"Well old man it looks like it's just you and me. What a shame I thought Uchihas were not cowards" said Naruto as he sealed his torture staff while tying up the traumatized missing nin. Tazuna was stunned this kid was willing to risk his life to keep him safe. Naruto on the other hand was playing on the Uchiha's ego to get more support. If Sasuke agrees then Sakura would follow then Kakashi would have no choice but to continue the mission. And it worked like a charm as Sasuke's ego got the best of him; Sakura went all fangirl leaving Kakashi with on choice. So Kakashi summoned his ninja hound Pakkun and gave him a message to deliver to the Hokage to come and pick up the Demon brothers while they continue with their now A rank mission.

Now

It was quiet on the way to the Land of Waves and the reason for this was Naruto. The boy had shown a side of himself that no one expected. He extracted infor from the two nin in no time at all and very few genin can do that. Sasuke was stealing glances at Naruto who looked to be in deep concentration reading his book as they neared the river. Just what was the dope doing and how did he improve so much, he is the class clown for goodness sake but know he is making chunins squeal like squirrels. The dope was improving at a faster rate than him it must have something to do with the Uzumaki library that he only has access to. Well not for long as soon as they get back he is going to demand some of the material in the library along with some of those relics. Too bad he didn't know the dope has already surpassed him by miles. He decided to see if he could get the book the dope was reading.

"So dope what's so special about the book that you are reading anyway. I bet its boring as hell" Sasuke tried to start a conversation.

"Well if you must know I am comparing the original with this one and man let me tell you bro sure knows his seals. I mean the level of detail and explanations in this book are staggering. It makes the ones that wrote the original look like novices. So yes this book is very special. If mastered the level of sealing you can learn from this book is equivalent to level 7 and this book is just for level 5" Naruto said turning a page while his clone took down notes.

"So can I also read it. I mean we are a team after all" "Sorry dude no can do. This is clan property and only members of the clan can read it. What you are saying is like bringing out your clan techniques for us to learn and I know you don't want that. Besides this is a book for level 5 seal masters you will not understand a single thing in here" replied Naruto.

"Now now Naruto we are a team and teams do share their techniques don't you think" Kakashi eye smiled trying to get Naruto's defences down and possibly get the book. After hearing a little about the book he knew that the book was very valuable for the village so he had to get it.

"Sorry sensei but until the Hyuuga start teaching their taijustu style to all Konoha ninja and the Uchiha start donating their high level fire justu it's a no go" Naruto replied as they came to the river were they met Tazuna's friend who took them to the other side on his boat. On the way they got a glimpse of the bridge and Naruto had to admit it was an impressive bridge. When they got to the other side Tazuna's friend took off saying he risked too much just to get them there. So they continued on their journey into the mist which was becoming denser the more they moved inland.

Naruto sealed away his book before tensing as he took out a pair of kunai. The others in his group noticed the action.

"What's the matter dope scared of a little mist" Sasuke quipped. Naruto just looked at him with a serious face before looking at Tazuna.

"Mr Tazuna you might want to stay very close. And Sasuke now is not the time for your competitiveness. If you haven't noticed before it's very quiet and to top it off the mist is laced with chakra meaning that it's a justu. So it stands to reason that from the moment we entered the mist we entered a predator's hunting ground. In simple terms we are being hunted and the one doing the hunting is very good at hiding." Naruto replied while looking around trying to pinpoint the location of their hunter. While he was good at sensing, the hunter was moving around constantly and almost quietly so he couldn't get an accurate lock on and coupled with the chakra in the mist that was disturbing him he was gonna have to stealthily flood the mist with his own chakra to improve his sensory abilities.

Kakashi just looked at his genin again surprised. How did he know that the mist was a justu and how did he know that they were being hunted? Was he a sensor or something? His musings were cut short when Naruto through a kunai into a bush startling his teammates. Naruto just tisked as he approach the bush only to find a white rabbit. Sakura shouted at Naruto telling him not to scare everyone while Tazuna was busy stuffing his heart back into his chest that had leaped out when Naruto through the kunai. Naruto on the other hand was a different story.

"Shit shit shit big sis Kaguya is gonna kill me if the little guy is dead. Come on little buddy are you okay speak to me" Naruto looked frantic as he picked up the rabbit started to gentle cuddle it while checking for a pulse. This earned a sweat drop from his team and the nin hiding in the tree. After seeing that it's okay Naruto seemed to start a conversation with the rabbit getting even more larger sweat drops from his team and the nin hunting them. After finishing his conversation with the rabbit he let it go before turning to Kakashi with a sense of urgency.

"Sensei the little guy said that there is a no brows shark wannabe stalking us with a huge blade. He said that the bastard used him for a replacement to escape my kunai earlier." Kakashi was sceptical at first. Can Naruto talk to rabbits? That one looked like it wasn't a summons like the one he heard about Shiro if he remembered. But the rabbit did have white fur which means that it's an indoor pet so SHIT.

"GET DOWN" Kakashi shouted as he pulled Tazuna and Sakura to the ground. No sooner he do that a huge blade flew above them before embedding itself in a tree. Crouching on the blade was a ninja (well guys you know Zabuza and I suck at describing people) who was looking away from them. Naruto thought that was a cool entrance until the nin turn around showing his face grinning menacingly showing his teeth.

"Holy molly those are some sharp teeth. No wonder the rabbit said this guy was a shark wannabe. I mean how long did it take you to sharpen those teeth" Naruto exclaimed while looking at the nin. Zabuza for his part blinked as he looked at the boy before turning his attention to Kakashi.

"Well what a nice group you got their Kakashi of the Sharingan. Didn't know you went and become a teacher of all things. Ha now that's something"

"Zabuza demon of the Mist what do you want?" Kakashi asked as he readied himself.

"Oh you know just the old man the rest of you can go" Zabuza said as he jumped down from his sword before ripping it out of the tree and hefted it in his shoulder with the blunt side showing his strength.

"Dude you do know you almost sliced our heads off with that blade when you trew it right? And know you say you only want the old. Do you think we are stupid or something" accused Naruto as he pointed an accusing finger at the missing nin who looked at him again with an amused expression. Naruto got a good look at his face before he noticed something or rather a lack of something. He blinked then blinked again to make sure he was seeing correctly before busting into laughter

"Hahahaha the dude shaves his eyebrows hahahaha now that's a new one. I only thoughts women do that (no offence to the ladies out there). So how many hours do you spend looking in the mirror while plucking out each eyebrow only to end up looking fucking ugly? You know instead of Demon of the Mist we should call you Fugly of the Mist. You look like a no brows freak show." If Zabuza had eyebrows, which he wished he did right now, they would be twitching violently but alas he didn't have them so he settles for a tick mark. Alright a lot of tick marks. Hiding in a tree somewhere a certain fake hunter nin wanted to be angry at the jab to his master but couldn't coz you know it was funny and all.

The rest of the gang broke into a fit of coughs to disguise their laughter but it was not helping. Kakashi had to thank Naruto for breaking such a tense situation. Naruto on the other hand was busy buying time flooding his chakra in a 50 metre radius trying to see if Zabuza had brought back up which he located hiding in a tree just 30 metres away. That's good his technique was almost ready. He did reminiscent when his brother brought up the idea.

Flashback

"So tell me gain why you are holding a hornets' nest" asked Naruto looking a bit disturbed the fact that D Naruto was holding a hornets' nest with a stupid grin on his face.

"Well you see you are a powerful sensor so we thought we could take your sensory perception to the next level. You can sense people and animals just fine and are able to judge their nature and intent. But that's all you can do however you have heard about some of the capabilities of senjutsu right like sensing attacks. What if we can replicate that with your sensory abilities? Since senjutsu utilises nature energy which is all around us you could flood your chakra around to simulate nature energy and use your chakra to sense and read attacks. It will come in handy fighting in the dark or when you are blinded" explained D Naruto looking at his counterpart.

"Yah I get all that. That was my idea in the first place! What I want to know is why hornets" shouted Naruto pointing at the hornets' nest.

"Because we couldn't find a beehive in time" came a reply from Kurama who was looking ecstatic for some reason. "We wanted to use bees because they are many in number so increases the difficulty of the training. Well beggars can't be choosers we work with what we have I guess"

Naruto just looked at her like she was crazy and judging by the crazy cackles coming from her yah she was crazy. "Don't worry bro all we have to do is blindfold you then you activate your Sensory zone then repel the hornets." Said D Naruto as he blind folded Naruto. What followed was the most painful experience in Naruto's life. Never ever piss of hornets or they get vicious. I mean they even got into his pants while he tried to sense them and defend himself.

End of flashback

Naruto supressed a shudder just thinking about the horrors he faced during that training session. But this technique would definitely be useful in this situation because relying on visual alone was not gonna cut it. Looking at their opponent who looked like he had reigned in his emotions he knew that the fight was gonna start soon.

Zabuza took a deep breath to calm himself down no need to let a genin get under his skin. He just laughed at himself for letting a genin almost get on his nerves, him the Demon of the Mist. That was laughable.

"Well you got a funny genin there Kakashi. But this isn't playing ninja brat its real. When I was a genin I killed my entire class during the graduation exams. You look like you have been sheltered so you won't last in the ninja world." The genin looked horrified this guy killed his entire class without betting an eyelash. They looked to their sensei for confirmation but the look he had on only confirmed that the story was true. It was official this guy was a loony who needed to be in mental institution.

Zabuza seeing that the team was not gonna give up their client without a fight increased the potency of the justu disappearing into it. "Well looks like time for talk is over. Let's see what your ninja wannabes can do against a real ninja" Zabuza spoke his voice echoing everywhere making it difficult to detect him by sound. Kakashi seeing the situation escalating brought up his headband covering his eye to reveal a red eye with three comma like marks in it.

"So you are using the sharingan this early in the fight huh. Well I am honoured although it's not gonna do you much good." The genin were surprised especially Sasuke. Only an Uchiha had the sharingan and their sensei wasn't one so how did he get it. Naruto asked what the sharingan was to which Sakura gave a detailed explanation of what it was and its capabilities. Go fangirl, knowing everything about your crush and nothing useful to save your life. Kakashi told to them that he would explain where he got the sharingan after they deal with the enemy. Kakashi then went into the mist and started fighting Zabuza. Zabuza made a downward slash which was blocked by Kakashi with a Kunai? Now that was just insulting. After trading a few blows Zabuza disappeared again into the mist before flooding the area with KI (Kill Intent). The genin and Tazuna were all scared except Naruto who experienced much worse Ki from Kurama and Kaguya when he ate like a pig at the dinner table. Women are scary when toy piss them off.

Naruto was wondering why Zabuza did what he did before his eyes widened. This was a strategy to weaken their fighting spirit so that he could easily slip past their defences. To prove his hypothesis Zabuza appeared in the middle of the triangle they formed to protect the client. Naruto reacted as quick as he could. He pulled down Tazuna while pulling out a sword and slashing at Zabuza getting him in the leg. Zabuza seemed stunned by this before dissolving into a puddle of water. Shit a water clone the real one was coming at them fast. Kakashi was busy dealing with another clone.

"He is coming fast for the client" Naruto shouted before blocking a slash from Zabuza cracking his sword. Naruto shouted for everyone to scatter as far as they could which they did as Naruto discarded the cracked sword and took Tazuna with him. Zabuza was about to follow before the cracked sword glowed then went BOOM. The other genin were pushed by the shockwave from the blast which cleared the mist enough for Sakura to find Sasuke and join him. Naruto also joined them with Tazuna in tow. So what happened with the sword? Well simple just an exploding clone transformed into a sword. Naruto found out that it was easier to make clone and transform them into weapons beforehand than doing it when the situation calls for it. So most of the weapons he had were transformed clones.

"What the hell was that dope" Sasuke was the first to recover. He was surprised that the dope had once again reacted better and held his own again an a rank missing nin. "Well my sword exploded that's what. The dude cracked my sword with a single swing." Naruto was gonna make sure that his transformations were strong enough to hold up against the likes of the legendary swords of the mist. Kakashi hearing the explosion quickly deduced that the one he was fighting was a decoy so fearing the worst he quickly killed the clone as the mist cleared he saw his team okay. Zabuza on the other hand managed to substitute himself with a clone or he would have been killed by the explosion. So he went after them again only to be intercepted by Kakashi.

"Your fight is with me Zabuza not them" Kakashi looked serious and so they went at it again but this time with the mist partially cleared by the explosion Zabuza was having a difficult time because of the sharingan. Kakashi was also having trouble as it had been a while since he fought a strong opponent and his skills had greatly diminished and coupled with the fact that he was using a kunai against a giant sword well you do the math. His hand hurt like hell from absorbing the impact the giant sword made as it clashed with is kunai.

Zabuza retreated to the river and Kakashi made the mistake of following leading him to be captured in the Water prison technique which was a ball of water which trapped Kakashi with Zabuza maintaining his technique by putting his hand on the surface of the prison. Now that Kakashi realised his mistake he told his genin run and take the client with them.

"If you haven't noticed sensei we are genin and he is a jounin plus we have a civilian we won't get far he would pick us off one by one" Naruto stated trying to find a way to get out of the situation without revealing too much. Zabuza just laughed as he created three clones much to Kakashi's horror. The clone advanced as the genin prepared although it should be noted the Sakura was shaking by know. Naruto created three clones too which engaged Zabuza's clones while he unsealed a kunai and a sword before giving them to Sasuke.

"Sasuke I want you to aim just a bit above Zabuza like you missed. Throw the kunai first then the sword" Naruto instructed as he watched his clones battle. Sasuke didn't like being told what to do but since the situation was dire he would do anything to survive after all he still had to kill his brother.

The clones battled it out with Naruto's holding their own. Naruto just gave the signal then his clones went BOOM taking out the water clones. Zabuza just blinked what the fuck just happened. He wouldn't dwell much on it as a kunai and a sword came out of the smoke created by the explosions aiming at his. Or they were but it seems the aim was a bit off so he just ducked a bit as the kunai passed him first. Naruto seeing this just smirked and Sasuke had to wonder what the dope was planning.

Just as the kunai passed Zabuza's head it transformed into an exact copy of the blond. Shit it was a transformed clone. The clone quickly grabbed the flying sword before slashing at Zabuza's head. Zabuza narrowly dodged the strike before retaliating with his sword. The clone blocked the strike which brought them into a stalemate because Zabuza was using one hand. The clone still in the air just smirked and mouthed boom before it and the sword exploded. Zabuza and the now freed Kakashi used a replacement to save themselves.

Now that Kakashi was free he stood on water and engaged Zabuza this time he had the user hand. Because of the sharingan he matched Zabuza justu for justu move for move which confused Zabuza. He thought Kakashi could see the future which was not true. You see Kakashi copied a thousand justu (more than that) from when he received it. It just so happened that the justu Zabuza used Kakashi already copied so what he simply did was make his hand seals faster than Zabuza's making it look like he could see into the future. All he was doing was see the sequence of hand seals and he would know the exact technique Zabuza was going to use by retrieving the information from his arsenal of copied justu.

Kakashi unleashed a huge water wave at Zabuza which carried him through several trees before stopping. Zabuza struggled to get up only to see Kakashi towering over his ready to strike. Before Kakashi could deliver the final blow a few senbon needles his Zabuza in the neck killing(?) him. Kakashi jumped back as a young hunter nin appeared near Zabuza's body to which Kakashi tensed ready for another fight if it broke out.

"Thank you for your assistance. I have been on his trails for a while now and now that he is dead my mission is complete" spoke the hunter nin with an almost feminine voice. Kakashi's genin joined them as Kakashi checked for a pulse to make sure that Zabuza was dead and when he found no pulse he stood back up and backed away. Naruto on the other hand wasn't fooled as he could still feel Zabuza's chakra signature still present. He was about to rat them out only to remember his brother's words about keeping Zabuza and Haku alive. He assumed that the hunter nin was Haku so he kept quiet. The hunter nin took the body and left.

After Zabuza and his accomplice were out of range Naruto deactivated his Sensory zone then looked to his sensei who was running low on chakra. The guy looked like he was gonna fall anytime soon with how much he was swaying from side to side. "Looks like the danger is has passed for now. So Tazuna how far is it to your home?" Kakashi asked. "Just a few miles" "Good. Ah could any of you catch m.." Kakashi never finished his statement before he fell over as he passed out. Sasuke quickly caught the guy before his face became acquainted with the ground.

"Is sensei okay?" asked a now worried Sakura. "Yah it's just chakra exhaustion nothing major" Naruto replied as he created 4 clones one to help Sasuke carry Kakashi to which Sasuke protested but was ignored. The other three clones took an arrow formation as they went to the Land of Waves. As they moved the genin were reviewing the fight with Zabuza. Sasuke was thinking about how Naruto reacted. Again when the situation called for it the dope displayed that he was very capable and was a clever strategist. The way he used his clones was very ingenious but to use a transformed clone as a weapon against a real sword was unheard of. The transformation should have dispelled upon contact but the sword actually cracked like it was the real thing. Furthermore what's with the exploding clones as far as he knew the clones the dope made didn't explode unless the dope was hiding that part out. Well he will get the answers out of the dope and maybe learn the techniques that he used to make himself stronger in order to kill his brother.

Sakura thought that she didn't do anything and that Naruto did more than any other genin of their generation could have performed if faced with the same situation. He stood tall against a guy who massacred his entire genin class and even managed to force him to retreat. Moreover he didn't even make a move to hit on her trying to impress her. He was more focused on the situation than her.

Naruto on the other hand was thinking about his performance. He did well mainly because Zabuza underestimated him. But next time Zabuza won't make the same mistake and take them seriously. Naruto also though about the techniques he used, they didn't notice his sensory zone technique which was good for his. This technique is very important to him and he was looking to combine it with the Replacement zone technique to create a very deadly combo. The transforming clones well they all knew the transformation technique. If they asked why his transformed sword didn't dispel well he will have to bullshit his way out of it. The exploding clone he bet that Kakashi knew of it so it was easy to say that he got it from the Forbidden scroll.

As they got into the village they actually saw the state the village was in and it was pitiful to say the list. The villagers looked miserable with dirty cloths and most of them looked malnourished there were a number of other things they saw that they didn't want to think about. Overly things were very bad for the village, it needed help and fast. "Gato did this?" Naruto whispered barely containing his anger as he saw couple of street kids stealing food and running away.

"Yes the village used to be prosperous until that monster took over. These days we are barely even staying alive that's why we need the bridge. It's our only hope' Tazuna replied with a solemn look. The other genin looked sad until Naruto spoke. "Don't worry about that. One way or the other by the time we leave this place Gato will be gone I can promise you that." Everyone near Naruto shivered. The way he said it would make even the devil think twice about messing with the guy. Naruto's resolve was made. Gato was gonna leave the land of the living, his time was up.

They got to Tazuna' house and were greeted by a young beautiful woman who turned out to be Tazuna's daughter. She expressed how worried she was about her father and thanked the ninja for protecting him even though she had doubts seeing as they were just children. She then led them to some rooms in which they laid on a futon Kakashi so he could the genin came to the leaving room to wait for their sensei to wake up Naruto was thinking about what to do about Zabuza and Haku. Were their stories the same as the ones from D Naruto's dimension? If so then when they meet, he had a feeling they would be meeting, he will do everything in his power to protect them. For now though the perimeter had to be secured so he made a few clone to guard the perimeter while they rested.

Somewhere out there

In an old abandoned building we find two individuals seating. They were shirtless for one and they were just wearing brown pants. They were almost pale skinned with black hair. The most prominent feature they had was triple bladed scythes which they were sharpening. The first one who had red eyes was named Kaiba and his brother with black eyes was named Kappa. They were known as the Immortal Psycho brothers because well they were psychotic. They loved to kill people for their deity claiming it was all for Jashin.

"Kaiba I heard that there are people in the Land of Waves that need to be liberated. Apparently their lives are too miserable to leave so it's up to us to set them free all in the name of Jashin" Kappa said with a demented look. "Jashin will be pleased lest prepare to leave to bring glory to our Lord" the pair stood up and started heading towards the direction of the Land of Waves all the while sending murderous vibes everywhere they went.

D Naruto Residence

D Naruto was just finished looking through future events and he frowned. "I think there will be some anomalies in this mission. Let's hope the kids come back in one piece." He sighed as he looked at the now setting sun. "You still can't see what will happen huh. If that's the case don't worry too much about it he will be fine" Kaguya said as she sat beside him. "Yah I know and until we are allowed to interfere all we can do is watch as events unfold. Stupid deities."

So D Naruto can see into the future but because he is in another dimension the deities of said dimension limit this ability and his interference so that the Naruto of said dimension learn from said event that will happen. If he was in his dimension he would see as far as he wants into the future without problems. But he will be allowed to interfere if things get hairy. See you guys later.
