Thanks for the reviews. Some have pointed out that Naruto's character changed too fast after training with D Naruto. Yah that would be correct. Keep in mind when D Naruto found him he was on the verge of a mental break down after being abused again. This Naruto isn't like canon Naruto with infinite tolerance so being on the verge of a mental break down and being provided a chance for a new life, let's just say it was a life changing experience. He would have been someone who would have turned out like Gaara or worse had not D Naruto intervened.

As for the character development being wack yah I know I suck at this but please bear with me. I know I didn't develop my characters adequately that's because I am new to this writing thing.

Rant Section

The Naruto story had a lot of potential. We have a main character with a lot of power behind him who could do a lot of damage but he is a blank slate and needs guidance. So what does the writer do, he sticks Naruto with senseis that suck. I mean from my point of view Kakashi and Jiraiya suck at being teachers. We will not talk about Iruka that guy sucked period. He knew Naruto's weaknesses and he didn't fix them or even point out where he was going wrong. He knew of Naruto's circumstances and let his prejudice get the best of him. He should have been the one to fix Naruto's chakra control problem first or make a recommendation to the team sensei but it seems Naruto's file was lacking in the important staff.

Let's go to Kakashi. He was Naruto team sensei and for the rest of the Naruto series before Shippuden he didn't teach Naruto a single jutsu. He is known to have copied 1000 jutsu so he is bound to have something that suit Naruto's style since the boy had loads of chakra but no he didn't. He didn't fix Naruto's chakra control problem, his horrible taijutsu or improve his speed. He chose to focus on Sasuke neglecting his two other students which suck. During Naruto Shippuden he only introduced Naruto to chakra nature training after their fiasco with Sasuke. Even then they focused on making sure the 9 tails doesn't break out. Naruto had to look for pointers from Asuma while Sasuke got Kakashi's undivided attention. As a shinobi Kakashi is good but as a teacher he is horrible.

We now go to Jiraiya. Like Kakashi as a shinobi he is great but as a teacher he is horrible. He spends most of his time perving on women instead of training Naruto. Pre time skip he taught Naruto summoning to use against a Hyuuga in the chunnin exams which was stupid to me. What was he gonna do, summon Gamabunta to sit on Neji. Next he pushed Naruto off a cliff him to force him to use the 9 tails' chakra to summon. That in itself proved Jiraiya was not supposed to teach at all, I mean what if the 9 tails refused to supply chakra. Then there is also that stupid training trip. Naruto didn't learn anything new well except dispelling genjutsu of which he frequently got caught in them. His speed didn't improve, no new skill set nothing and Tsunade and Kakashi had the gale to say that Naruto improved.

The only teachers I approve were Bee and the toad elders. Those did a great job otherwise Naruto would have sucked. These aren't all the facts and they seem to be one sided I know. The guys mentioned above have their strengths as well but I didn't mention them. This is what I think about Naruto's teachers so please don't flame me for this.

Chapter 17

Previously

There in the tree standing upside down was a red head that had a passive look. Sasuke was shocked. The boy was standing right behind him and he didn't even sense him. He could have been killed. The other two were now sweating as they saw the red head. They showed fear in their eyes like they saw the boogieman.

Said red head ignored everyone as he stare intently at Naruto. Naruto rose up to the challenge ate stared right back with equal intensity. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife and serve yourself (always wondered what it tastes like). The red head released his Ki making those around shiver in fear. Naruto retaliated also by releasing his own countering the redhead's KI. The Sand genin were shocked. This kid was challenging Gaara? Well shit was about to hit the fan.

Now

Fear was what people felt when those two KIs met. Most of the civilians who were still able to move fled and those who were unable to it was because they had passed out. The air was tense as the two genin looked at each other. It was like two beasts sizing each other up. Their KIs took the avatars of the 9 tails for Naruto and the 1 tail for the redhead. The present genin were currently shivering at the battle KIs that was occurring. The children were lucky Naruto shielded them otherwise that would scar them for life. He didn't shield his teammates because he wanted them to have more experience facing people who could project their KI. Zabuza was an experience but he wanted them to see that even the younger generation could do that.

From the roof tops you could see ANBU and Jounin assembling getting ready for whatever was going to happen. The huge Ki being released had got their attention and they were surprised that the Ki was coming from two genin. For now they were to observe but if things get hairy they would step in.

As sudden as the Ki came it disappeared. The redhead looked emotionlessly at Naruto while Naruto looked passively at him.

"You are strong" the redhead said in an emotionless tone.

"I can say the same about you. That was scary man" Naruto commented his attitude turning a 180 from being serious to a somewhat cheery attitude.

The others present were surprised. These guys looked like they were about to duke it out and now they are having a conversation. What a weird pair. Those who knew the redhead knew that when he gets like this the opponent never survives even if he had to destroy everything in his path. But here he was having a conversation with his prey. What was going on?

"Mother says you are like me. Is it true?" the redhead asked.

"Yah I am. Let me introduce myself. My name is Naruto holding number 9. Nice to meet you." Naurto said in a cheerful and excited manner. He had never met another jinchuuriki before so he was excited to meet someone he could relate to.

"I am Gaara of the Desert holding number 1" again Gaara said in a monotone voice which kind off unnerved Naruto. It seems that Jinchuuriki didn't have it easy in their villages.

After a moment of silence Naruto sighed. "You too huh. It seems they hate you too."

Gaara's eyes widened a bit. Him too. He is different from him, he seems cheerful and yet from the way he said his statement he was also mistreated.

"Yes they tried to kill me a lot of times but I killed them and my sand always comes to my defence."

"Lucky you I don't have a defence so they did what they wanted plus I was naïve back then. Mine is locked up tight he can't do anything nor did he want to do anything at the time. So let me guess your father did that to you?" Naruto got a nod. It seems he and Gaara have a lot in common than he thought and judging by the third chakra signature he was detecting on Gaara it seems he was the same as him. Naruto had detected two more signatures in his seal and his brother told him they were security features for the seal but he was suspicious.

Gaara was the same although the signature seemed to be bound to the sand. Gaara's seal seemed to be less secure than his judging by the 1 tail's chakra running amok in Gaara. The 9 tails also told him that the 1 tails was likely torturing him to go insane and he seem to be succeeding. He decided to confirm.

"Does your 'mother' give you any trouble?"

"Yes she keeps me up at night telling me to kill. If I go to sleep she will take over and kill people." Gaara answered. Honestly he didn't care if he is giving information to the enemy. They were alike they could understand each other. If Naruto uses the information against him then he will bury this village in sand.

"Oh sorry about that" well that explains the rings around his eyes. Insomnia, well seems Gaara drew the short end of the stick. His seal was weak and worse he got stuck with a homicidal maniac of a Bijuu. He felt sorry for the dude but was impressed that the guy wasn't completely insane.

"Well if you like my brother can take a look at your seal and my sisters can straighten your 'mother'. If you think your 'mother' is strong then think again. They made 9 say uncle" an image of a crying 9 tails held in a submission manoeuvre by Kurama while he was tapping and crying uncle came to mind. The 9 tails shivered at the thought and he felt sorry for Shikaku if he pissed her off…. Mmmmh maybe he could trick the maniac so he could suffer the same fate as him Mwahahaha que lightning.

Gaara nodded before turning to leave with his siblings. He stopped before telling Naruto that he hoped to see him in the exams so that he could prove his existance. With that they left with a few ANBU discreetly following them to make sure they don't cause any trouble.

This left only team 7 as the kids were taken by an ANBU and brought back to school.

"Okay guys by some cosmic fuck up we are placed in the chunin exams, let's avoid those guys as much as possible." Naruto said before they headed to the training ground although someone (cough Sasuke cough) didn't heed the warning.

Team 7's Training ground

"Congratulation you have been nominated to participate in the chunin exams" Kakashi said while giving them his trademark eye smile.

They had arrived at the training ground expecting some training or some lame mission. Kakashi was late as usual. Seriously what the hell was the guy thinking when he took a genin team if he is always three hours late. Said guy came then delivered this shocking news.

Naruto decided to make sure he wasn't hearing things. "Did I hear you correctly when you said we have been nominated to participate in the chunin exams?" he received a nod before he continued.

"An exam that almost every village in the shinobi world participate in?" he got another nod.

"And you nominated us, a team that hasn't even completed a full year of its formation, a team that has one A rank and a gazillion D ranks and a team that is well known as the most dysfunctional team there ever is?" he again got a nod.

"An exam with the probability of dying a very painful and gruesome death" again he received a nod as Kakashi kept reading his literature and Sakura and Sasuke looked at Kakashi like he was stupid or something.

"Are you stupid or something?" he received a nod. Okay the guy was not even listening to him. He is treating this like it's not a serious issue. He heard that genin die in these exams. He can survive and Sasuke would probably survive provided his ego doesn't get the best of him and he pisses off the wrong crowd. Sakura on the other hand would not survive. And their sensei was not listening to him.

Oh this could be good.

"I Kakashi Hatake love to wear my underwear on my head when I am alone" he got a nod from Kakashi and a few snickers from his team mates.

"I Kakashi Hatake love to masturbate three times a day. This is my daily prayer routine." He got another nod and this time his team mates break into a fit of laughter. Kakashi just looked at them before he revised what was said and he blanched. The kid played him again.

"No I don't do those things!" he shouted as he tried to save face. The look on his students showed that they did not believe him not one bit.

"Now that you are back to the land of the living let's get back to business. Are you sure you want us to participate when we are clearly not ready." Naruto asked again as he tried to see what was the point of sending to their probable deaths.

"Yes I believe you can pass if you work together. Sasuke has his sharingan activated so he wouldn't lose and with you two backing him up you will pass" Kakashi explained his logic.

So that was the reason for forcing them into the exams. It was so the Uchiha could pass and progress at the expense of others. This was some twisted logic. Sakura could get killed for goodness' sake. Before he made a rash decision another part of his pointed to the benefits of this opportunity. If he passed (he doubted they would allow him) he would become a chunin meaning minimal contact with these three meaning FREEDOM. Okay he will do it.

"Okay let's do it" the others looked at him like he was crazy. He was opposed to the idea not a minute ago so what changed. What was he planning? They were suspicious. He was serious about not wanting to participate and next he was quiet thinking before the proverbial light bulb was seen above his head. Now that made them suspicious. He was planning something.

Naruto approached Kakashi then patted him on the back before taking his form and took off. The others just looked at him in surprise before the other two took their forms and went their separate ways. Kakashi lingered a bit longer as he felt something was very wrong here but he ignored the feeling as took one last look at the direction Naruto went before he disappeared in a swell of leaves.

Streets of Konoha

Kakashi was reading his favourite literature (porn let's not bit around the bush here) as he headed him. He was so engrossed in his book that he didn't see women taking their children away as he passed by them. People looked at him in disgust. So what made these nice people look at our resident porn addict in disgust? Well the answer was written on the back of his jacket.

There written on the back of his jacket in huge bold letters were the words "I AM INTO LITTLE BOYS AND GIRLS". And to make it worse his book's title has glowing words "Icha Icha Lolis". He didn't see what was happening. Naruto made sure to be discreet when he patted Kakashi in the back he skipped a seal to show the letters when it was activated. As for the book, well he found Kakashi's house and put several seals on them. He was just lucky the book coincided with his plans hehehe.

The target has gained enough heat now for the finishing touches. A young boy with brown hair about 8 years of age bumped into Kakashi. Kakashi looked at the kid that bumped into him and fell down. He decided to help the kid so he gave the kid an eye smile and knelt down.

Before he could even address the kid a woman quickly snatched him and looked angrily at Kakashi.

"You will not take advantage of him you pervert paedophile" she shouted which attracted a crowd that gathered around them while casting angry gazes at Kakashi.

'What the hell is going on? I usually pass through here and I dint face any challenges part from some girls trying to see under my mask. Kakashi thought as he tried to think of the cause of this hostility. He looked at the boy to see if he had accidentally hurt him. He saw the boy discreetly smirk which made him widen his eyes.

Transformation! That boy is a transformation and didn't even notice until the boy made it known. Only one person was good at transformations like this one. Naruto, oh shit.

Said boy just uttered the final nail to the coffin. "Mr lets go home like you said"

Oh shit that was not good. The crowd attacked Kakashi in blind rage not noticing said boy disappeared in a poof of smoke. Kakashi shushined to the roof top sweating like crazy. There he met Anko and Kurenai who were investigating what was happening. Kurenai wore a blank expression and Anko looked amused.

"Damn Kakashi I didn't know you were into those and you aren't afraid of showing it" said Anko which Kurenai just looked at Kakashi like he was worse than scum.

Anko just pointed to the back of his jacket and his book. When Kakashi looked his eyes widened. This literally destroyed his reputation. How was he going to explain this to everyone? They won't believe him. And how the hell did Naruto do it? He then recalled the weird pat on the back but that doesn't explain the book. Did he find his house, if so what else did he do?

He did the only thing that came to mind "NAARUUTOO!"

Said boy was laughing as he headed home after collecting Hinata from her team. His clone had just dispelled sending him its memories. The look on Kakashi's face was priceless and he wasn't done with him. On another note he was wondering if Konoha's senseis were high or something. What substance are they taking and are they taking it in a group? He thought it was Kakashi who was an idiot he didn't expect the rest of the rookie senseis to be this idiotic.

What possessed them to think it was a good idea to put fresh genin in the chunin exams. Honestly their reasoning was beyond him. Anyway he was strong enough to survive and so was Hinata because of the training she received. He wasn't worried about her; he was more worried about the opponents that would face her. She had undergone a major character change because of what happened to her and Kaguya. She was still gentle but when you piss her off well let's just say you will be lucky to get out in one piece.

Well they got home and met the others before relaying what had happened. The others didn't look surprised, of course they knew what would happen. So he tried to get as much infor out of them as he could. All he got was beware of the snake in the forest and the white haired traitor and that's it. He wanted to know the structure of the exam, the questions that would be given and some tricks to use. They were tight lipped on that. No use spoon feeding him everything.

Next Day

We find Hinata and Naruto heading to the exam hall which was the academy. Haku had given Naruto a good luck kiss before Naruto had to run for his life with Zabuza on his tail executioner's blade in hand. A guy can't get a break with an overprotective father around. They separated as Hinata went to meet her team and Naruto went to meet his.

He saw Sakura and Sasuke waiting for him. They all nodded to each other before they entered the academy. It seems these guys were ready for the exams even though Sakura was nervous. The exam was going to be held on the third floor so they passed the first floor and came to the second floor were they met a peculiar situation.

There were two boys (who Naruto identified immediately as Kotetsu and Izumo the gate guards) who were prohibiting other teams from entering. The team they were confronting seemed to be playing the fool judging by the calm chakra signatures. What were two chunin in henge doing in a place like this? It seems they were here to weed out the competition if people didn't realise they were on the second floor.

Before he could warn the others not to tell anyone Sasuke opened his mouth and blabbed the whole thing with Sakura agreeing.

'Okay I give up this team is doomed to fail spectacularly!' Naruto ranted in his head. He just kept quiet and headed to the exam room where he met Kakashi waiting for them. Kakashi seeing Naruto thought to the problems he faced yesterday.

"You know it's not nice what you did especially to my beautiful baby is considered rude. You know my reputation has plummeted now because of you" Kakashi said as he hugged his porn. Naruto just sweat dropped at this. The idiot still hasn't learnt his lesson okay time to kick things up a notch.

"By the way where are the others?" he asked as he expected all his students to be here. He saw all three of them enter after all.

Naruto took a contemplating look as he felt for their chakra signatures. What he found was quite amusing to say the least. It seems that Sasuke has picked a fight before the exams even began thus solidifying his belief that they are very doomed. He waited a few seconds before he addressed Kakashi.

"From what I can tell Sasuke is busy getting his ass kicked and Sakura is cheering him on. Ouch that's gottat hurt" he was following the fight and he could feel the pain judging by how Sasuke's chakra was reacting. They guy Sasuke was fighting was fast that's for sure and it seems that he was holding back even more. It seems this exam has some interesting people after all.

Kakashi looked confused until he saw Sakura supporting Sasuke who had an annoyed look on his face. The most noticeable feature on his face was the bruise on his face; yep he got his ass kicked pretty hard. He had to thank the guy who redecorated Sasuke's face he was quite artistic. Kakashi then explained that if two of them had showed up they would have failed since the first part was to see if the teams were complete or not.

Okay this guy needs so serious humiliation if he omitted an important detail like that. So team 7 entered the doors of the exam room but before they closed the door Naruto turned and gave Kakashi a mischievous smirk that sent shivered down Kakashi's spine. Okay it seems Kakashi had to watch his back. He quickly disappeared in a poof of smoke showing that he was a clone.

In the teacher's lounge

Kakashi was glad that he send a clone so the boy didn't put anything weird on him like that seal. He entered the teacher's lounge and started greeting others shaking their hands to show respect. After that he headed to the Konoha group where he proceeded to do the same. Before he could sit down he was assaulted by a huge dose of Ki from everyone he greeted. He turned around as he prepared to fight. The occupants of the room looked disgusted at him. Okay he could feel a bad case of dejavu occurring. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Asuma with a blank expression.

"Okay man that's just disgusting you know" he said in a cold tone that reminded him Asuma during the war.

"What are you talking about" Kakashi asked confused.

"The back of your jacket" was the reply he got. Kakashi broke into a cold sweat as he realised that Naruto tagged all his jackets. Oh shit and he wore it all day. What the heck was written on it that elicited this type of reaction? Slowly he turned around as he looked at the back of his jacket. There written in big bold glowing eye-catching letters were the words

'I MASTURBATED USING MY RIGHT HAND THIS MORNING AND I DIDN'T WASH IT!'

Damn that kid he is ruined. Not only does the village think he is a weirdo but even other villages will start thinking that too as foreign senseis were around. He fell on his knees and looked up as he shouted

"NAAARUUUTOOOO"

And done.
