Shiro saw them walking from the mountain side below him one brow raising as he sat up at the first few a cigarette going into his mouth as he raised one brow. Monsters really did exist. That one mage was right in his theory. Shiro was quiet a smile coming as he tipped his head watching. Seeing the mage walking out with a Skeleton he chuckled softly. Dropping down he would land beside the monsters offering a polite bow. "..Welcome honored guests.. The warrior's guild welcomes you warmly Home..." Straightening up he smiled amusedly. "I am Shiro I will be your guide I assume you will all need temporary shelter?" A few monsters nodded slightly before Shiro smiled softly. "Of course.. If you'll follow me.." he would trail off before one foot would push a water tank back on it's tracks. "Careful there.." The workers got it put back in place before Shiro would move his foot resuming speaking. "There you go..Anyways.. If you'll follow me I'll take you to the Barracks.." The monsters were shown the upmost respect as the Warrior's guild worked to integrate them into society. Soon the mages were looking for possible candidates for the games. Guardians were chosen a few wanted nothing to do with the games instead some went to the warrior's guild some went to the cooking guild to open up restaurants or cafes. The ones that went to the warriors guild were given good starting jobs. Running deliveries learning the lay out of the town before moving up. One monster went into entertainment and was rather well liked by people. Another went to the science guild working to help humans understand the energy of magic and how it could be harnessed to create energy to run homes and businesses in the cities.

The first time it happened he thought nothing of it. It was simply a matter of right place right time nothing more. Sitting at his usual park bench was the Skeleton guardian. Sitting Shiro would just lean back tossing bread crumbs to the birds. They didn't seem too afraid of him one even landed on his knee as he sat. Looking over with some amusement the Skeleton finally spoke up. "They like you..You must do this often for them.." Shiro would look over curiously raising one brow."Hmm? Yea they know me..I do this every day why?"

"Huh thought so.." The Skeleton leaned back looking at the birds his head tilting. "..Tell me something..What do you think that odds are of anyone beating Chara?"

For a moment Shiro said nothing looking to the other before he spoke quietly. "Without intimate knowledge of the mage game rules..No one could.."

The Skeleton nodded slightly then spoke looking to Shiro. "..Gaster Sans..But call me G..."

"..Shiro and it's nice to meet you G.." Said Shiro offering one hand to the other shaking that hand. He raised one brow at the hand seeing the hole in it a chuckle coming. "Kinda holy aren't ya?"

G chuckled softly before nodding. "Good one..But..I was wondering if there were any boosts mages could give their guardians to increase the Guardians ability output.."

Shiro paused for a moment frowning looking thoughtful. "Hmm..A few.. But a lot of them mean the bond between souls must be strong.. They can also cause physical pain.."

G would sigh looking frustated before looking to the other. "You're from the warrior guild aren't you?" Shiro would tip his head looking amused before nodding slightly. "Yes..I am from the warriors guild…" G was quiet a moment before he spoke. "That means you investigate possible things having to do with the mage games don't you?"

Shiro sat up a little straighter now his eyes narrowed. "..Yes.. I do why?" G was quiet a moment before speaking softly. "Is there any way a mage can force a guardian to bond with them?"

Shiro would shudder before looking away his face pale. "Yea.. Yea they can.." G looked a bit taken back before looking away. "You seem to have intimate knowledge of this fact don't you?"

Shiro looked back to G before speaking quietly. "Yea.. I do..But listen I will look into it who do you feel was forced?" G would stand before stretching looking to Shiro. "..I think you all call her Chara.." Shiro narrowed his eyes before nodding slightly. "Very well I will look into it immediately.." He would stand offering G a polite bow before briskly walking off.

"Shiro to base I want you to pull up everything on the Guardian of the Bloody Mage.. and I mean EVERYTHING!" Shiro would end his transmission looking annoyed. How could he have not seen it? Chara suddenly gaining a monster guardian.. She threw him away like he was Trash. He would frown slightly before just heading back for base. Reaching his office he started digging. A forced bonding was akin to murder in the eyes of the guild. The act of forcing a bond was disgusting. It was highly against the law to force a bond.

Shiro dug more looking annoyed. There wasn't much to go on for this. Chara had kept most everything hush hush giving only enough information to please the science guild who did the mage games documents.

"..Science guild Alphys speaking how can I help you?" Came the meek voice. Shiro looked amused before speaking calmly. "Hello Alphys I hope you're enjoying your placement within the science guild.."

"Oh yes very much thank you Officer Shiro sir!" Came Alphys's bright response. Shiro allowed himself a moment to smile before speaking softly. "Alphys can you please send me the documents regarding the older laws of the Guardian and Mage bonding?"

"Oh yes I can have it brought over for you immediately!" Alphys said before hanging up. Shiro would chuckle softly, it was nice to have found the right job for her. He was not expecting Undyne to be bringing it though.

"Hey boss man Alphys asked me to bring this to ya.." Undyne would put a large box on Shiro's desk making him look amused. "Thank you Undyne.. Are you learning the town alright?"

"I got here didn't I?" Said Undyne dryly making Shiro chuckle softly nodding his head. "Of course.. And thanks.." Said Shiro before Undyne nodded walking out of his office.

Shiro would kick his feet up his eyes half closed as he read quietly. The more he read the more he noticed similarities between the effects of a bad bond and Chara's sudden rise. She'd forced the bond on her guardian. Effectively she was keeping the small monster captive. Shiro didn't like this. There was nothing he could do outright she hadn't broken any sanctioned laws. A sigh coming as he tipped his head looking amused. "Hmm… "

Shiro would be at the park the next day with a folder of his own as G sat down he held it out to the other. "This is the information regarding the questions you asked me yesterday.. I can't interfere with the mage games..But if Chara were to be killed her guardian would be freed.."

"You sound like you ate something that disagreed with you.." Shiro would raise one brow looking to the other before sighing softly. "Kinda..I used to be her guardian.. She disgusted me one too many times with her blood lust.."

G raised one hand before tilting his head. "Is that why you don't watch the mage games?"

"No..I don't want the games because their a waste..Of energy of time.. There is nothing more then people blowing off steam.." Shiro would tilt his head tossing bread to the birds looking down. "..There's no actual entertainment value to them.. If someone was to actually put effort into preforming then I might watch.."

G would grin slightly before speaking" You should watch the next one.. You might like it.." He couldn't give any more away then that it would ruin the surprise. Shiro would look amused before nodding slightly as G simply walked away.

The mage games came on and Shiro hesitated, what did G want him to see? Shiro eyed the TV remote before switching his TV on taking a drink of his beer. Beer that would be leaving his mouth in a few seconds as he stared at the TV screen his eyes wide. A mage was actually putting on an honest to god show.. Someone was making an effort. Grabbing a towel he cleaned up the mess while listening to the song being sung. Good song there he mused. He even watched the fight noticing the way G and Ryven made their fight more of a performance then a fight. He eyed the TV before shutting it off. It made him miss the fights. It made him miss the heart pounding escapades of it. A sigh coming before he just happened to see Chara in the stands watching the fight. He didn't trust her.

It took a bit but he would start to shadow Ryven and G. G knew he was there but Ryven didn't seem to notice it.

He kept the two well watched through their fights and afterwards would keep an eye on them till they got back to their apartment..
