could sense it. But Naruko would not taunt her now because with everything going she was starting to find worry in her heart because she could not find Annie and Naruko not finding her would lead Naruko to the brink of insane titan in about 16 hours, so for everyone's sake she needed Annie to pop up. With her assessment of the situation out of the way she thought she would make some small talk with her at the moment companion.

"Know where we going or are you just trying to lost me" Naruko said while she kept pace with Mikasa on their ODMG(omni-directional Movement gear).

But as Naruko expected she got no response, but determined she went at it again.

"And why did you leave Dietrich you know its not safe for a pretty girl to be alone" she again got no response but instead this time she sped up but it wasn't to lost Naruko it was to reach a pillar like building.

As Mikasa landed on the roof of the building she spotted a group of fellow soldiers.

"Huh?... They should've heard the bells that signaled for retreat, so why aren't they climbing the wall yet?" Mikasa said before looking towards Naruko who to Mikasa's surprise was already on the building but that wasn't what surprised her it was the fact that Mikasa didn't hear her at all not even the subtle clunk of the ODMG. She would've said something about it but right now wasn't the time so she decided that she would just take Naruko's input on the matter at hand.

"Those pathetic people are probably out of fuel" Naruko said in a tone of disgust.

"But they would have known that they were close so why not go to the supply compou-" Mikasa was cut off as she looked to the supply compound to see it overtaken by titans.

As Mikasa was just figuring this out Naruko on the other hand she was silently raging in her head she was annoyed on how pathetic these people were an even considered transforming right now just to end there misery. She could hear there screams of terror and if she wanted she was sure she feel that they were hiding under desk like idiots. But despite the pure hatred she possessed for these people she couldn't let it mess with her sanity she wouldn't go down the same path Reiner was going down she wasn't that dumb. Leaving her thoughts and opening her eyes she looked at Mikasa.

"Your people are so pathetic" Naruko whispered to herself under her breath before saying.

"you should go over the wall anybody else is probably out of fuel or dead"

"No! I'm going to go find Eren and Armin" Mikasa said firmly.

"suit yourself I wont argue with you all I'm going to say is they're probably dead already and in if that's the case you will be dead too without any fuel where do you see yourself because where I see you is in the lonely pit of a titan stomach drowning in there guts" Naruko said in a cold emotionless tone.

Not giving Mikasa a chance of a response Naruko jumped off the building using her ODMG to speed through the city as if it was the easy thing to do and in a few short seconds Mikasa lost all sight Naruko But what Mikasa didn't lose was what Naruko said and if she was going to make sure it didn't happen she needed to go now.

As Naruko sped through the air she landed after 6 buildings to stomp on the ground and to anybody this would seem super odd and even dumb but for Naruko it was the second most important thing to do right now cause if she didn't she wouldn't have already found one full gas canister, she took it from some dying soldier her goal was to find three more it was essential for when she found Annie and even though she knew Annie wouldn't die here it wasn't for that it was for if she was running low on fuel which Naruko knew she most likely was. So continuing her search she went closer and closer to the breached wall it was a dangerous strategy but if she wanted to find almost fuel canister it was there. And like clockwork after 5 more buildings she found two people boyfriend and girlfriend it looked like, they were still breathing taking cover in a house one was perfectly find but the female wasn't it looked like The girl was cradling her stomach and was wounded on her right leg with a long gnash running down the length of her leg. Naruko wanting to scout out the surrounding area, stomped on the ground sending shock waves that went on for about 6 buildings before quickly returning to her in that time of the shock waves going out Naruko focused on the couple and in closer inspecting the girl looked pregnant and to any other person they would have helped them get out of there, but Naruko wasn't one of those people so without any further planning she shot her ODMG to the building they were in before she pulled her hood up and shot in the direction of the building. Bursting through the window she heard a gasp from the girl and a startled grunt from the man but once they saw Naruko's modified uniform they calmed down a considerable amount.

"have you come to save us" The women asked hopeful almost relieved tone.

"Miko Honey don't be ridiculous if she's not from Levi's squad there's no hope she could save us" The Man said in a non reassuring tone.

"If she's not from Levi's squad who is she Makeda" Miko responded.

"good question, who are you soldier" Makeda asked before stepping back frighten when Naruko leaned her head back a little so her eyes were showing and said in a dark tone.

"Your death" rushing forward with blinding speed she reached Makeda in less than a second slicing at his neck as if he was a titan but in the end it didn't matter because human or titan one slice to the neck will kill and so Makeda was dead but that left his girlfriend Miko who in that one second that passed reached for her own swords in her doing so made Naruko realized they were both garrison soldiers.

"Why?!" Miko screamed while grabbing her swords and putting up a loose dual sword guard.

"it was going to happen either way I just put you out of your misery faster" Naruko said while grabbing her other sword and rushing Miko. It wasn't even a challenge for Naruko as she pierced Miko's stomach she used her left blade to decapitate her ending them in under 30 seconds.

Claiming her rewards aka Gas canisters she strapped the rest of them to her back and put her cloak on before she made her way out of the house and back towards the supply station in a attempt to find Annie.

Connie and Jean are on the roof of a building with a bunch of other soldiers.

"Hey, Jean! What do we do now?" Connie said.

"What can we do?" Jean said in a broken tone before continuing.

"We finally received the order to retreat, but we can't get over the wall because we're out of gas. We're all going to die.. Thanks to those fucking cowards."

"You mean the support squads?... What happened to them? Are they all dead?" Connie said in a concerned tone.

"They probably lost their will to fight. I understand how they feel... But I doubt they've abandoned their mission and barricaded themselves away in the HQ. I'm guessing the Titans have them surrounded, which is why they can't supply us with gas." Jean replied.

"That's exactly why we have no choice but to go all in on those Titans! Sitting here and waiting to die isn't going to make a difference! The Titans are going to surround us, too! If we keep running away from them, we'd just end up wasting the little gas we have left. Once we lose our agility, it'd really be over!" Connie said stressing the point.

"I never thought I'd hear you make an intelligent comment, Connie." Jean said in a bemused tone before continuing.

"But how do you suppose we do that with the forces we have left? The vanguard has nearly been wiped out. Moreover, which one of us cadets could possibly take command of such an operation? Not that we could do anything about the Titans even if someone took command. The gas storage is probably crawling with 4-meter class Titans by now. And of course we can't fight them inside the storage."

"Krr… So it's hopeless?" Connie said frustrated.

"I had such a boring life. If someone told me beforehand…" Jean said leading off and into his thoughts.

"Let's do it!" Sasha said before she elaborated.

"Stand up! If we all work together, we can do it! I'll be in front!" although thoughtful her words didn't have the intended effect so instead she decided to see if Armin could help, making her way over she said"

"Armin! Let's go together and-" She stopped when she see Armin's face with a look of dejection and derealization.

As hope seem faint and the will to live being sucked from their bodies, Mikasa lands on the roof running up to the group she calls for Annie.

"Annie!"

"Hmm?"

"I think I understand the situation. And I apologize for bothering you, but have you seen Eren's unit?" Mikasa asks.

"No, and I haven't seen anyone climb the wall either." Annie responds before continuing

"have you seen Naru- Naruko" Annie says.

"she was with me but then we spilt up, she told me to save my self and go over the wall" Mikasa said while filing move information away for later.

"that Women is so nerve racking anyways Armin's over there, though." Reiner said irritated.

Looking over at Armin she looked upon as he was sitting alone.

"Armin!" Mikasa shouted while running towards him.

"oh" Armin said out loud but inside his thought a lot different 'Mikasa?! Crap! How can I look her in the face?' 'I don't even deserve to be alive.' 'If I knew it'd come to this… I should've just died with him!'.

As Mikasa reaches him she kneels down while putting her arm on his shoulder.

"Armin, are you hurt? Are you feeling okay?" Mikasa says but gets no response and Armin continues to look down.

"Hmm… Where's Eren?" She asks triggering some kind of reaction in Armin.

But when Armin looks up her unanswered question is answered tears coming down his face he says.

"Our unit… The 34th cadet unit… Thomas Wagner, Nic Tius, Mylius Zeramuski, Mina Carolina, Eren Jaeger. All five of them have fulfilled their duty and died heroic deaths in battle!"

"No way…" Sasha says heart broken.

"So the 34th unit was nearly wiped out…" A random soldier says.

"If we fight the Titans, we'll end up like them." Another random says.

Kneeling down Mikasa says.

"I'm sorry, Mikasa. Eren died in my stead… I couldn't do anything! I'm so sorry!"

Kneeling down Mikasa places her hand on Armin's and says.

"Armin"

"Huh…?"

"Calm down. This isn't the time to be emotional." Mikasa said in false calmness and confidences.

"Stand up." she says while helping Armin up after he stands up Mikasa walks off.

"Marco. If we take out the Titans around the HQ, we can replenish our gas supplies and climb the wall. Does that sound correct?" Mikasa tells Marco.

"Yeah… But even if you're with us, there are just too many" Marco responds.

"We can do it." drawing her blades and standing Infront of everyone else with one blade pointed towards the sky.

"I am strong. Stronger than all of you. Extremely strong. I can kill all those Titans there. Even if I'm alone. You're either incompetent, or you're spineless cowards. How pathetic. You can sit here and suck on your fingers. Yeah, do that." Mikasa said in false confidence.

"Hey, Mikasa! What are you saying?, You wanna fight all those Titans by yourself?, There's no way you can do that!" multiple random soldiers shout.

"If I can't, then I'll just die. But if I win, I live. Unless I fight, I cannot win."

Mikasa says before she jumps off the roof.

"Hey!" Marco shouts but Mikasa isn't listening, But Jean still shouts.

"Your oratory skills are what's pathetic. Was the point of that to shock us into action? It's all your fault, Eren!" even still he raises his blade to the sky and says.

"Hey! Were we trained to let our comrades fight alone?! At this rate, we're going to turn out to be spineless cowards!"

"Ughh" Connie exasperates before Jean moves to follow Mikasa. And Connie follows after.

"I'm surprised to hear him say that." Reiner says before their group moves to follow Mikasa too.

And not wanting to be left as a coward Sasha yells "Hey! Cowards! Weaklings! Idiots! I'm coming too". Before jumping off the roof.

The rest of the soldiers move to follow Mikasa. As Mikasa flies through the streets, she takes down Titans.

"Hurry! Follow Mikasa! Let's keep this fight short! We need to kill them all before we run out of gas!" Jean commands

"Mikasa's just amazing. How can she move that fast?" Connie admires Mikasa skill meanwhile, Armin thinks 'She's using too much gas. She'll run out right away.' 'I don't care how skilled she is… Without agility, we can't do anything!' 'She's not in her usual cool-headed state… She wants to drown out her pain through action!' 'If she keeps this up…'

As if jinxed Mikasa's gas runs out. And she falls onto the roof of a building and drops her blades.

"Mikasa!" Armin yells while he flies off in Mikasa's direction, away from the group.

"Dammit!" Jean says before he looks at Connie.

"Jean! You lead the others! I'll go with Armin!" Connie answers Jeans unanswered question.

"No! I'm coming with you!" Jean says stubbornly.

"What are you talking about? There are more Titans left! We need your skills!" Connie says before flying off in Armin's direction while Jean continues to lead the group of soldiers cursing quietly to himself.

"Again..."

"It happened again…"

"I lost my family once again…"

Mikasa thought as she jump off the projection she landed on

"This pain is familiar. Will I have to start fresh once again?" Mikasa thought before she heard a titan approach.

As jean the others landed on a building far from the supply building Jean said.

"It's no good. We won't get close to the HQ. Unless we're prepared to make sacrifices."

"Uuhu… Ahh!" Tom says

"Huh?" Confused Jean looks down at a nearby street. He sees Tom without gas trying to climb up a building.

"Damn! He's out of gas!" Jean says before two titans run to the soldier on the ground.

"Stay away!" Tom yells.

"Tom! I'm going to save you!" A random soldier shouts while using his ODMG to try and save his friend.

Tom is grabbed by one of the Titans. The Random soldier flies in, ready to attack.

"Stop!" The random soldiers says But before he could reach Tom a another Titan grabs the soldier mid-air.

"Ahhh!" Tom yells before both him and the random soldier is eaten.

'Why couldn't I stop them?' Jean thought before continuing his thoughts frozen in place.

'Why didn't I stop them?'

'If I had stopped them, even if by force… this wouldn't happen.' while his thoughts continue another soldier is captured by a titan.

Jean, Marco, Sasha, Reiner, Bertholdt, and Annie watch from the rooftop as other soldiers die.

In the City, Mikasa is alone. She sits on the ground and removes the blade from her grip.

'This world is merciless…'

'It is also very beautiful.'

'I lived a good life.'

As a Titan approaches. Mikasa sits quietly as it reaches out to grab her. Before it can grab her, she cuts its hand. After she does, she jumps out of the way before it can crush her.

'Huh?'

The Titan reaches out to crush Mikasa again, but she jumps out of the way into a wall.

'Why?'

The Titan tries to crush Mikasa against the wall, but she evades again. Mikasa lands on the ground and rolls to a stop.

'I thought I'd given up.'

'Why am I still standing? '

'Why am I struggling?'

'Why?...'

The Titan tries to get up, but it falls over. Meanwhile Mikasa stands up.

"My life has no meaning anymore."

'What's keeping me going?'

The Titan gets back up and moves toward Mikasa. Mikasa turns around to flee, but another Titan, blocks off her path. As it started to approach Mikasa She heard the familiar gas release of OMDG and to her surprise Naruko appeared above the building towards the right of the green eyed titan that was blocking her path. Landing on the building Naruko said.

"what did I say! I told you would be dead, now look at you stuck between three monsters". After saying this Naruko dives off the building she was standing on before swooping down low to the ground and picking up Mikasa bridle style.

"wait! Naruko" Mikasa pleads for Naruko to wait and see what happens.

Heeding her words Naruko set Mikasa down two buildings away watched as the green eyed titan ripped the titan apart before Roaring so loud it made Mikasa cover her ears.

'A Titan… is killing… another Titan.' Mikasa thought

And this is where I'm going to end it at and yes I know this is not where the original episode ends but i have been writing since 2:00 am and now for me its 8:52 am. So like I said at the beginning Pm on discord or leave a review if you didn't like how something went or was pace please no flames
