A.N: I hope you all enjoy. I have gotten into a Glee binge, and this was in the back recesses of my crazy, delusional mind. Please be gentle with me. This is purely fan-based and there will be changes here are there.
Chapter 1
It was another beautiful spring Monday morning. Along a middle-class street lined with blooming purple Jacaranda trees began to stir and wake with families getting ready for the day. At the end of the street, at the tip of the cul-de-sac stood a simple, yet modern white and grey two-story house with a large terrace circling it. Inside two happily mated/married men moved about. A handsome tall man with glasses walked around the living room getting his suitcase ready as a lovely African American man got breakfast ready.
"Hiram, honey! Can you get Baby-Ray!" LeRoy called from the kitchen to his husband sweetly as he flipped pancakes up in the air. "Breakfast is almost ready!"
"On my way, sweetie!" Hiram yelled back as he headed up the stairs to his daughter's room at the end of the hall.
"Rae-Bear. Breakfast is almost ready." Hiram stated as he knocked on his daughter's door and opened it slowly. As he entered the room, he saw his daughter still in bed. With a quizzical look on his face, he looked down to his Rolex to see the time.
'7:25am, she never sleeps in. Odd.' Hiram thought to himself worried since she is usually up at 5am doing her morning routines. He got closer to his daughter and took a seat on her bed.
"Rachel, honey. It's time to wake up." Hiram spoke softly as he placed a fatherly hand to her shoulder and shook her slightly.
Rachel stirred and turned over to see her father's worried face. She didn't know what was wrong, but she did not feel like herself. Her muscles felt sore, and her bones felt achy, and felt like her body temperature was higher them normal. She rubbed her eyes and winced with every movement. Her father heard her pained intake of air as her father helped her sit up.
"Rachel is everything alright?" Hiram spoke hurriedly as he held her small hands into his. He reached out to touch her forehead. "You feel slightly warmer than usual. Would you like to stay home today?"
Rachel felt the pain subside as she sighed and opened, her eyes to look at her father. "No dad, I'm alright now. Maybe I just woke up to quickly and made myself dizzy." She pushed her legs from out of the bed and touched the ground gently.
"It's alright dad. I'll just get ready and head downstairs shortly." Rachel kissed her father in the cheek, shuffled off the bed as she adjusted her purple pajama top from her sweat cover body and walked carefully to the bathroom to being her shower.
Hiram stood from the bed and headed out of Rachel's room he turned to gaze worriedly and knowingly to his daughter. "I need to speak to LeRoy. It can't be." he said to himself heading downstairs to speak to his husband.
LeRoy was setting the breakfast table and humming to himself when he saw Hiram. His smile faulted when he saw how deep in thought Hiram was as he took a seat at the kitchen counter.
"Hiram, honey. What's wrong?" LeRoy asked as he went and placed his hands on his husband's shoulders giving them a soft squeeze.
Hiram shook his head as he looked into his husband's brown eyes. He lifted one of his hands and touched the back of LeRoy's neck tenderly making LeRoy shut his eyes.
"I'm not sure, but I can't help but wonder. Our baby Rachel, she is not acting like herself." He spoke in deep thought as he rubbed the mating mark. Touching his mark always calmed him. "I could be over thinking it, but I just can't help but wonder."
LeRoy reached and took Hiram's hand away from his neck and kissed the palm. "If it's what you are thinking we should be prepared. Though how is it possible, the report didn't state it." he sighed quizzically.
Hiram shook his head as he shrugged his shoulders. "We will have to wait and see. Hopefully it's a fluke."
-One Hour Later
Rachel watched the scenery pass buy as her daddy took her to school. She couldn't shake the feeling that he and her dad were worrying about something. But then again, the pain she felt this morning didn't ease their worry.
She didn't know what it was, just a sudden jolt of pain ripped through her whole being as if something was slitting her in two, and as quickly as it hit her it subsided. The only thing that didn't go away was that she was feeling hot all over that not even the breeze outside cooled her.
To try and keep fresh wore dark blue jeans shorts and a dark olive-green button up shirt with her sleeves above her elbows. Gold necklace and bangles with black ankle boots with a 2-inch heel. Her bangs famed her face while the rest hung to her mid back in loose waves.
Ever since glee won Sectionals; when everyone pulled a miracle out of their asses through all the drama, Rachel has relinquished taking all the solos unless asked to do them by her clubmates or Mr. Schuester. When Regionals came and they took 3rd place is when she has noticed that some of her clubmates at Glee started to warm up to her. She knew everyone did their best, she explained that it all mattered that they had fun in the process and that next time they will take 1st.
Her thoughts drifted to a few from Glee. Lauren left Glee to pursue her love of wrestling, yet at school and on the phone, they still hung out and kept in touch. Lauren helped her be more honest and open, along giving some fashion advice. Lauren was a badass, funny and caring in her own way. Rachel was happy to have the wrestler as a friend.
Mike was indifferent to her, he neither made fun of her but he also spoke up when he did not agree with what she said. But she knew that he kept her at arm's length due to the influence of his girlfriend, Tina. She could and would not fault him because to her, he was still her friend. When he spoke, she listened and vice versa. They had mutual respect and the indifference was disappearing. Their friendship was getting better to the point where he stood up for her against his girlfriend.
Matt was more opened with her. He respected her talent and eye for detail, and she respected his dancing and how he tried hard. So, their friendship was going strong. He was quiet most of the time but when Mike got started, he will follow. He stood up for her the couple of times she had been slushied, though she knew he could not stop it. But it was great that the slushie-facials have died down.
Artie and Sugar, going strong together have been there for Rachel just like Mike. Artie and his sweet friendly disposition and Sugar though corky and a little tone deaf, smiled when she would see Rachel. Those singing lessons Sugar had with Rachel paid off.
Her thoughts were interrupt when her daddy cleared his throat and began to speak. "So, what plans does your glee instructor have for your club?"
"I'm not sure daddy but I hope it is something extraordinary and imaginative like the mash-ups we did before sectionals." Rachel stated to LeRoy as a small smile graced his face.
He sighed and asked. "Are you feeling alright?"
Rachel turned from the passenger side window and looked at her daddy. "I think so. I still feel a little hot and a have a bit of a headache but nothing unbearable."
"You sure you don't want to stay home today? You know, just in case." LeRoy said not looking away from the road.
She could not understand why both her fathers keep insisting she stay home. She felt fine, maybe a little hot and a mild headache, but she really wants to go to school. She wanted to spend time with her friends. She looked back out the passenger window and let her mind wander.
She thought of Finn. Even though she and Finn did not work out. She knew she would always have a tender spot for the tall quarterback. Finn was goofy and very sweet and thoughtful; she knew she could count on him when she is in need. He and Quinn were just made for one another, that no matter what he felt for Rachel, his whole heart belonged to Quinn.
When Finn broke it off with Rachel a month before Regionals, he was so tender with her feelings that; that was the most mature moment Rachel has ever seen Finn look. She could not be mad at him, and after a couple of weeks of self-reflection and understanding, Rachel spoke to Finn and Quinn, and they all remained best of friends.
Quinn even took a kind of older sister roll with Rachel. Rachel helped Quinn when she got slushied and explained that they were not so different. When Rachel backed away from Finn and helped them get back together, Rachel noticed that the pretty blonde started standing up for her against the other Glee members that would belittle Rachel.
The blonde would even get Noah; though Rachel knew they tried to do it in secret, to beat up anyone who would do wrong to Rachel. She and Quinn have come a long way, from Quinn calling her names to now being the closest ever.
Ah, Noah Puckerman. He was her very best friend, since that one week of them dating and everything she and he had gone through. From slushie-facials and the odd love-square that was going on for a while between Rachel, Finn, Quinn and Noah.
Rachel laughed internally when she remembered Noah and Finn slashing the tires of Vocal Adrenaline's cars. A small warm smile graced her lovely features when she remembered Noah getting extremely mad when she came into choir class in tears as everyone saw her covered in eggs. Noah began to round up the guys to beat the shit out of her ex-boyfriend, Jesse St. James before Mr. Schuester stopped them and enticed us to show what we got on the stage with a great funk song.
She thought of the times they would perform with a group, and he would reach out to her. From his help with her boy problems, to him stating he liked her when the group that could not stand her said they didn't like her. He would include her to everything. Things just felt right with Noah.
She didn't know what it was. It felt like a gravitation they had for one another. She felt calm around him, safe even. He was brutely honest, abrasive and the mouth that could put a sailor to shame, but he was just himself with a side that literally very few people have seen. He was sweet, caring, charming, funny. Noah was just Noah.
As of late when he touched her, or even looked at her she felt a surge of electricity just engulf her very being. She would get goosebumps, or a rush of warmth surround her. She just didn't know why when he was near the back of her neck felt hot and tingled like needles prickling her.
Rachel rubbed at the back of her neck again and turned to her daddy. "I'm alright daddy. Would you and dad feel comfortable if I called if anhing goes wrong?"
LeRoy smiled lovely at his sweet daughter. They reached the school as he parked to let her out. With a quick hug he answered. "Yes, please and have a good day." And with that Rachel was out the door.
/
When Rachel passed the entrance of the school a wave a nausea hit her. She swayed and placed one hand on her mouth and the other holding the door frame. She shut her eyes tight hoping it would go away. All she could hear was the pounding of her heart in her ears not the worried voice calling to her from down the school hallway.
'What the hell is going on with me?' she thought to herself when she felt a warm hand on her back. She looked up to see the face of a worried Quinn beside her.
"Rachel, what's wrong?" Quinn asked in worry as she rubbed Rachel's back soothingly.
The nausea died down and Rachel began to steady herself. She shook her head and took a deep breath, while giving her worried friend a soft smile.
"I'm alright now Quinn. I must have eaten something bad last night." Rachel stated as she smoothed out her shirt.
Quinn raised a flawless eyebrow at her sick friend noticing little drops of sweat on Rachel's temples and the bridge of her nose. As she took in her friends reassuring smile, Quinn linked Rachel's arm and they began to walk.
"If you say so Rae. By the way, what brand of perfume are you wearing it smells sweet?" Quinn asked as she led Rachel to her locker.
Rachel looked to Quinn, she is wearing an orange and yellow knees length floral dress with a soft white cardigan. Gold cross and bangles with brown suede ankle boots.
With a confused look I'm in her eyes she says, "I am not wearing perfume. I mean I sprayed on a mist, but it's supposed to smell like a summer breeze or the beach."
"Well, whatever it is it smells good. Come on let's get this day over with." Quinn teased making Rachel giggle as she watched Quinn roll her eyes and make funny faces.
/
Nothing was going right for Rachel as the day progressed. The heat and the bouts of pain that coursed through her was just not helping.
In Chemistry she dropped a dangerous chemical on the floor which melted one of the legs of the table to her right as the hand holding the chemical let go to grip her head in pain. Her other hand was holding the tablet to her left to steady herself.
Calculus, she had to run out the room holding her stomach with one hand and her mouth with the other as she raced to the bathroom.
That's how her day continued. To add with the oddity of the day; many of the students, both male and female, which were all Alphas looked at her with a glazed over hungry look in their eyes for a moment. And most of them had mates!
She sighed tiredly walking to the choir room before everyone else and took a seat at the corner in the far back. As she leaned her head back against the wall and closing her eyes.
'This is so not my day. Maybe I should have stayed home.' She sighed to herself as she collected all her hair and moved it over her left shoulder.
'I wasn't this bad when I got laryngitis.' She was so into herself that she didn't notice someone enter the choir room and sat beside her until she heard the scraping of a chair.
She just instantly knew who it was. She senses were on high alert. Her nose picked up the scent of sandalwood, leather and a hint of fresh pine forest. She had never noticed before, but the smell made her blood rush. It felt like a drug making her feel lightheaded and floaty. It hypnotized her that her headache disappeared.

Noah "Puck" Puckerman, well known for his edgy and extensive reputation along with his charm and good looks comes walking down the hall, as many students parted for him like when Jim Carrey parted his soup in Bruce Almighty. Noah chuckled at the thought of that scene played in his mind. Having watched the movie last night, it stuck to him still making him laugh.
He wore a crisp white shirt with a light jean button up shirt left open with the sleeves folded to his elbows. Black form fitted jeans with a chain on the left side and untied black matte Doc Martin's. His black backpack slung to his right shoulder and a smirk on his face.
He watched as many of the girls look at him with hunger and admiration while the guys held slight fear. He knew what they wanted, which made him feel like a King. He smiled to himself smugly as he released some of his pheromones to tease. He knew he was a sought-after dominant Alpha, and he has had his fair share of cougars and girls.
But because of that he ended up hurting many people, including his best friend Finn and Quinn. He thought Quinn was his mate, he wanted to believe so badly that she was, and at the time he was doing anything and everything to have her, Finn or no Finn. He was just so enamored with her that when he released his pheromones, she didn't even flinch, just commenting on a very strong smell that made her feel dizzy. That was what showed him that she was just a Beta, a very beautiful Beta. So instead of instinct he decided to turn up his charm.
Yes, he slept with her when she was still dating Finn at the time. Flirted and tried desperately to hold on to her when she and Finn were broken up. It only took a couple of weeks in Glee for the cat to literally be yanked out of the bag. When he told Mercedes of his indiscretion. Only for her to tell the clubs biggest gossip, Kurt.
Kurt to open his mouth and announce what happen between Quinn and himself, which earned him a couple of punches from Finn. He knew he deserved it, but at that time he did not care and gave some punches back. The incident took place because Puck and Quinn stood up for Rachel when Kurt lost the lead in a diva-off to our club's diva, Rachel Berry.
Puck's thoughts switched to the small brunette. He really got to know her deep that one week they dated. It was a complicated square dance between Finn, Quinn, Rachel and himself. She broke it off with him because she was still hung up on Finn and she knew he was still very much into Quinn. But after she and he made up and because of her big heart she managed to get Quinn and Finn to accept his apology, and they all have been the closest ever since.
Rachel was just someone who was in a category all on her own. She was sweet, warm and confident. She never showed weakness, even was she was being ridiculed by the others in Glee. She held her head high with confidence as she continued. But Puck could see the sadness that she held back in her large brown doe eyes. She wanted to be liked, wanted to have friends, but her intensity for greatness just put off a lot of people. Not to mention that she can speak a mile a minute and was also a walking Webster Dictionary.
As he thought of her, he could see the influence all her new friends have advised her with. She was calmer and happy. She was fucken hot! She was hot to him even before the wardrobe change. He was ok with her preppy look that showed off her killer dancer's legs, but with the clothing change she now seemed more relaxed and approachable. For some reason that bothered him the most.
Tough lately he noticed that she has been a bit off as of late. He had one class with her which was Chemistry and he saw she was not feeling well. She almost melted a table when she dropped the chemical and raced out of the classroom. He wanted to follow but the teacher would not let him. 'Ass!'
He and the rest of Glee have not seen her at lunch. Most thought she was in the auditorium singing her heart out. Well, that was until Tina explained that Rachel was taking a nap in the nurse's office since both girls had the same Math class. Again, Puck wanted to go check on her, but the nurse would not let me in. 'Bitch.'
It was finally time for Glee and Puck thought he was the first one in when he entered, only to be surprised to see the little diva that was dancing in his thoughts all day. Sitting in her not so usual place with her eyes closed and her dark tresses framing her face.
Puck walked quietly to the seat next to her and took it as he studied her profile. He didn't say a word, only listened to her soft breathing. He looked to see her long eyelashes delicately resting against her soft cheeks. Cute nose, which he is so glad she did not fix and those full lips.
He could see her cheeks looked slightly red and light sweat on her cute nose, forehead and temples making her hair stick to her. He watched a trail of sweat run down her exposed delicate neck, which made his pants begin to feel a bit snug.
Lately the scent of water lilies and honeysuckle seemed to follow Rachel everywhere she goes. It has become engraved into his brain that he can follow where she has been and where she is. As the days go on the scent seems to be getting stronger. It makes his mouth dry up and water at the same time, as well as making his teeth tingle.
"It's very rude to stare, Noah." He heard her softly say.
He shook his head and adjusted himself more comfortably in his seat. He noticed that while he was in a trance watching her, everyone was already in their seats and throwing glances to them.
He placed his cocky mask back in and smirked. "Shit Legs, how can I not stare when you are showing off those great legs."
"While that nickname is not one of my favorites, I'll take it as a compliment." Rachel smiled softly to him and looked to the front when Mr. Sch Schuester walked in with a smile.
Will Schuester walked into the choir room with a warm smile as he looked to his students. With a clap of his hands, he began to speak. "Well, hello everyone! I Hope you are all ready for the day. Now today..." he paused and began to sniff around.
"Does it smell sweet in here?" Will asked as he looked around.
Everyone nodded and began to speak over each other.
"I have been smelling it all day." Exclaimed Sam as he inhaled deeply.
"It has a very calming smell." Stated Blaine as he closed his eyes and took in a breath.
The comments continued as Quinn looked to Rachel and saw her breathing softly with her eyes closed. When her eyes flickered to Puck sitting next to Rachel, she saw him with his fists clenched in his lap and it looked like his fingers could draw blood.
But what made her eyes widened slightly in a bit a fear, which made her reach for Finn's hand instinctually was the hard glare he was sporting as everyone spoke.
"Um, Mr. Schuester how about we open a window and continue what we are doing this week?" Quinn spoke hurriedly trying to distract everyone.
Will nodded his has as he asked Mike, Sam and Puck to open the high windows behind them. "Now what I was going to say is this week is emotions. And not just any emotion. It must be an intense emotion."
"Music can express any emotion that one is feeling. Like love, hate and desire. I want you to search in yourself and find the strongest want and preform it. But there is going to be a twist." He grinned and placed his hand in his pockets.
"I want you to find two songs. Total opposites of each other but stating the same emotion. And it will be boys vs. girls. Can't wait to see what you got. Now to begin a dry run, let's have Rachel start us off then next will be Kurt." Will moved to give Rachel space.
"Hey, if Rachel can't do it, I'm all ready to be the first." Mercedes chimed in a dramatical fashion as she turned her head to smirk up at Rachel.
"As much as I would like to just relax since I am not feeling so well. I am a professional and the show must go on." Retorted Rachel, yet without her usual bit as she got up to the front slowly.
As she went to the pianist, she caught a few of her friends smiled knowing that nothing will keep Rachel from the spotlight and a few others rolled their eyes in annoyance with her.
A flat, yet soft voice spoke. "I don't think it's a good idea. Lord Tubbington told me this morning that today was going to be a bad day." A dazed off Brittany stated with slight nervousness as she held out her hand for her girlfriend Santana to hold.
Santana who was sitting to Brittany's left looked to her sweet, head in the cloud's girlfriend. She shared a look with Sam who sat on Brittany's right and just shrugged.
The choir room felt electrified. Like the air and energy around was super charged and the sweet smell once again surrounded the room. It was making everyone in the room a bit uncomfortable and dare he say a bit lustful. Puck didn't know what it could be. He felt anxious and horny, and the smell was just wrapping itself around him.
His right leg moving anxiously while his fists and jaw clenched. He shut his eyes and didn't notice the concerned looks Finn and Quinn were giving him. He knew they have never seen him like this. Many girls and women have thrown themselves at him. Many Alphas, Betas and Omegas, but he had never felt like he was going to lose his shit like right now.
Puck wanted to keep his eyes shut and just listened to Rachel sing a song about this week's assignment. His mind was so muddled that he could not even make out what song it was or the lyrics she sang. He was just lost in her voice that when she hit that high note, he opened his eyes, which held a hardened, possessive and hungry look in them and looked straight at the girl before him when it happened.
Rachel was feeling the weight is her body as she began the song. She has never felt like a bolder was resting in her shoulders when she sang. She always felt like music and singing lifted her to another plain of existence. She thought back of how the day went, she felt confused and a little frightened. If she doesn't get better will Mr. Schuester and everyone one in the room tell her to leave Glee?
She was worried about how she was feeling. She suddenly felt like electricity had engulf her. Starting from her spine to her legs, started to feel hot again, feverish even. Sweat was starting to run down her temples, and she felt like she was getting winded when she took in a breath to belt out the high note in the middle of the song.
Her eyes were closed shut she didn't notice that some of her Glee mates with a second gender in the room were feeling uncomfortable. Nor the looks the others, who are Betas, looking around the room in confusion or kind of moving away from the anxiety riddled Noah.
The back if her next began to ache and she felt heat radiating from there. She opened her eyes when she finished the note and her eyes instinctively fell on Noah and saw that hard glaring look. Her whole body shook, and she wrapped her arms around her midsection tightly as she fell to her knees where she stood. Rachel felt a sudden rush of her blood and heat between her legs, with all the energy she could muster, she got up and ran out of the classroom.
Everyone looked shocked at what just happened. Only one thought ran through everyone's mind.
' RACHEL IS AN OMEGA?!'
A.N: I hope you enjoyed my story. Please be gentle, it's my first time writing but I was just hit with inspiration when I started binge watching Glee. Plus, I read WAY too many manga's as well. HAHA!
