AN: The events of Lagos are still playing on Wanda's mind and the team don't want to go out on assignments with her until they are permitted that she can be trusted. This takes place in Civil War.

Wanda was alone again in the compound whilst the other Avengers were out trying to convince World Councils that they could be trusted off a leash, as Sam was putting it, and as much as she liked Vision, he wasn't always the most talkative and he was acting more like a babysitter or a holder rather than a friend. Although she knew why Tony had put him in charge of looking after her, it was becoming annoying constantly being watched or checked on.

Wanda stretched, getting off her bed, then left her room in the direction of the main lounge of the Avenger's Compound. The compound was sterile and vast but at least the lounge was filled with sofas and various pursuits of entertainment which made it feel less of a warehouse and more like a home. She entered but froze upon hearing someone playing the piano that was tucked into the corner of the room looking out on the forest surrounding the building. From where she was stood, she couldn't see who was playing so assumed it was Tony or Rhodey, who could both play reasonably well, but as she walked around to the side of the room her eyes rested upon who she wouldn't have ever guessed; Vision. He sat side on to her position and his cape was swept back over the stool to the floor as he seemingly played to himself, but as Wanda kept walking drawn to the instrument his voice suddenly sounded.

"You've emerged."

Wanda jumped. "I uh, needed a change of scenery, that's all. What are you doing?"

Vision smiled. "I have heard Mr Stark play this and thought I could. I have accessed all I can on learning how to play. What do you think?"

Wanda blushed. "You're good," she said modestly thinking about how many hours she had spent learning to play the guitar. "For a beginner." That was also a lie, for he had just sounded like a professional. "Please don't let me interrupt you," she walked past the piano and stopped by the window looking out at the dark field, the music continued and she rubbed her arms with her hands.

"Are you alright Wanda?"

"I'm fine, under the circumstances."

"I read somewhere that when troubled, it's a good idea to distract yourself with something," he looked up at her. "Care to join me?"

Wanda turned to look at him as he patted the space beside him on the stool. "I don't know how to play."

"I'm happy to teach you," he offered.

With a sigh, Wanda made her way over to the piano and settled on the stool beside him blushing again when his hands took hers and brought them up to the keys.

"Copy what I play," Vision instructed and played a short passage of notes, then nodded to Wanda to play the same ones and she did. "Very good."

As she played, she couldn't stop a small smile forming on her lips and a giggle escaped as Vision lifted his hand over hers to play a note at the top of the piano and he moved closer to her side happy that something he had done had evoked a positive emotion from the young avenger. They brought the piece to an end and Wanda exhaled.

"You asked me if I was alright, and I am now. My mind was just so conflicted thinking about what happened in Lagos, and whether what I did was right or wrong. And being alone was making me feel worse."

"You're not to blame, Wanda. Your intentions were right, they always are."

"Are they?"

"From what I've seen and heard from others, yes. Captain Rogers thinks very highly of you too," he turned his head to look at her. "I am still learning human expressions and understanding complex emotions, but what I am piecing together here is that they don't fear you, they just fear what you could become."

"Is that supposed to make me feel better about my powers?" She stood up with a scowl.

"Ahem? Sorry to break up the little party here, but we have a situation developing," Natasha interrupted, striding into the room. "Stark wants us in the conference room. Now."

Vision watched Wanda walk over to Natasha and he got up unhappily, hurting Wanda in any way was never something he wanted to do whether it was emotionally or physically, and he followed them keeping his eyes on her until Rhodey stole his attention away with a friendly greeting.
