Thanks for the reviews. It seems most of you enjoy the comedy so I will try to put more comedy in the story as we go along. This chapter won't have any action but the next surely will.

Rant section

Okay there is a reason why there are time skips in anime when the characters are out training right. Look at One Piece or Black clover and other anime. After the time skips the main characters had grown in strength and viewers really enjoyed seeing the main character show off their new moves.

But the time skip between Naruto and Naruto Shippuden wasn't what most people expected. To me it was total bullshit. Look at Sasuke he improved a lot from his training with Orochimaru. Sakura had the biggest improvement of all. She was like a totally new person from that weak girl. Those two really improved a lot.

Now let's go to the main character shall we. I was very disappointed about Naruto's skill set after the three year time skip. I expected him to be busting out some new moves, elemental manipulation and new jutsu but sadly there was none. He learnt how to make the rasengan bigger which was okay. Learnt to break out of genjutsu which he was frequently caught in so that was useless. Learnt to control the 9 tails' chakra which was a big flop since he went nuts after the third tail. Chakra control he still had problems with his control evidenced by him needing a clone to stabilise the rasengan. So what was the point of wasting three years and come up with nothing? It was easier to just give him a bunch of scrolls and see what techniques he could master on his own.

Bee took less time to train Naruto and so did the toads. For me that was one of the biggest flops in the Naruto series.

Chapter 18

Previously

Kakashi then explained that if two of them had showed up they would have failed since the first part was to see if the teams were complete or not.

Okay this guy needs so serious humiliation if he omitted an important detail like that. So team 7 entered the doors of the exam room but before they closed the door Naruto turned and gave Kakashi a mischievous smirk that sent shivered down Kakashi's spine. Okay it seems Kakashi had to watch his back. He quickly disappeared in a poof of smoke showing that he was a clone.

There written in big bold glowing eye-catching letters were the words

'I MASTURBATED USING MY RIGHT HAND THIS MORNING AND I DIDN'T WASH IT!'

Damn that kid he is ruined. Not only does the village think he is a weirdo but even other villages will start thinking that too as foreign senseis were around. He fell on his knees and looked up as he shouted

"NAAARUUUTOOOO"

Now

Team 7 entered the exam to see it full of chunin hopefuls. Yah way to go Sasuke now they have more competition. There were different villages being represented so this means there will be different skills being displayed. It seems that this event was more popular than he thought.

He scanned the room to see if there are any people to be considered threats. Judging by the signatures he was feeling most were genin not a threat to him. There were some who stood out from most. The sand siblings stood out. The blond and make up boy were chunin easy while Gaara was in a category he dubbed Trouble. There was also that silver haired genin and his team. The other two's chakra signatures seem to be augmented or something like some of their chakra was not theirs. The silver haired genin's chakra was easily jounin and seemed to be very much under control. He had only seen this in seasoned jounin. The team was giving him bad vibes like they were up to no good.

There was also the team from a village he didn't know. The three two boys and a girl were chunin level themselves but they seem also be here for a hidden agenda judging by their signatures and the way they looked at his team. So this means that this year's exams were going to be interesting. If they leave him and his loved ones alone then he had no problems with that. But what are the odds of that happening.

So team 7 decided to find some of the Konoha teams but before they could even start looking a blond and purple missile shot past them heading for Sasuke and tackled him to the ground. Naruto looked to see who it was. Oh it's just Ino, Sasuke's fan girl. Well good luck with your troubles. With that he left the poor dude at the mercy of his two fangirls.

Naruto located Hinata and headed for her while the other teams from Konoha converged at Sasuke's location. Hinata and Naruto decided to become invisible to the world so they found a quiet corner to seat and chat as they watched Sasuke's girl problems.

Naruto the felt eyes on him and he looked to see Gaara looking at him. He grinned and waved at him to which the red head just nodded. Hinata raised a brow at this.

"Friend of yours?" she asked.

"Kinda. He is a jinchuuriki like me only he drew the short end of the stick and got stuck with a psycho Bijuu. So he is a bit unstable in the head… Okay he is a lot unstable" Naruto replied as he kept scouting for more competition and keeping an eye on the other members of the rookie genin who were making themselves the centre of attention with the noise they wre making..

"How much of a threat is he" Hinata asked as she discreetly looked at Gaara with her Byakugan. What she found was disturbing to say the least. The guy had a lot of chakra for a genin but not as much as Naruto's. The chakra seems to be chaotic and was a mixture of three chakras. From what she could tell he was going to be pain to fight.

"If you meet him its best to retreat when you are with your team. You could subdue him but that's only if you somehow cut of his connection to his Bijuu which is difficult." Naruto replied before he sighed as he saw the others coming to the corner they were in. Great now he had to deal with these fools when he wanted to make himself invisible so as not to put a target on his back. What did he do to deserve this? It was all that Kiba's fault for putting him in the spot light by asking about him.

"So this is where you have been hiding dope. Why did you leave us and what are you doing with her?" Sasuke asked as he pointed to Hinata before he did a double take. Wait was this Hinata. The same one how wore that huge jacket and very shy. What the heck happened to her?

The others apart from her team were surprised as well. Where did she get the miko outfit and WHEN DID SHE GET SO BOLD TO WEAR SUCH CLOTHING? Hinata looked hot in her outfit that she had problems with Kiba asking her out constantly. The other girls were jealous of how good Hinata looked and suddenly they were feeling self-conscious of themselves especially on the chest area. Hinata was well developed for a girl her age she had a c cup which had room to grow hehehe.

Ino and Sakura couldn't believe what they were seeing. Hinata had outdone them and she wasn't even trying. She didn't put on any make up like they did and she outshined them by a margin. By the looks their Sasuke-kun was giving her they had more competition than they would like.

"Ah hello everyone why are you looking at me like that?" she asked shyly. Okay she might be badass now but she still wasn't used to being put on the spotlight like that.

"Wow Hinata you look wow. What happened to you girl. You went missing and you came back looking like this?" Ino asked trying to hide the jealousy in her voice but failed spectacularly. Hinata just ignored her jealousy.

"Well a lot has happened which I would not like to talk about. But if you are worried about me posing as completion to you well put your worries at rest. I am well-spoken for" she said with a smile as she looked at Naruto who tried to put on a blank face as he folded his arms. However he couldn't control the blush that creeped on his face.

"WHAAAT!" was heard throughout the exam room halting all activity.

"Y you mean you are an item now" Ino stuttered. She couldn't believe it. The shy Hinata now had a boyfriend. The class dope no less. They knew she had a crush on him but they thought it would pass away. But it seems she was serious.

There were various emotions running through the group. One was surprise from most of them. The other was anger from a certain dog… sorry dogman I mean dog fetish oh forget it its Kiba. Kiba wanted Hinata but she kept rejecting him. After her return she plainly ignored his advances. This would have put him off but the fact that she has become a hotty made it worth it. But now the dope took her away from him. Oh he was gonna pay.

The last emotion was jealousy. From who? From princess bubble-gum of course and emo king. She was always insecure about her looks so the fact that Naruto pinned for her gave her confidence that she was desirable. She thought that he would keep chasing her forever but recently he didn't pay much attention to her. He made her fell special but that was all over now. He was happy with Hinata and he seems to make her happy. If the situation was reversed and she accepted would she be happy like that? No use dwelling on that during the exams she needed all her focus. Naruto was her team mate after all so she had plenty of time to put the moves on him.

As for emo king. Various thoughts were running through his mind. Damn that dope. It seems he is now ahead of him. First he has power that trumps him. Then he took that Haku chick and now he is with Hinata who is beautiful enough to attract him. He wanted someone worthy to revive his clan with but on a later date after he fulfilled his ambition. He wanted that Haku chick but she was attracted to the dope. Then Hinata but she was already taken by the dope. What the hell kind of charm was he using to get these girls (eeeh it's called a good personality dude).

So the girls started talking with Ino grilling Hinata for details while the boys talked. They were interrupted by the silver haired boy who came to them and told them that they were drawing attention to them. They looked at the class who gave them a douse of KI which was not that much. If Gaara wanted to silence them all he would have with his Ki but the fact that he didn't showed that their KI (combined!) was pitiful.

The genin went on to show some infor cards and told his story about how he failed 7 times in the genin exams. He went on to ask if anyone had any infor they wanted to know. Sasuke asked about Rock Lee and Gaara. The genin who was named Kabuto gave them details of the genin asked for. He went on to insult this newly formed village, the sound village. The genin from the village attacked Kabuto who got hurt from some weird jutsu. A fight was about to break out.

Through the whole ordeal Naruto and Hinata observed Kabuto closely after Naruto warned Hinata. So they discussed what they observed so far.

"So what do you think" Naruto asked.

"It seems your suspicions have merit. He is not what he seems. When he came to us and spoke to us it was like he was speaking to a specific individual and not all of us. Plus his chakra is like that of a seasoned Jounin. No genin can have that much control from ordinary training alone. And on top of that we don't know anything about him or his team mates." Hinata surmised. This Kabuto fellow really bothered her a lot.

"Sasuke. He was speaking to Sasuke. It seems that Sasuke is the target but why? The sharingan maybe. Also I think he is working with the sound genin. And he wricks a lot of chemicals and snakes. Have you noticed something weird about the attack?"

"Yes Kabuto seemed to be prepared for the attack like he knew it was coming. Also remember the warning your brother gave us about the white haired traitor I think he was referring to him." Hinata finished. It seems they found a spy in their midst and he seems to have taken a shine to Sasuke. Whatever it was this spy wanted it was not good. They have to find a way to warn the village.

Before the fight could break out a huge man came and restored order to the class. The man was huge and wearing a bandana over his head. He had a scar over his face. He seemed to be the one who is in charge. He was trying to be scary but he had seen worse after all he lived with Hannya fetish women. It made him immune to all forms of intimidation. The guy introduced himself as Ibiki but Naruto decided to call him Scar face. Mmmh too long maybe Scar would do.

Lion King dimension

A certain evil looking scar faced lion suddenly had the urge to celebrate that his name was bestowed to another fellow scar face. But he just went back to listening to a horrible rendition of 'I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts'.

They were ordered to take their seats and prepare for the exams, which was a written. Once upon a time Naruto would have freaked out but his brother took the time to teach him what he wasn't taught and then some. The way he taught was way better that what Iruka did. Naruto understood and didn't get bored. So he was prepared for what was to come.

Naruto studied the room only to notice that there were extra people who were seating for the exams that were not there before. They seem to be chunin from the looks of it so what are they doing here? There was a catch to this exam. Since he was seating next to Hinata he discreetly relayed this to her to which she confirmed with her Byakugan. So there was a hidden meaning to the exam and since it was from Konoha the exams were like the exams they took when they became genin. Typical Konoha exam methods.

So the exam papers were passed after some weird and suspicious rules were given. One look at the exams and he knew that these were questions not meant for ordinary genin. He knew that he could get most of the answers but he was worried about Sasuke. The bookworm could do it but Sasuke certainly didn't stand a chance unless of course he cheated. So maybe that's the point of the exam judging by the rules he heard. Well they will pass if it's cheating that's for sure.

He watched as the other genin started writing the exam. Most were struggling with the questions but it seems some have figured out the trick. He could see Sasuke using his sharingan to copy the answers, the Yamanaka mind fucked some poor soul then relay the answers to the Nara who was controlling the Akimichi to write the answers. Man talk about team work.

Some of the candidates were also cheating in their own way and then there was Sakura. The girl seemed to be writing from her head which was impressive. Then there was also Hinata who ….

What the hell she is asleep. There on her desk beside Naruto was Hinata who was fast asleep like there was no problem at all. And she was snoring with drool coming out of her mouth. If it wasn't for the murderous intent Scar was sending her she would be looking cute. He was supposed to be the one doing this sort of thing not her, that's his job damn it.

Scar I mean Ibiki was a man who prided himself in the work he did. When it comes to mind games he was your man. He enjoyed seeing people squirm and panic when he is doing his work. So when he was invited to be the proctor for the first stage of the exams he was ecstatic. He hoped that he would see some kids pee themselves hehehe.

When the exam started he enjoyed seeing the shocked looks on the kids' faced when they saw how difficult the questions were. He was also hopping to see what some of the smart kid would do when cheating. So far he was impressed with how discreet some of them were. But what he did expect was for some idiot to be sleeping 2 minutes into the exam. To make it worse she wasn't woken up by the KI he was sending towards her. Either she was sleeping like a rock or she was plainly ignoring his KI.

The other idiot who was pissing him off was the other one seating beside idiot number one. He started of answering the question then all of a sudden he stopped. He started ripping his answer sheets into smaller pieces then summoned 4 clones who all seat around the desk and started writing something on the pieces of paper.

Okay time to pay some idiots a visit. He made his way to idiot number 2, the one with clones. He looked at the boy(s) before he emitted his KI on him (them counting the clones). The answer he got was not what he expected. He was totally ignored. The boy and his clones kept doing what it was they were doing like he wasn't even there. Okay time for the verbal approach.

"Hey maggot what the hell do you think you are doing?" shouted Ibiki drawing the attention of almost all the students. Naruto just pecked his head up as he looked at Ibiki with an annoyed expression before giving a simple answer.

"Can't you see I am making art here" he went back to doing what he was doing. Ibiki's eyebrow twitched. In his career as the feared T&I department's head he had never seen anyone with the audacity to dismiss him like how this kid did. Well he wasn't going to let it slide.

"You do know that it's illegal to for you to have clones in the exam room right. You have just gotten your team disqualified" Ibiki smirked. This would guarantee that he receive the reaction he was looking for. Oh he waited for the face of a shocked and crashed genin. But again it never came.

"No there isn't a rule like that. Plus I am not cheating we are working here. My clones are here on my desk we are not even writing the exam you fool. And besides if I was cheating that would have been strike one for me." Naruto replied nonchalantly as he worked on his 'art'. The scare tactics this guy was playing are too obvious and he was disturbing him from his work. Besides this guy was going to be the courier for his next prank.

Ibiki was reaching his breaking point. This was a mere genin and he is dismissing him like he is nothing. The other genin save for Gaara looked at Naruto like he was crazy. Pissing of someone like this was suicidal. Ibiki decided to take a look at what was so important this genin was not to be disturbed. What he found was both funny and confusing.

There were pictures drawn all over the small pieces of paper. The papers were small and of equal length about 15 cm. The drawing looked like a chibified someone in various positions some which were obscene. What those chibis look familiar. Spiky hair and a headband covering one eye plus the mask covering the mouth. Yap this was definitely Kakashi. But why make such pictures.

"And done. Now for the final touches" he heard Naruto declare. Okay what was the kid planning. The pictures themselves would put Kakashi in trouble but they were not effective for a good prank. He saw Naruto and his clones begin to stacking the papers in what he could tell was the sequence they should be in. after that Naruto held one end of the stack and grinned as he looked at Ibiki.

"You are curious at my latest prank right." Ibiki had the decency to nod. He was indeed curious after he heard what the kid did to Kakashi's reputation.

Naruto then started flipping the stack of papers at a fast pace which made the pictures stacked look like a motion picture (Think of it like how the old cartoons were made). The motion picture was of Kakashi taking off his pant and masturbating with his chibi sized worm while saying "I love little kids" and holding a Peace sign while some slides said 'Righty took my virginity' and 'I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts'.

Ibiki just turned around and walked out of the room. When he was sure no one was around he burst into laughter. Oh man Kakashi was so in trouble if this got out. He came back to see Naruto ordering more answer sheets and started making copies. He also found the first one he made on Ibiki's desk and it was autographed at the end and a message which got Ibiki to narrow his eyes and look at a certain silver haired genin. From that day Ibiki learnt one thing. Never mess with Naruto Uzumaki. Well to spend the rest of his time he started using the gift got and you could hear occasional snickers from Ibiki which surprised the chunin in the room.

20 minutes later

There were only 10 minutes left until the exam was over. Some seem to be done waiting for the 10th question while others were wrapping up. There were two individuals there hadn't even started the exam. The prankster and the sleeping princess. Ibiki wondered what they would do. He honestly wanted to see the prankster wricking havoc in the exam. It was at this time that the sleeping princess started to wake up. She yawned and stretched a bit before rubbing her eyes to get rid of sleep left over.

'Okay I think I have slept long enough. Now it's time to take the exam. So which poor fool would be my victim today and how do I get his paper.' Hinata thought as she looked around scoping the poor soul that was to fall prey to her vicious plan. She spotted a chunin who was finished with the exam and she inwardly smirked.

'Okay target acquired. Now what to do to get the paper. I could tell Naruto-kun to create a distraction. No I need to do this myself. Plus it seems Naruto is waiting for me to do something. Mmmmh I could use that oh it's perfect' Hinata thought as she decided to put her plan into action.

Naruto saw Hinata waking up and he immediately knew her plan. She wanted to take some poor guy's paper. The idiots had provided a way for them to pass without writing anything. He took some time to appreciate the view Hinata gave him when she stretched and what a view it was. That enjoyment evaporated when he felt a shiver run down his spine. Okay whatever she was planning wasn't good for everyone including him.

Okay what was she planning? He saw her close her eyes and smile. Oh that smile. That sweet smile that hide the monster behind. That smile that was always a warning for what was to come. Please don't let what he thought come please! If anyone out there is listening please don't let her do this. Unfortunately what he got was along the lines of "The deities you have dialled have all ran for the hills and are unavailable at the moment please try again after the impending disaster has passed"

Oh come on really. Then he spotted the purple aura of doom licking out of her. It sends a chill down everyone's spine including Gaara. Then it came and it brought friends. That horrible monstrosity. The staff of nightmares that he was subjected to at home. The monster that no jutsu works on, he tried everything from ninjutsu to fuinjutsu and nothing worked.

The demonic hannyas.

A chunin was busy putting the final touches to the exam when he felt a chill run down his spine. Every fibre of his being was telling him not to turn, to just run even into a brick wall if he had to. He just froze as he tried not to look focusing on his paper. That was until he caught sight of it. Slowly but surely there was something creeping into the periphery of his vision. As they say curiosity killed the cat well this cat was about to die. He turned to his right and came face to face with something that would hound him for the rest of his life. A very demonified hannya.

He froze as he tried to find his voice which had chosen this opportunity to go on a vacation. All that came out were a bunch of strangled whimpers which got everyone's attention then all hell broke loose.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT"

"THERE ARE MORE OF THEM"

"LET ME OUT LET ME OUT"

"I WANT MY MOMMY"

"MY EYES GET IT OUT GET IT OUT" poor Sasuke had his sharingan activated and you can guess what happened.

Those were some of the screams that erupted in the exam room. There was chaos as everyone tried to get away from those things. Some genin were already passed out while some ran away through the windows, door and walls (don't know how they did that). Some chunin tried to restore order but they were flanked by those things. And where was the fearsome Ibiki? Well the guy was having a staring contest with the lead hannya. Okay not exactly a staring contest as Ibiki was long gone having retreated to the deepest parts of his demented mind were that damn thing was waiting for him. How the hell did it get there?

Gaara looked at those things and for the first time he felt fear. He had never felt like this before. He tried to move his sand to crush those things. The sand made it two feet before it wavered and fell down lifeless after one stern look from those things. He decided to ask his mother for help but got no response. So for the first time in his life Gaara hid behind his sister who was too petrified to notice. In his seal Shukaku was busy running for his life and screaming with an oversized hannya hot of his heels. It was time like this he wished he had his sibling.

All of a sudden they disappeared and the oppressive aura vanished. Everyone who was still conscious was hauled up in a corner while there were only two students left in their seats writing something on their papers. These were Hinata and Naruto. Hinata had a smile on her face and was humming as she wrote her name on the paper the chunin so graciously did for her. Naruto just took advantage of the commotion and swiped a paper from another chunin before he sat and wrote his name too.

Ibiki was the first to recover. He went straight to Hinata and pointed an accusing finger at Hinata.

"You-you did this. What the hell did you do" he asked. He knew she did something since she was the only one not affected. He was no fool. He saw that the moment she woke up this happened and the next thing she was humming while filling out her name on a paper she didn't write.

"I don't know what you are talking about Ibiki-san" Hinata replied with an all too sweet smile.

"Oh yes you do" Ibiki pressed.

"Fufufu you don't know what you are talking about Ibiki-san" Hinata replied as the purple aura of doom began to lick out of her. Ibiki went pale at the thought of those things coming back.

"Yes I don't know what I am talking about" Ibiki replied nervously. This stunned everyone was stunned. This mountain of a man was scared of a little genin. Naruto on the other hand looked at Hinata with narrowed eyes. She was starting to sound suspiciously like someone he knew.

With D-Naruto and company

"What the hell!" shouted Zabuza as he saw what happened in the exam room.

"Well that's a very memorable and traumatising exam if I do say so myself" D-Naruto said. Shiro just shook his head and muttered "Yap she has definitely become a mini me of Kaguya and Miya"

"Yes that's our girl. That's our girl" shouted Kurama with Kaguya and Miya smiling at Hinata.

Ibiki looked at the remains of the students. There were a few left after they took out those that were still unconscious. Well that eliminated the tenth question.

"Okay maggots there will be no tenth question you all pass." He expected to hear students exploding about what happened to the question or shouts of victory but no. All he got was an unmotivated 'yey' from the kids. Those damn things really sucked the life out of the kids huh.

Suddenly something broke thought the window and a woman landed in the room with a banner written "Your sexy and single Anko is here"

Anko expected panic from the students or a rebuke from Ibiki but she received none of that. The room had a dark and gloomy aura in it and it was really depressing.

"Wow Ibiki you really stepped up your game to have this impact on them. What did you do to them" she asked.

"Please don't ask. I don't want to see that thing again" this really confused Anko she had never seen Ibiki like this before. And what the heck he see that made him this afraid.

She told the students to meet at training ground 44 before she jumped out of the window. The student went out of the room like zombies to their next challenge. Hopefully those things won't follow them.

As Hinata was going out Ibiki stopped her and told her something that surprised her.

"You are hired"

And done.

I wanted to do a different Hinata for a change just to liven things up. She would act mostly like Miya but not too much.
