Seeing and hearing this, Luz's heart sank in which then caused her to mutter, "Me and my big mouth." Her charcoal-covered eyes widen in sudden fear as she feels the giant metal monstrosity's hand squeezing her. Luz begins to move from left to right but starts to see the struggle of trying to get out of the grip that this metal creature was dealing with. Luz starts to feel a slow pain emerging, as she hears a cracking sound coming from her charcoal body. She starts feeling the pain from the metal hand squeezing her which caused her to scream in pain, "Ugh, gah, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Out of desperation, Luz uses her magma hands and touches the metal creature's fingers. Once her hands get a hold of the metal fingers, Luz attempts to metal her way out of the grip of the metal hand that was planning on squeezing her to death. The fire she was blasting from her hands was slowly burning the metal fingers. Eventually, the metal creature looks down and sees its grey hand turned into an orange-red color which was slowly spreading throughout its hand. It lets go of Luz, which was an idiotic move.
Luz lands down on the snowy ground with her feet touching the ground first. Luz looks up at the metal thing and extends her hands forward and blasts a flamethrower at the creature's legs hoping that it will melt. The metal creature crashes its hand down onto the ground and sweeps the ground clearing its surrounding. Luz was caught in the sweep, the result was that Luz was flung towards the woods and crashed into some rocks nearby.
Luz was about to get back up when suddenly she hears a strange beeping sound.
BEEP!
Luz looks around her surroundings in search of the beeping sound
BEEP! BEEP!
The beeping sound begins to pick up the pace, which caused Luz to ask herself, "W-What the… Where is that sound coming from?"
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Luz then looks down at her chest where the hourglass badge-logo something on her chest was flashing red and normal pink rapidly. On the final beep…
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
In a bright red engulfed flash, Luz suddenly finds herself back to her normal state while still wearing her winter clothes. Luz looks at herself and says with joy, "I-I'm me again? Yes!" The ground suddenly shakes three-time which caused Luz to do two things. One; look up where the metal creature was looking down at her. And Two; remembering that she was in a fight with the metal thing. Remembering this caused Luz to say in fear, "No!" Luz begins to back up to the rocks behind her causing her back to touch the rocks all the way. The metal monstrosity raises its orange-yellow-red hand in the sky preparing to squash Luz like a bug. Luz then says believing that these were her final moments:
"Bye dad, I'm sorry that you and I never got to hang out like father and daughter. I'm sorry Hunter that I break into you're room and spit in your glass of water as a joke. Steve, Lilith, I wish I had the chance to tell you that- -" The hand then comes crashing down upon Luz causing her to close her eye's fear.
The strangest thing happened, the metal-burned hand never came crashing down onto Luz at all. Luz opens her eyes with hesitation thinking that the moment that she does open her eyes something bad will happen. Instead, Luz opens her eyes to see that the hand was stopped in mid-air and the hand was struggling to get loose from familiar multiple shades of purple goo that Luz recognized instantly.
"Darius?"
Luz says the name of one of the main 9 coven heads; Darius Deamonee head of the Abomination Coven. Darius was in his abomination form which allowed him to move, have greater strength, and be able to morph any part of his body into a weapon. Currently, Darius enlarged his right hand to the size of the metal monstrosity to stop it from crashing onto the Princess. Darius turns to Luz and says, "Princess, hang on!"
Luz becomes confused when suddenly giant leaves come out of the ground and wrap around Luz's body. Before all went dark, Luz hears Lilith's voice saying, "Get the princess to the throne room, hurry!" In an instant everything became black. Less than twenty seconds later, Luz finds herself in the throne room of the Emperor's castle, her home.
Luz looks around her surroundings before hearing her father's voice, "Well, Luz…" Luz's eyes widen causing her to turn to her father, Belos, who is sitting on his throne looking down at Luz. Luz then kneels down with her head looking at the ground in fear and respect. Belos then asks Luz, "Don't you have something to say, child?"
The princess then begins to think for a moment before an idea pops into her head, "Y-Yes father, there is something that I have to say."
Belos then asks his daughter, "And what would that be?"
Luz then answers, taking a leap of faith, "I-I-I-I won the bet." Belos tilts his head to the left, trying to figure out what Luz was talking about. Then it hits him as Luz goes on saying, "Nearly five hours ago you and I made a deal, between the two of us. Stating that if I was successful in camping outside the castle without any help or having any interaction with civilians or members of the Emperor's coven for 48 hours then you, Emperor Belos, would allow me to go to Hexside. If either of us were to break that 48 hours under any circumstance then that would cause one of two things to happen. If you broke the deal then I would go to Hexside without a single question. But if I break that deal, then I will stay at the castle forever and will not go to school at all. And since you broke said a deal by sending in Darius, Lilith, and whom I'm assuming to be Terra Snapdragon too to bring me back home. Because of sending in two of the coven heads and Lilith a member of the Emperor's coven, by default, I win our little deal, which also means that I will be attending Hexside. As part of our agreement, a curfew will be set for when I go to school. Is this understood, father?"
Belos begins to brood for a solid five minutes thinking about how to respond to Luz's answer. He did break their deal, but for good reason; to save Luz's life. He was glad that Luz was safe and unharmed. Yet, he was also a little mad at himself for breaking the deal even if it was to save Luz's life, he still would have liked to win the deal so that his little princess wouldn't go to school. He then sighs in defeat and answers his adopted daughter, "Very well Luz, you may go to Hexside." Before Luz could say anything, "But remember, if you break any of our rules or if there seems to be an incident at Hexside that you caused or that caused you to be in the crossfire, I will not hesitate to pull you out of school. Am. I. Clear?"
Luz looks up and says with a nod, "I understand father," She then bows like a princess and stands accordingly before saying, "If it is alright with you father, I would like to go to sleep a little early than usual. If this is okay with you."
Belos then nods his head and answers, "Very well then, you may go to sleep." Luz nods her head and walks out of the throne room.
Once Luz makes it to her room and closes the door, she started to celebrate happily that Luz is a step closer to being a normal girl. Luz then silently says to herself, "Titan, thank you so much. I'll never doubt you ever again." Once when Luz was done celebrating, she makes her way to her bathroom and begins to get ready for bed. After Luz was finished getting ready for bed, once she lays down on her bed Luz's eyes widen in realization. She looks at the watch-gauntlet object stuck on her wrist with curiosity. Once she was done looking at it, she says to herself with a heavy sigh, "And here I thought that my life couldn't get any weirder than it is now." The princess then realizes a tired yawn and instantly falls asleep laying on her left side.
A/N: Sorry that this wasn't the chapter that some of you were expecting at all, but I will try to throw in some fight scenes in the next chapter.
