Chapter 1 : The Man Who's Gonna Be King of the Pirates! Part 1
Luffy stood there lifeless as he was looking at the corpse in front of him. The corpse of the man he always admired and wanted to be just like him, the man who was none other then the Shanks captain of the Red Hair Pirates.
"This cant be real"said Luffy.
"This is just a dream no a nightmare"said Luffy again.
Just then Luffy found himself in the same dark place he was a couple of minutes ago.
"This place again?Why?"asked Luffy when...
Luffy saw other horrible sights in front of him.
One was with a green haired guy tied to a crucifix being executed by the Marines lead by the same man that killed Shanks. Another sight he saw was two girls one with orange hair and one with blue hair enslaved by a something that Luffy has never saw in his life.
He was some kinda half human half shark with blue skin laughing like a total maniac.
Another sight showed a boy with black hair down on the ground in tears crying as he was witnessing the death of a young blonde haired girl in front of him.
"Kaya, please forgive me"said the boy to the dead girl named Kaya.
"Youre next"said a man in a butler outfit with a shotgun in his hand ready to shot the boy with black hair.
"Stop"said Luffy trying to contain his tears as he was seeing more and more horrible sights in front of him.
"Please stop!Please i beg of you stop showing me this, i cant take this no more"said Luffy very loud almost to the point of screaming with his tears falling down from his face.
No response was heard back for a couple of minutes when...
"Oops guess i went a bit overboard" said new voice that Luffy heard behind him.
Turning around Luffy noticed a very tall looking fellow covered in a black hood to hide his face and body.
Luffy wanted nothing more then to run away but something was stopping him from doing so.
After two minutes of silence that feelt more like an eternity Luffy finally spoke.
"W... who are you?"asked Luffy finally breaking the silence between them.
The tall hooded man looked at the young 10 year old boy examining him from head to toe when...
"Me?"asked the mysterious tall hooded man.
"Just a simple traveler that finally reached the end of his journey"said the mysterious man.
"Liar"said Luffy that caught the attention of the tall hooded man.
"Hahaha, sorry but i cant reveal my face and name toy you just yet Luffy"said the tall man surprising Luffy for knowing his name.
Luffy started to wonder if he meet this tall man somewhere before but nothing came to mind where he could have he meet this mysterious person.
"H...how do you know my name?"asked Luffy.
"Well... i have connections"said the tall hooded man.
"Are these sights you just made see youre doing?"asked Luffy.
"Maybe" said the tall man nonchalantly that angered Luffy alot.
"Why?Why did you made me see these horrible sights?"asked Luffy trying to somehow contain his anger.
"Consider them a warning that these things you just have witnessed are the things that will happen in the future Luffy"said the tall mysterious hooded man vanishing from Luffy's sight leaving Luffy all alone.
"Please ,wait"said Luffy when..
The ground started to dissapear with Luffy falling into the dark abyss screaming as loud as he could embracing himself for the impact.
In just the nick of time Luffy's eyes opened findidng himself at the same tree he rested. Sweating like crazy Luffy was glad to what he just saw was bad dream but to be sure he had gotten himself up and started to run around to village to make sure everything was alright.
And just like Luffy had hoped everything looked fine. The villagers smilled , chatting , little kids playing with each other no sight of the corpses or the flames that Luffy saw not very long ago.
With a smile on his face Luffy decided to go back to the pub and make sure of one last thing, that being if Shanks is trully alive.
Reaching the pub and opening the doors very loud and fast giving everyone a big scare that dissapeared reall fast when they noticed it was just Luffy.
If the customer have paid close attention on Luffy they would have noticed him sweating like crazy with swollen red eyes in the mix.
Probably from the dream Luffy had his body responded on instinct.
"SHANK , SHANKS" yelled Luffy so loud that he gained a bump in the head from the man himself Shanks for being outrageously noisy.
"Pipe down Luffy"said Shanks to him.
"Ouch"said Luffy but glad to see his hero all well.
"So whats up this time for calling me out like that Luffy?If you still wanna insist on asking me to take you with me then the answer is still no and it will stay like that until youl be full grown adult"said Shanks.
"Dont worry about that i am just glad to see that everything returned back to normal"said Luffy with a big smille on his face that left Shanks and the rest of the ReD Hair Pirates confused but decided to not pry on what was bugging Luffy since the Red Hair Pirates had other problems to deal with at the moment.
Luffy was a the bar drinking his favorite juice when what he hard next scared him so bad that he almost chocked himself.
"Axe-Hand Morgan has finally tracked us down captain , we cant stay any longer in this village captain"said Yasopp.
"Will leave at midnight hopefully that willl make us follow us instead going on a rampage"said Shanks.
Hearing the word Axe Luffy is reminded of that awfull dream he just had. But not before long Luffy put the pieces together coming to one single conclusion.
Visions?That word made Luffy recall what the tall hooded man told him.
Short Flashback...
"Consider them a warning that these things you just have witnessed are the things that will happen in the future Luffy"said the tall mysterious hooded man.
End of Flashback...
So...?Does that mean that the first vision he was was coming already?Luffy wanted to do something to prevent it from happening but what can a 10 year old boy do until...
"Aww man and this place had some great food"said one chuuby crewmate of the Red Hair Pirates eating like no tommorow lots and lots of meat from his table receiving alot of sweatdrops from the other crew member including the captain himself.
"It was bound to happen after no matter what ever since we found the legendary devil fruit "said Shanks putting on the table a metalic box he opened revealing some big purple fruit inside of it.
"The legendary devil fruit Gum - Gum"said Yasopp.
"Yes whoever eats this fruit will gain incredible powers but at the price of losing his ability to ever swim"said Shanks with a serious look on his face.
"I guess everything comes at a high price"said Yasopp.
"True but every pirate entering the Grand Line aiming to become the Pirate King knows that"said Shanks.
Devil Fruit? Pirate King?You cant swim ever again? What was Shanks speaking about wonderred now a very curious Luffy.
Makino a bartender working at the pub and bar at the same time called Partys Bar noticed Luffy a serious look on his face wondering why.
This person Makino is a young woman with brown eyes and black hair that goes up to just above her shoulders. Wearing a yellow kerchief, an orange blouse with black sleeves and a long light blue skirt and orange sneakers with white soles.
Ever since she known Luffy she acted as his big kind elder sister Luffy never had.
"Luffy is everything alright?"asked Makino making her way to him.
"Huh?Ohh sorry Makino just something on my mind dont worry about it"said Luffy.
Makino however knew Luffy was lying. She knew Luffy was a smart kid who can figure out many complicated stuff that even grown ups couldnt that pretty much everyone in Foosha Village.
"Are you sure?"asked Makino.
"Yeah i was only wondering what was Shanks talking about the whole Pirate King thingy"said Luffy.
Hearing this Makino remembered something from a discussion she was had with Shanks a long time ago.
Flashback...
"Wahhh , Wahhh" the cries of a young baby boy was being heard. The captain of the Red Hair Pirates was holding in his arms a baby boy with black hair.
"How do you make babies stop crying?" asked Shanks not knowing a damm thing about babies.
"Dont ask us captain. We are pirates not baby caretakers"said Yasopp.
"Maybe he hates our captain" said the chubby crew member.
"Huh? So its my fault?!"yelled Shanks to his crew member with shark teeth appearing in his mouth.
"Well youre not quite the most handsome guy on the sea"said Yasopp.
"Agreed"said the rest of the Red Hair Pirates.
"You jerks i swear you so damm cold sometimes"yelled Shanks at them with his shark teeth still on his face.
"Wahhh , Wahhh" cried the baby from all the commotion around him.
"Maybe he is hungry, so here eat up little fellow"said the chuuby crewmate offering his meat to the little baby.
"You fool babies dont have teeth"yelled this time Yasopp with shark teeth in his mouth at the stupidity of his fellow crewmate.
"Hmm maybe this will work"said Shanks looking at the baby when...
"Boooo"said Shanks making such a scary face that caught the attention of the baby but not in a good way.
The baby was about to cry again when out of nowhere a woman punched Shanks straight in the face sending him a few metters away taking the baby from his hands in the last minute.
"I cant believe you have the guts to scare off a little baby like that you idiot"said the woman to Shanks.
"Ouch"said Shanks only to see his crew on the ground laughing so hard at him .
"You jerks stopp laughing"Shanks to his crew with shark teeth in his mouth.
"Sorry captain but you kinda deserved that for scarying the little fellow"said Yasopp.
"Whatever, anyway who the hell are you and why are youre punches so strong"said Shanks rubbing the swollen cheek he was punched just then...
"Glad you asked. Wittness everyone the mighty and beauty of the greatest female in Foosha Village , none other then Makino" said the woman named Makino with a few explosions behind her like she just made her grand impact debut leaving the Red Hair Pirates all stripped of there colors leaving them all white seeing this kinds display in front of them.
After a couple if minutes of silence Shanks finally speaks even if he wanted nothing more then to back out slowly away from this crazy woman.
"Are you stupid or what?" asked Shanks with a sweatdrop appearing on his face.
