Music Sounds Better With You – A Big Time Rush Fanfiction….

A/N – Well here is chapter three! Yeah finally! Sorry for the long wait everyone but I finally moved and am settled in some! Plus this chapter took me a while to write lol, but it is worth it!
I'm excited about this chapter and you'll see why. But anyway I own nothing from Big Time Rush! I do not own Lucky's song "Nothing Is Impossible" it is by Iggy Azalea, if you had not heard go listen to it, it is a good song! Anyway I own Kortney Hampton (aka Lucky), Casey and Mr. Randle as well as Randle Studios thanks! So enjoy! I plan to try and update soon again since things are settled down, but no promises, but I will try to update regularly thanks! I hope you enjoy! I will stop rambling now lol :)

Chapter 3
First Song Jitters Part One

I had been working hard to release my first single, "Nothing Is Impossible," to the world. Randle Records had me at the studio day and night the closer the release date came. I wasn't going to lie, and I was nervous about how everyone would react. Mr. Randle was already placing a lot of pressure on me about how this song needed to be number one, and we needed to kick Big Time Rush off the top spot of the hot one hundred song list. Speaking of which, Big Time Rush released their latest song, "Windows Down," and it soared to number one within the first few hours of the first day it was out and held the number spot for three weeks straight now.

Even though I wasn't thrilled about my encounter with James and Carlos, I still had to meet the other half of Big Time Rush, Kendall and Logan. I would be seeing them all for the first time this evening at an interview where we were announcing our summer tour after my single release, and the boys were going to spread some love and encouragement for fans to listen to my song. I had to admit, and the four boys were talented; no wonder they were so popular. They could sing, dance, and even not bad looking, but some of them didn't have the best manners so far. Maybe being on the road with the band wouldn't be so bad; I would get to know them better than just the first impression counters. I barely slept a wink last night, being super excited for today. It was my first song, and the world got a taste of Lucky Ophelia!

Getting out of bed, I got ready for the day ahead. I took a shower, brushed my hair, pulled it up into a bun, brushed my teeth, and got dressed. I was wearing blue jeans, a grey tank top with black words that say "Today Will Rock" on it, and I was wearing a tiny black overcoat. I put my wig on and smiled as I ensured the purple hair with pink highlights was straight before I went to the kitchen. From there, I started a pot of coffee, got my food together, ate, and drank my morning cup of caffeine while watching the tv. The Hollywood Gossip Channel was on, and I smiled while I relaxed.

"– Jett Stetson, the star of New Town High, will be walking the red carpet as one half of the popular Hollywood Power couple." Noah, the announcer, stated with a grin.

I had to spit my coffee out when I saw Jett was with a llama. Why Jett was going with a llama instead of his co-star, Jo Taylor, was a mystery to me. I shook my head as I laughed a little at the picture. Hollywood no longer surprised me. The man finished talking about that statement, and he finally moved on to the music announcements for the upcoming weeks. It was the part I was more interested in, and I paid close attention.

"In other news, this week in the music industry Big Time Rush still holds the number one spot with their latest single, "Windows Down," for the fourth week in a row. The boy band will later be on our show to talk about their song and some special announcements, so stay turned – "Noah explained as a picture of the music charts showed up. I shook my head and sighed; this would be hard to beat. He then appears again, saying. "– Along with continued released songs, we now go onto the new ones. Every week we will look at newly-released items everyone is talking about. Right now, Lucky Ophelia has been the talk of the music buzz. Fans are waiting for her to release her first song; the upcoming star has been dropping hints on her social media and on the record label. It is sure to be an amazing song! Come on, Lucky, let us know the details; we're all waiting!" Noah states with a grin as he chuckles.

I laugh at that before turning the TV off and setting my dishes in the sink for later. As soon as I place my dishes in the sink, there is a knock at the door. Perfect timing, I smile, rush to the door, and open it. I smile widely, seeing Casey before me. Today she was wearing a pink t-shirt with brown khakis and tennis shoes. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a ponytail over her left shoulder. She smiled at me as I appeared in view, handing me a piece of paper, no doubt my daily schedule.

"Good morning, Lucky; how are you?" Casey questions as she waits while I grab my purse, car keys, and lunch box. "Are you ready for today?"

"I'm good, Casey, thank you, and how are you? Good morning to you, and hell yes, I am ready for today!" I stated all at once, excited as I came out and closed the door, ensuring my apartment was locked.

Casey grins at me, and we exchange the boring greetings. As we get into the elevator, I smile while looking over the paper my manager gave me. The schedule was laid out, and I smiled, excited about it. I looked it over but stopped seeing something unusual about my daily plan. Looking up as the elevator stopped, Casey and I walked to Casey's car. Once inside the car, Casey turns it on and starts driving us to Randle Studio, the radio is on in the background, and I look at the paper once more, trying to decide if it is happening today. I sigh and finally break the silence…

"We're announcing my song release today?"

At first, Casey is silent but smiles at me and says, "Yes, we are! Congratulations, I'm so happy and excited for you and the world to hear your first song!"

"Aw, thank you, I'm super excited as well; I just can't believe it's already happening."

We arrived at the studio and parked before we headed inside. Once I clock in, we go to Mr. Randle's office on the third floor. As soon as we walk in, Mr. Randle looks up from his work and smiles, seeing us. He stays sitting and gestures to the seats, Casey, and I sit down and wait for him to start. After he is finished with his current task, he smiles at me.

"There's my soon-to-be star! Good morning, how are you? Are you ready to tell the world when your first will be out today?" Mr. Randle questions while he does a small happy dance in his seat.

I chuckle at his little dance and say, "Yes, I am so excited. When do we tell everyone?"

"At noon, when we join Big Time Rush for their tour press." Mr. Randle explains as he stands and starts to gather things. "Speaking of which, we will not be here today. Gustavo waits for us to meet him and his band at Roque Records."

I froze and looked at Mr. Randle in surprise, "I'm meeting Big Time Rush today?"

He nods, "Yes, that's right. Let's head over, and we can all ride together."

With that, Mr. Randle, Casey, and I walked out of Randle Studio and to Mr. Randle's car. We got in, and he drove us over to Roque Records. I was surprised at the size of the studio. It was bigger than Randle Studios. We parked in the main parking lot and got out. Walking to the entrance, we saw the posters of each band that had or is currently working for the studios. All the bands I listened to growing up when my parents weren't around. Boyz In the Attic, Boy Quake, and Angle Angle. Now his current band, Big Time Rush, was also in the window of their entrance. I sighed as we walked into the studio, excited and nervous simultaneously. Part of me was excited because I was going to announce the date of my first song, and the other part was nervous because I was going to be working with Big Time Rush, reencountering James and Carlos, but meeting Kendall and Logan for the first time. I only hoped this went well.

Upon entering, my eyes widened at how much bigger this studio was on the inside. It was so big that it had a map on the main entry wall for directions to where rooms were. Once we found which way we needed to go, we headed left into the center of it. After walking, we finally made it to the primary office where Gustavo's office and the lounge room were. I saw Gustavo waiting for us, and he smiled as soon as he saw us.

"Welcome to Roque Records; thank you for coming over today. I look forward to working with you all." Gustavo greets us as he smiles at us.

I eye Mr. Randle, and he too glances at me before he looks to Gustavo and smiles. "Ah, thank you for having us, we look forward to it as well, and the excitement of everything happening today." Mr. Randle finishes as he grins proudly.

Gustavo nods, "True, Lucky congratulations on your first song release announcement today." Gustavo eyes me but says it with a straight face; I nod and mouth a thank you. "Speaking of which, the boys are in the wardrobe right now getting ready for the press interview about the tour announcement. Lucky, why don't you get ready as well, and we will meet in a few moments." Gustavo suggests as he points to the room where hair, make up and wardrobe were.

I nodded and thanked him as I stepped inside with Casey behind me. We left the adults to talk. Casey and I entered the room, and I sighed in relief not to see any members of Big Time Rush in there. I met the workers and allowed them to prepare me for this press interview. During the whole time getting ready, I was nervous but excited. I was announcing the release of my first song, "Nothing Is Impossible," and I only hoped the world loved it just as much as I did. My thoughts were snapped back into reality when Casey called my name. They were done getting me ready, and I blushed at my outfit. It was a black t-shirt with the words "Rock Out" on them in purple, and I was wearing a patterned over-shirt tied around my waist and a pair of blue jeans and tennis shoes. I had a half-moon crescent necklace and wore the essential matching girly makeup. Smiling, I turned and followed Casey out the door.

We walked for a while once more, only to stop when we made it to the studio we needed to be. It was studio A on the first floor of Roque Records. Standing outside the door, I could see Gustavo inside talking to a bunch of people sitting in chairs (the press), no doubt. Cameras flashed, and the stage was being set up behind him as he spoke. I swallowed; this was it; my nerves were starting to come to me. Letting the fear creep in, I was about to speak to Casey when I noticed she wasn't there. I looked around for a moment before she approached me, tapping me on the shoulder. Jumping, I turned and looked at her in shock, not noticing who she was with.

"You scared me! I thought you were behind me, and you left me!" I state while sending her a playful glare as I cross my arms.

Casey chuckled, "Sorry. I had to go with Kelly and get the boys." Casey explained as she pointed behind her. "Lucky meet Big Time Rush."

My eyes widened as I looked up and past her shoulder. There indeed was Big Time Rush. James and Carlos were smiling at me and waving while bouncing in their places in excitement. Logan and Kendall were looking me over, no doubt trying to figure out who I was or if they should like me or not. However, as I looked all four of them over, I noticed my eyes drifted to Kendall. I didn't have too much time to get a close look, but something in me didn't want to look away from him, even though I knew it wasn't polite to stare. Sure I saw him in the pictures with the other three on the web but damn, but seeing him in person suddenly changed my perspective. When he noticed I was staring at him, Kendall smiled at me, and suddenly my stomach was feeling in knots as I gazed into his glimmering green eyes. I was about to speak when a voice yelled out, making us all jump this time. It was Gustavo calling for the guys. I watched as they entered the room, and the press/audience cheered. All I could do was wait for my turn as I thought about Kendall and that damn smile of his…

Yeah, she finally meet all four boys, sort of. Also her feelings for Kendall ahhh! I promise more interaction will come between Lucky and the boys next chapter. So stay tuned!
