Summary: Primrose was the only person or being to survive the war after the muggles got involved. No longer having anything to live for, she decides to perform an ancient, but forgotten spell in the Emrys Grimorie that would transport her back in time. In doing so, Primrose vows to save her home from the muggles, but she never factored in the risk of a paradox.

Chapter 1: The Spell

Primrose was never expected to be the only surviving magical being on the planet. It was heartbreaking. She wished she could place all the blame on Voldemort and his Death Eaters, but that wouldn't be fair. The truth was, the blame belonged to everyone the second the war leaked over into the muggle world. Primrose understood why the muggles reacted the way they did, but she wished they hadn't used chemical weapons. Thankfully, all the buildings survived the war, or else Primrose wouldn't have survived.

Primrose was beginning to think that the only reason she somehow survived the war was, so she could go back and fix the outcome and get the chance to save more lives. After the war ended six months earlier, Primrose has been going through her vaults and was surprised to find out that she was the magical heiress of Hogwarts, along with being the bloodline heiress of Myrddin, better known as Merli, and lastly, she was the heiress of Le Fay. When she discovered who she was, Primrose was angry because she could have made some wonderful changes and possibly stopped the war before it leaked over into the muggle world.

After looking through her vaults, and discovering what her parents had done during their school years and the war, Primrose was so ashamed. From what she had been told, she thought they had been good people, but they did so many terrible things. Now, Primrose knew they weren't necessarily evil, but they had treated everyone so badly. Lily had turned her back on her family after discovering she was a witch, and turned against her best friend for one ill-thought insult due to embarrassment and pain. Primrose knew her mother grew up, but she couldn't believe her mother had done something like that.

Now her father, on the other hand, had been a bully to anyone that was different from him or came from families without any money. Primrose was so thankful that she hadn't gone to school with him because Merlin only knew how he would have treated her. During the first magical war in the seventies, her parents had done some terrible things, but the worst was when they kidnapped Neville from his parents, Bellatrix and Rodolphus LeStrange, and cursed them sterile and barren. Primrose now understood why the LeStrange couple turned out the way they did. Primrose knew she would have reacted the same way.

Thankfully, Sirius and Remus had known nothing about what James and Lily had done during the war. Granted, they discovered it by mistake when they went to Godric's Hollow and found the journals before Griphook, the Potter Account Manager, had moved everything into the vaults. Coincidentally, Sirius and Remus were killed two weeks later. Primrose was willing to bet that Dumbledore had them murdered to stop anyone from finding out that Neville was the kidnapped child of the late Lord and Lady LeStrange.

James and Lily may have been her parents, but Primrose was happy she hadn't known them if they were willing to put someone through the loss of a child. Hell, Severus, Remus, and Sirius were her parents in every way. They had blood, adopted her when she was thirteen years old. The fights that everyone in the Order witnessed had been staged, so they could protect Primrose from Dumbledore. They had known he had been planning something involving Primrose, so they did everything possible to protect her. It turned out they had been right to worry as during her sixth year at Hogwarts, Dumbledore tried to rape her but thanks to their training, Primrose put that monster in a coma.

She almost spent six months in Azkaban, but thankfully they allowed her to submit her memories. When everyone found out just what kind of man he was, they threw him into the Veil of Death. But when Voldemort thought he could take control of Magical Britain without Dumbledore in the way, he was surprised when everyone started fighting back. Within six months, his Death Eaters were killed off until only two remained, but it had been too late. The Queen and her military wiped out the magical world. Now only Primrose remained.

While going through Emry's vaults, Primrose found a shocking spell in the personal Grimoire of Myrddin. The spell would allow her to go back to change things in any timeframe she desired. The catch was she wouldn't be able to keep the family name she was born with. That was understandable, as there would be too many questions. Knowing that she would risk everything, Primrose already chose a name. Pandora. That family died out over two centuries ago, everyone would assume they have been in hiding.

But the most shocking thing, Primrose discovered, was the staff's that once belonged to Morgana Le Fay and Myrddin Emrys. Having decided to go back in time, and wanting something different from an ordinary wand, Primrose decided to recreate the staff's that once belonged to her ancestors. Thankfully, she was taught how to craft wands, having studied under Garrick Ollivander. But instead of forging wands in bulk, Primrose wanted to make custom wands, trying them to the owner's bloodline and magical signature.

Anyway, Primrose's first and only project had been reforging her wand that she had gotten when she was eleven years old and the wand she had won when she defended herself against Dumbledore during her sixth year. She had reforged and blended them together perfectly while adding something more. After Primrose reforged her wand, it was eleven inches with the combined woods of the Elder and Holly trees. The wand had a triple-core of a phoenix feather, thestral tail hair, and a feather from her familiar, Hedwig. And for the finishing touch, the wand was washed in her blood, giving the wand a red tinge.

After some thought, Primrose decided against reforging the Staff's that had once belonged to Morgana and Myrddin, but instead, she wanted to create a wand with the same properties as the staffs. It took a few weeks, but she finally found everything she needed. Then it took another few weeks to finish creating Morgana's wand. It was ten inches forged from the Rowan tree. The wand had a double core of thestral tail hair soaked in Phoenix tears. And for the finishing touch, the wand was washed in the blood Morgana left behind, giving the wand a red tinge.

After creating Morgana's wand, Primrose went looking for the properties for Myrddin's wand. But thanks to the muggles using chemical weapons, finding everything she required was harder than it should have been. It took another month to find what she required. But after Primrose had everything, the wand was eleven inches, forged from the Hornbeams tree. And like Morgana's wand, it had a double core of unicorn tail hair soaked in phoenix tears. And again for the finishing touch, the wand was washed in the blood Myrddin left behind, giving the wand a red tinge.

It took a little longer, but Primrose finally had everything for her new life. She took everything that belonged to her bloodlines, placing them in the beaded bag that Hermione had gifted her on her sixteenth birthday, and inside her twelve compartment trunk she had purchased when she was fourteen. Thankfully, all of her clothing survived the war in great condition, but instead of keeping it, she planned on donating them along with her school books. Merlin knows that her books are the same from the seventies. She was going to change that. But aside from her family fortunes, she took everything from the bank as it could no longer be used as everyone is now deceased.

Looking around herself one last time, seeing the devastation of her home, Primrose chanted the spell, "Astrum Perennis Libertos," as soon as she finished, Primrose felt her wand grow hot and suddenly, she felt as though she was falling with the world around her disappearing as she was swallowed up by darkness.

Chapter 2: Adjusting

In another world, another tie, Primrose Pandora was lying face-down on her luxurious four-poster king-size bed, crying into her pillow, mourning the loss of her parents, Lord and Lady, Andrew Pandora and Diana Pandora nee Dior, last daughter of the french Dior Fashion Dynasty. She has just celebrated her fifteenth birthday when tragedy struck.

Her father had been a renowned spell creator, and while working on a new spell, her father had been trying to create a better and more controlled version of Fiendfyre, but sadly, that didn't work out. Primrose had been trying relentlessly to get her father to stop working on that spell, but he had been a very stubborn man. The cursed fire took the lives of her parents and took out over half of the woods surrounding Thornewood Castle, their ancestral home.

Not many people knew this, but the Pandora's were direct descendants from Myrddin Emrys, while the Dior's were direct descendants from Morgana Le Fay. The only ones who knew where they come from were the account managers and the family lawyers, and they swore on their lives and magic not to reveal anything until the family themselves came forward. Primrose knew she was going to reveal who she was, but she needed time to mourn before she moved into the Pandora Townhouse in Diagon Alley. She would continue living in Thornewood Castle, but it felt so empty now that her parents were no longer with her. Maybe in a few years, when she's married, she'll move back into her ancestral home.

Just as she was thinking about everything she needed to arrange, she felt pain, pain, and more pain. It was as if a five hundred pound Hippogriff had sat on her head. It was the most painful thing she has ever experienced.

From behind her eyelids, Primrose saw images flashing past at incredible speeds. She saw the life of another woman by the name of Primrose Potter. The History of abuse…finding out she was a witch…the truth of her parent's deaths…making friends with the Weasley family, Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood…saving the Philosopher's Stone…the basilisk…the dementors of Azkaban…Voldemort's reincarnation ritual…the terror of the blood war… Horcruxes…dying and coming back…the muggles getting involved and killing off the magical world…and finally performing the spell.

The moment she saw the last memory, Primrose lost consciousness. Her mind was overwhelmed with the influx of new memories and shut down. When she woke up two hours later, the memories were still there, but her headache had lessened, and she was able to bring up her Occlumency shields to help her better compartmentalize the memories.

She spent hours sitting completely still in a meditative state, just absorbing everything. When she had a rough idea of the other Primrose's life, she opened her eyes. She had also noticed that her magical core tripled in size. The spell that the girl performed worked to a degree, but not how the girl envisioned. Primrose had concluded that they were very similar, so instead of coming back in time, the spell transferred her to another dimension, merging them together.

As she looked around the room, Primrose noticed that there was another trunk, along with a blue beaded bag. She knew that they somehow made it to this dimension, while the other girl was merging with her. She knew what she was going to do with all of that money. Not only that, but she had plans to save the wizarding world and would need it.

She was just thankful that in her world that Lord Tom Marvolo Gaunt wasn't the insane, snakelike, megalomaniac monster that he had been in the other Primrose's world. In fact, he was the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor along with being the Head of House for Slytherin. He has also made some wonderful changes in the wizarding world. There was now a department in the Ministry that was dedicated to the welfare of magical children. It was called the Magical Children Protection Services. It was now mandatory for all first-year students to get an in-depth medical scan during the first two weeks of school. He had also changed his last name from Riddle to Gaunt. He hadn't wanted to keep the name of his biological father after he had abandoned his mother, and himself. After hearing his story, everyone supported him.

Bloody hell, Primrose viewed him as an uncle. She grew up with him around due to him being friends with her parents, along with him being her Godfather. The reason she wasn't going to live with him was because of him being a professor, and living at Hogwarts for the school year. On the bright side, there will be a floo connection between the Pandora Townhouse and the Slytherin rooms at Hogwarts. He was the best uncle a girl could ever ask for. He had just gifted her a snake familiar on her fifteenth birthday. It was a hybrid of an Adder and the Horned Serpent. Primrose named her Ebony.

Her uncle didn't know how an Adder and a Horned Serpent mated, but he chalked it up to magic. He had rescued the snake from being used for potion ingredients before she even hatched. It didn't matter much to Primrose because she may be unique, but she loved Ebony. She was wonderful. They recently did a blood bond and a magical bonding, so ebony could now choose how much venom she used and if she wanted, she could kill or paralyze her prey. She knew one thing for sure, she would never kill Onyx, the basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets. He was there as an added defense to protect the school and everyone inside.

Although, Primrose would request to be able to use the discarded teeth and skin from Onyx for any purposes she could think of. For instance, robes, boots, and so on. Anyway, other than Tom being her Godfather, the Pandora's were indirect descendants from the Gaunt and Slytherin bloodlines. That was the reason she could speak Parseltongue, but not perform Parselmagic.

But another thing that was different in this world was Regulus Black. Instead of being the younger brother of Sirius, he was Sirius's older twin brother. Primrose and Regulus were courting. They were due to marry when they graduated from Hogwarts. Primrose loved Regulus more than anything, but she hated the thought of getting married without her parents being there on one of the happiest days of her life.

Primrose missed her parents more than anything, but she had things to do and plans to complete. It was time to drag the magical world into the twentieth century. But she wasn't going to take away their traditions. She planned on getting rid of the laws that had put restrictions on magic. Their rituals and holidays were going to be celebrated once again. It was time to embrace being magical. She knew that every Pureblood family and half-bloods that were raised in the magical world were tired of being forced to hide their practices and religions all because of the muggleborns.

Primrose never understood why their holidays were banned in the first place because there was nothing bad about them. Granted, some people perverted their beliefs, but those were few and far between. It was maddening that their holidays had been banned because of the actions of a few. Just because a few people misused the gift of magic, doesn't mean that the rest of the magical population had to suffer also.

Bloody hell, the wizarding holidays taught them that there weren't any major differences between Light and Dark. The truth is, the holidays taught everyone to accept the necessary duality of Light and Dark in harmony. Their holidays were Imbolc, Beltone, Mabon, Samhain, and Yule.

Imbolc was a sacred day for both Light and Dark. It is a celebration of Life and Rebirth. Celebrating the welling up of magic in the crops and babies. It was the renewal of life, energy, and strength. Ritualized purification baths and celebrating bonfires.

Beltone involved rituals for health, fertility, and prosperity. How there were some aspects that Primrose hated, and that was the ritualized sex. That was something she would never do. But Primrose did participate in the Blessings of the fields and magic.

Mabon was a welcoming of the Dark. Recognizing that life is a cycle and that death is just a part of life. Night is as necessary as Day. Winter lets the Earth rest in preparation for the coming Summer. It does involve blood offering freely given.

Samhain is the time the broader between the living and the dead. It allowed those who have crossed over behind the Veil to communicate with their loved ones. To give the living a chance to say their final farewells.

And finally Yule. A time of feasting and giving. Giving thanks to Lady Magic with a burnt offering of meat and grain, not a life. A Yule log that burned for days to symbolize the preserves of life through the cold, dark winter. A gathering of family, friends, allies to denote that they will be there for each other through the difficult season. A time to acknowledge Magic and how it supports magical people and races, to help everyone survive.

There was no possible explanation for why their holidays were banned. Primrose was going to change that. It was time that everyone understood where they come from. Magic was dying, and it was going to stop.
