Hey guys last week I got stuck up the Mt visiting family and we had some problems getting back down when we were planning so no update last week but we are back on Schedule now who is ready to figure out what happened to Vika?

Chapter 16

"Well where the hell is she?" Dimitris' face scrunches red, as his sweat beads down, to everyone else he seems pissed off but I can see that he's hiding the fear behind it.

"We're looking for her but without any idea where she went last night we're basically blind." Abe twists his face toward us. "There is one place we have yet to look, but I've avoided for obvious reasons."

Understanding lights Dimitris eyes, anger then relenting. He simply nods, never meeting my fathers eyes. "What? Where is it you think she might be?"

"It's a "club" here in town. " he seems exasperated when I stare back clueless. " It's a bloodwhore house." a deep breath releases as his muscle clutch "Sometimes wealthy morio will find a way to get young girls to come with them telling them it's the only, that the morios' family won't accept them together."

I can feel the very heavy turn of my eyes "And girls fall for that?"

Dimitri glints for just a split second "Not everyone is as smart as you. Vika is still young as much as I hate it she's naive."

"You think she was there?"

"If she was then…then there's no doubt they took her. It's the first place they would have hit." he wavers at the end.

"Daddy, why are you so sad?" Lennon comes down the stairs looking toward Dimitri with confused eyes.

He meets her pulling into his arms and holding her close. "I'm just worried about your auntie, But I'm sure everything will be okay."

Lennon snuggles into his chest. His phone vibrates in his pocket. I take Lennon so he can answer. I see Abe's name flash on his screen before he answers, walking into the other room.

"Come on, Lennon into the kitchen with grandma."

Fifteen minutes later Dimitri comes back in and takes my hand. "Abe found the man she was with. Will you come with me? I don't think I can do this alone."

"Let's go."

We drive through the town towards the far end. The farther we go the eerier it becomes. The sidewalks and buildings hung in a damp discord. The building we stop at is almost in complete crumples. Barely hanging by a thread. Even now a few girls sit dazed in the front marks clear on their necks. Eyes glazed paying us no mind. It sends a shiver down my spine. Thinking of Vika here makes my stomach wrech. We walk through the door and see Abe waiting in the lobby lit by candles, a very nervous looking and finely dressed Morio sitting twitching really in the chair cradled in the back of the room to the fireplace.

Abe straightens his jacket "This is Roland, he was…with your sister last night."

Dimitris fist clench white his chest moving rapidly. "What happened?"

Roland's face loses all blood "I didn't make her do anything, she came all on her own. "

Dimitri moves faster than a strigio gripping the boy's collar pressing him to the wall. All right time to step in before he kills him and we just got this started "Look he's pissed and I don't think he will take well to the whole 'she did what she wanted to thing'. So why don't you just tell me what the hell happened so I don't have to find a way to break my fiance out of prison for killing your skimpy ass?"

"We were … you know.." Dimitris' grip goes to his neck.

"Okay let's just skip right to the attack okay."

"They came in like it was nothing, they killed all the guards outside and just started taking was doped out there wasn't anything I could do for her. I got up onto the roof and hid until they were gone. They took her." he struggles against Dimitris' hand which only grows tighter turning his face to a nice shair of purple.

"Dimitri, you have to let go of him." my hand covers his. "Let go, he's not worth it."

Slowly his grip loosens softly, before turning briskly from the building . "I should strangle that little bastard! He just left her to be taken without a single thought. He deserves the worst."

"And that is exactly what my father will give him, we have more important things to worry about."

He nods but his eyes still show the fire churning "You're right. They took her, we need to find out if.." he breathes deep "If they turned her. I can't let my little sister live like that. I need to know her soul is at peace."

"How do we find out?"

"We'll have to look for her body along those that were killed."

Silently I try to be strong towards him but I feel my own fear eating away at my calm. If Vika isn't among the dead. He will go after her, if we don't find a body it could be me searching for him all over again.
