Summary: Sirius meets his daughter for the first time after sixteen years when she was born. He never knew that she would change his and Harry's life. (A/N: NESSAANCALIME6913 wrote the article).

The morning Sirius arrived at his childhood home, he never expected to see the live-in resident inside his childhood home. The only people who could live there were those of Black blood or those that married into the immediate family. It was a safety measure that his family insisted on, and one he wholeheartedly agreed with. But when he saw just who it was, he was stunned and overcome with joy. His beautiful little girl stood in front of him with her wand drawn. She looked just like him in female form. They could have been twins. The only difference was the eyes. His were grey, while hers were a striking blue. "Mira," he breathed, stunned. "Hello, daddy," she greeted, crossing the hallway and hugging him.

"Where's your mother?" he asked. Rosaline Joséphine Prewett was a half-blood of the Prewett bloodline. Sirius had known that marrying and having children with another pureblood would result in a less powerful child or a squib child. Now, he had no problem with anyone that didn't come from purebloods, but he fell in love with Rosa when they were fifteen. No one knew that he was married. "At work," she answered. smiling as she led him into the new and improved house that he had grown up in. "She knew that you were innocent, but since you both decided against telling anyone about your marriage except for uncle Jimmy and aunt Lily, she couldn't demand a trial," Mira explained.

"I know. That was a mistake because I could have watched you grow up," he muttered angrily. He was furious at himself for coming up with that. He had decided to hide his marriage and his daughter from those that would wish them harm. "Daddy, I understand. Though I think you and mum should announce it so that she can demand a trial, and I can start using the Black name. I'm known at school as Rose Prewett. Mom had told me that you wanted to protect the two of us as much as you possibly could, so when I attended Hogwarts, she used my middle name so no one would know about me. I am tired of hiding who I am," she said as she called for Romy, her personal house elf. Romy has looked out for her from the time she was a baby.

"Master Siri!" Romy exclaimed, hugging his legs. "Is this Dobby's elfling? I had to purchase her, so she wouldn't be mistreated," Sirius said smiling at the little elf. He noticed that the young elf was wearing a tiny skirt, a blouse with the Black crest, and little black mary-jane shoes. "Yes. This is Romy," Mira said smiling at her little friend. "Where is Kreacher?" Sirius asked with disdain in his voice. "He died the second I freed him. He tried to poison me with belladonna in my tea," Mira said causing her father to lose complete control of his temper causing glasses to break through the room. Luckily, it was easily fixed.

"I'm glad that little monster is dead. It looks different here. It feels different," he muttered after he took a calming draught. "When I was growing up, mum had asked the goblins and curse breakers to go through it with a fine-tooth comb. Everything dark or that was cursed was either destroyed or dispelled. The portraits were removed and placed in the family vault," she explained. "We took out a few walls and made the first floor an open concept. And since the house is hidden, we placed some charmed and enchanted windows around the house, to bring in some light," she continued explaining.

"That's amazing. Now, what does your mother do?" he asked. "She is a potions master, though don't call her that. She says that she is a woman, and she preferred potions mistress," Mira laughingly explained. "That sounds like her," he fondly recalled. "Speaking of which. Mum has potions ready for you to counteract what you endured with the dementors. Sunshine and happiness potions, nutrition potions, and potions to help fix your teeth" Mira said, asking Romy to retrieve the required potions. "Though, mum did say that once you are cleared, she will set up appointments with a mind healer for you. Cousin Andy became one. She decided on that career choice since she knew you were innocent, but because she was disowned, she couldn't do a thing about it," Mira sadly explained. She had a suspicion on why anyone that could have helped her father was either not able to or someone was stopping anyone from getting her father the help he deserves.

"Do you know Remus Lupin?" he asked as she took the potions. "He was my favorite professor. Although, I don't like him as your friend. It has nothing to do with him beinging a werewolf. But it does have everything to do with him not even attempting to find out if you were indeed innocent or guilty when you were sent to that terrible place," she explained not wanting her father to be angry with her but not lying to him about why she did not like Remus. "I understand. But there is something you nor your mother know. I told everyone, including Remus that I was the Secret Keeper to protect the traitor. It's not entirely Moony's fault," he explained.

"All I can promise is to give him a chance. Nothing more," she said, smiling when he smiled in agreement. Mira's attitude and temperament were the only things she inherited from her mother along with her stunning blue eyes, but Mira's personality traits come from her father, not to mention her gorgeous good looks came from him also. She was the perfect mix of her parents. Though instead of Slytherin or Gryffindor, Mira was a Ravenclaw. She valued learning, and magic. She was neither light nor dark, but gray. Mira cared not about any side, she cared about magic as a whole. What people have forgotten is that magic is neither good nor bad, it is how magic is used.

"Where is Harry?" she asked after some time. "With Petunia," he answered, watching as his little girl's face went stone-like with anger clear in her eyes. It was the first glimpse that he has gotten of the Black family madness. He vowed to do everything possible to stop the madness from taking his daughter. "Why? A muggle cannot possibly understand what a magical child would need. I have nothing against muggles, but they should not have a magical child in their care," Mira said, losing her temper.

"I agree with you, princess," Sirius said. "What people don't know is that Harry and I are first cousins. Mum is his aunt. She is Petunia's and aunt Lily's half-sister," Mira explained. "I didn't know that. Well, Dobby can still hear our calls, so let's have him pick Harry up, and bring him here," Sirius suggested. "Thank you, daddy," Mira said. "Dobby," they called, and the little elf appeared. "Sir, Missy," he greeted. "Dobby, bring Harry here, and his belongings. He will not be living with those terrible people any longer," Sirius kindly ordered. "Dobby be happy to," he squealed, and popped away, seconds later, appearing with a very confused Harry.

"What am I doing here?" he asked Sirius before turning towards Mira. "Aren't you Rose Prewett?" he asked. "Please sit down. We have a lot to explain," Sirius asked his godson. Two hours later, Harry was enraged. His life could have been so different. "Why didn't your mother raise me?" he asked. "We didn't know where you were. After our first year, we tried tracking charms, locating potions, and we couldn't find you. The most we could do was look out for you while you were here in the magical world. You are now one of the wealthiest young men in our world. You were already rich as the Potter family has been around since Merlin, but after people tried to get rich by using your name, and aunt Lily's and uncle Jimmy's names and deaths, we put a stop to it with the help of Dumbledore," Mira explained.

"Thank you," Harry said. "No problem. That's what families do. They watch out for each other. Have you eaten?" Mira asked. "No. I haven't eaten anything in two days," he said. "Well, Petunia and her lard of a husband will be going to prison when Ted Tonks gets a hold of them," Sirius said, before Mira and Harry fixed lunch together, laughing and having a good time getting to know each other. It was nice seeing his daughter and godson get along. Now, if only his wife was home. Just as he thought that his wife came out of the floo. Harry was stunned at how much his aunt looked like his mother. The only difference was the blue eyes, and her hair wasn't as wavy as his mother's.

"Harry," she breathed as she caught sight of her nephew. "Oh, sweetheart. I am so happy to officially meet you," she said taking him into her arms, noticing the flinch he tried to hide and she felt rage at Petunia and Vernon. She knew they had abused him, and now she could do something about it. "Harry, I know you won't like this, but we are going shopping. It is time for you to take your place as heir to the House of Potter, and with that, comes responsibilities," Mira said, summoning her Gringotts card.

Harry looked confused. "What is this about the House of Potter?" he asked sitting down and everyone was enraged at his lack of knowledge. Dumbledore said he would make sure that Harry would know everything he required so he wasn't ripped apart by the vultures. "The Noble and Ancient House of Potter is one of the oldest families around. They are allied with a lot of families, and you unknowingly, insulted quite a few, so we need to fix that. I know Dumbledore wanted you to grow up without an ego, but he did you a disservice when he failed to train you in everything you need to know about your family. So, when we enter Gringotts, we will be meeting with your account manager, and you will be gaining the heir ring," Rosaline explained. "Why didn't Sirius explain last year?" Harry asked just as Sirius came back into the room. "It's the effects of being in Azkaban. I lose focus a lot, and my memory isn't the best right now," he explained.

"Did you take your potions?" Rosa asked her husband. "Yes, love," he said smiling. "You will be coming with us. Stand still, and I'll perform a glamour charm on you," Rosa kindly directed her husband. When they got to Gringotts, they were escorted into Goldaxe's office so Harry would know what he had at his disposal. Four hours later, they left the bank. Harry was stunned at just how much he was going to inherit upon his seventeenth birthday. The most shocking about the entire process was speaking with Rita Seeker about the injustice that had been done to Sirius.

After Harry had everything he could possibly need, they headed back to Grimmauld Place to help him put away his belongings. After they had dinner, an evening edition of the Daily Prophet arrived. When they read through the article, they smiled. It was everything they had been hoping for.

A BLACK MARK ON THE MINISTRY

By Rita Skeeter

Good morning my devoted followers to another thrilling expose on the disappearance of one Sirius Black! But before we get to that, let's go over a little bit of history...

Sirius Black is the most known man who was caught by our amazing Aurors in London on the night of 1 November 1981. He was arrested for telling You-Know-Who the exact location of two of his best friends, one of whom he had claimed was his brother in all but blood.

This ruse that he portrayed throughout his years at Hogwarts was a devious ploy to turn his friends over to the darkest wizard since Gellert Grindelwald and sadly it led to the untimely and horrifying death of not only Lord James and Lady Lily Potter nee Evans (Merlin rest their souls) but also the man behind the deaths of twelve muggles and Black's supposed best friend Peter Pettigrew!

Now to go back a little into the dark past: on Halloween night in 1981; a much-beloved day of celebration for all of us was turned into a night of fear, pain, and unimaginable horrors for the young Potter family. Unbeknownst to them what should have been a night of joy and happiness for most was the night the wizarding world of Britain lost two fearless, strong, and devoted parents when He-who-must-not-be named blew into their home, taking the life of Lord James Charles Potter then his beautiful fiery-haired wife Lady Lily Elizabeth Potter nee Evans.

Now, wait dear readers because something occurred that could only happen in fairytales or grand stories of good triumphing over evil! Harry James Potter survived that night and not only did he live through a most horrendous act of inhumanity but this young child survived the Killing Curse! The young heir of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Potter was then spirited away by our beloved headmaster to a secret undisclosed location where young Harry would be safe from possible attacks from those wanting revenge for their fallen leader.

This is where Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew come into the tale. The night after this painful loss, Black cornered Pettigrew. Peter then announced to many that Black was responsible for the death of Lily and James Potter! With his faults laid bare Sirius Black then sent a powerful Blasting curse towards Pettigrew, sadly he and 50 muggles perished in what the Muggle government claimed was a gas pipe explosion.

This now brings us where this expose started dear readers and I truly hope that you are still with me because what happens now will set your wands spinning and catch your robes (if you're wearing any) on fire with disbelief.

Sirius Black was thrown into Azkaban prison without being tried by his peers for the crimes he is accused of! This travesty is made much worse when one realizes that Sirius Black is the current Lord of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Black. The title passed to him after the deaths of his grandfather Arcturus and his uncle Alphard black whom Mr...sorry Lord Black was close to. The ministry does not have any rights to strip titles from these Most Ancient and Noble Houses.

One must ask themselves, why was this miscarriage of justice allowed to happen?! To which this intrepid reporter can not answer. I can say that the one who held the most responsibility for this was Barty Crouch, Sr. who was in charge of trying and sentencing Death Eaters to Azkaban.

The trial of Sirius Black will be the most talked-about event since the Boy-Who-Lived came to Hogwarts. The truth shall be given as to why Lord Black did the heinous things he was accused of and subsequently, wrongly imprisoned for on that Halloween and November night in 1981.

Now dear readers, you must be completely baffled and curious as to how this amazing reporter came upon this story? Lord Black's wife Lady Rosaline Josephine Prewitt of course wanted and needed to prove her husband's innocence, not just for Sirius' sake but also for their daughter Mira Rose Prewitt who is in her 6th year at Hogwarts and the Heiress of the House of Black!

The reason for no one knowing about Lady and Heiress Black was Lord Sirius Black's desire to protect his family. I think we can all understand the desire to protect those that we cherish most. The only way this plan backfired was that no one knew that Lord Black was married, so he couldn't get the trial he was entitled to.

The absolute horror of carrying this stain on one's family must have been truly terrifying and difficult for these two wonderful witches. The fact also shows that the soul-sucking, horror-inducing Dementors could have caused unequivocal changes to her husband is also on Lady Black's mind. After all, one needs to realize that a life surrounded by a vicious mob of Dementors is not something that respectable witches and wizards would wish on their worst enemies. This inhumanity needs to be stopped. We are in a time where peace and trust should be the most important thought and while punishing those who have done wrong is needed; to do so using Dementors is a relic of our past that needs to be kept where it started...the past.

Without the corruption of our past perhaps our future will have more joy and hope, especially for Lord Sirius Black, Lady Rosaline Black, and their beloved daughter Heiress Mira Black.

Tomorrow, with the permission of the Potter heir, we will publish the Last Will and Testament of Lord James Charles Potter and Lady Lily Elizabeth Potter nee Evans.

Until next time readers, this is Rita Skeeter reporting the real truth of the heinous lies told to us.

"That should get the Ministery off their behinds and fix this mess. Sirius has the right to live his life, and not live in fear that the Ministery will kill him," Harry said before they all went to bed.
